Description of Work: Good work once they reply but hard to reach

Description of Work: We were always finding water coming from the base of our toilet. I kept thinking it was the wax seal. I contacted Greg and he was able to fit us into his schedule to take a look at our problem. After checking things out he was able to determine the water was coming from the fill valve in the tank blowing water from the top of the valve and causing water to hit the lid and run down the back of the tank. He replaced the valve and the problem was resolved. Mclean Plumbing is now our go to plumber.

Description of Work: They replaced a broken camode, replaced an electric water heater with a gas water heater-which required a new exhaust to the outside, and checked out defective clothes washing machine. They were very professional and I am pleased with their work.

Description of Work: Mr. McLean is a very nice man, however, he never responded to me regarding my job. This was even after telling when he would come over and after I met him at a friend's home. Never heard, still looking elsewhere.

The plumbing portion of the project required McLean to make multiple visits to the site over a period of nine months. | |The first visit in April 2014, involved the removal of the concrete floor; the relocation of the drain lines for the shower, toilet and sink; permit inspections; and replacement of all removed concrete. | |The second visit in July2014, involved the ruff-in plumbing of all supply lines, drain line, vent lines and the setting of the shower surround in preparation of dry wall installation. Again, McLean insured all necessary permit inspection were completed as needed. | |Third visit in December 2014, involved the finish plumbing, including the installation of sink supply values, shower values, setting of the toilet and completion the final plumbing inspections | |During the entire project, I found the McLean staff to be professional, knowledgeable and attentive details in their work. | |As the homeowner doing the majority of work on this DIY project, I found the McLean Plumbing team to be very patient and tolerant to the pace of construction, as well as the occasional delay, and mistake that come from working with homeowner. Description of Work: I purchased a deal from this company for 2 hours of plumbing labor. That turned out okay. I had them replace a tub in my laundry room. They did have to get the parts, so the 2 hours included them going to get the parts.

Description of Work: They came out in the time frame they said, They did the work I asked them to do. They were cordial and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: They were great! I first used McLean plumbing in Mar 2014 for some basic maintenance. I was really impressed with their customer service and value that I called them back for installation of a softner. That also went well. Just as they described. I called them back for emergency help and they responded asap and met their quoted price. I had them back again for installation of a hose bib. It was a really difficult job drilling through about 12 inches total of brick, wood and concrete and they only had about +/- 2 inches of play- they hit it spot on! I really couldn't believe it- it was a tight squeeze and they did it at a reasonable price. Then, another emergency- hot water heater leaking. Mr McLean came out and wanted to double check my diagnosis which he did and confirmed it was the water heater (he showed me exactly where it was leaking). I was leaving the next day on vacation and he met my time requirements. He advised which water heater to buy. I had some code problems from a different contractor and he fixed them. I live in an older home and it was a tight squeeze, but it worked. I will definitely call them back. I've lived in my home for 14 years and called a plumber a total of 0 times before March- since then, I have had to call a plumber 4 times since- each time I called McLean and haven't been disappointed. And, I'll call them again for the next time I need a plumber. Great service and decent pricing.

Description of Work: I was in the process of buying a house and had a weird sulfur smell in the water that needed investigation. I bought the 2 hours of labor deal through Angie's List, but when I reached out and described the problem he (Greg, I believe) explained how to identify the problem on my own so he could come out prepared to do the work. The problem ended up being an old water heater that needed replacing, which the seller's did replace, so I wasn't actually able to use his service. I plan to have him do some work for my mother soon. He was great, explained everything in detail and got back to me very quickly.

Description of Work: Called back within a couple days to schedule an appointment, appointment was set up for 7 Aug at 4 pm and no one ever showed up or called to say they weren't coming.

Description of Work: Took a while to get a date agreed on. I felt that if we have already paid for a service, the company may want to be a bit more responsive and timely in getting to us and not making us wait. They did a good job, it just took too long to get to us. Long periods of time in between returned phone calls.
