Description of Work: Replaced toilet and had a rotted out sub floor replaced by new plywood. A new laminate floor and sub-floor was also replaced throughout the entire bathroom.

Description of Work: Great experience. My call was answered within a very short time and greg was able to come out only hours after i called. We had a toilet that was leaking and causing water damage to the ceiling below. The entire job was completed in one visit even though he had to go to the store for parts. Very clean and professional.

Description of Work: Greg brought another person with him to complete the work in less time than he originally estimated. He repaired 3 leaky toilets, found a leaky hot water tank that I was unaware of, and repaired it as well by replacing a seal rather than having to get a whole new water heater.

Description of Work: I used Gregory Mclean for plumbing. He did pretty extensive work. He completely re-routed the kitchen sink and replaced the pipes leading down to the basement.

Description of Work: I called Mr. Mclean about installing a new water heater. He came out prepared to install a new water heater but after checking mine out he said mine was operating OK and that it looked like I had one with a life time warranty. He checked the elements and adjusted the temperature and suggested I check into my warranty. I really appreciated his honesty about my heater. He could have installed the new heater without me knowing that mine was still OK. I will certainly use him the next time I need any plumbing work.

Description of Work: We had noticed the sound of water leaking in our master bathroom. We made failed attempts to locate and decided we needed an expert. A neighbor recommended Greg McLean Plumbing. He came to our home and explained in detail the process needed to find an underground leak because we live on a slab. A few days later he opened walls in our garage and master bedroom and had to remove our laundry room sink and cabinet. He capped off the cold water line underground feeding both master bath sinks. He reinstalled cabinet and sink in laundry room and turned the water back on. We were unable to use cold water but it wasn't an issue for us. He returned four days later to do extensive work running tubing from our mechanical room into the attic and down into the master bath sink wall. It took him almost four hours to complete. Keep in mind there was much more done but I am condensing my info because I am not the expert here ; ) Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, he did not come back to repair drywall for two weeks. He spent two days completing the drywall application, coming in the morning, going to another job, and returning the same afternoon and following day to complete. I would say he had at least a total of 12 hours on this job over the course of a month.

Description of Work: I asked my grandson to install a drain basket on my kitchen sink as the old drain basket rusted out. While installing the drain basket, my grandson broke the pipe under the sink. I immediately logged into Angies List and researched Plumbers in my area. I found McLean Plumbing and saw it had A ratings, great member reviews, as well as was a Angies List Service Provider Award winner. I called McLeans Plumbing and Mr McLean called me back within a few minutes. I described my issue and given that it was mid afternoon, figured the soonest Mr McLean could come out would be the next day. To my pleasant surprise, Mr McLean said he was in my area and would be willing to stop by after his next service call. About 20 or 30 minutes later he arrived and surveyed the situation. He then proceeded to replace the broken pipe as well as to install the drain basket in the sink. All work was clean and professionally done. And the price was fair and reasonable and all done within an hour. Thanks to his prompt same afternoon response, quality work, honesty, integrity, and fair price, I will use him as my plumber for life going forward and will recommend him to my family, friends and neighbors here in the area. Description of Work: Rental property plumbing repairs and renovations. Removed an old rusted tub and ceramic tile in a bath. Removed old sink and cabinet in bath. Replaced tub and cabinet with sink and all new faucets. Did other plumbing repairs that required removing sheet rock.

Description of Work: Replaced Hot water heater . Water heater was leaking at the bottom and needed to be replaced. Mr McClean came and assessed the situation and recommended replacement. The new appliance needed to be lower than the existing piping outfit, and he attached the necessary piping and showed me the finished work.

Description of Work: We have used McClean plumbing several times and have always been very satisfied with the results. Today, I called him at 7:30am because we had lost water pressure in our house and, basically, had no water. He had returned my call by 8:30 and agreed to be by my house by 9am. It was soon discovered that our well pump was bad - so he spent a good deal of time determining what needed replaced and how to optimize the system. After the pump was replaced and was working well (and we had water again!), it was discovered that the pump had burned out because our holding tank had gone bad (bad holding tank = overworked well pump = bad well pump + bad holding tank - ahh the glories of home ownership). Tomorrow he will be back to replace the holding tank. Long story short - I trust Greg to tell me the truth about what is wrong and the options of fixing it. He has always been punctual and professional and we will be calling him again for our next plumbing debacle.

Description of Work: My toilet needed a new part.

Description of Work: We had to replace the tile, plumming fixtures and wall in the bathroom surrounding the bath tub. We hired McLean plumbing to do the work. They hired Smith and Jones to replace the tile. Both Companies worked together great and did a fantastic job.. They aslo installed a new kitchen sink Faucet, installed new fittings for the faucet connections, and a new shut off valve for our ice maker, and repaired 1/2 copper on the cold water line.

Description of Work: Mr McLean and I discussed over the phone the cost to install a gas water heater already on the premises. He arrived on time, explained what he would do, and completed the job quickly and within the estimated price.

Description of Work: Mr McLean came in and checked out our water heater and determined that we would have to either order new parts to fix it or we had the choice of replacing the water heater. It was 7 years old and we had been without hot water for two days already and had cleanup from water in our basement to do and could not wait for parts so decided to replace. Mr McLean did a great job at removing the old one and replacing it with a new Reem. This will be better as if there is a problem arises with this one, I suspect that parts will be easier to come by as the old one was a cheap brand.

Description of Work: I called for an estimate and Greg was careful to let me know that he would have to look at the flue, ceiling height, water shut-off valves and other things in order to give me an accurate quote. I believe it was the next day when he came out to look at the job. He had an opening the very next day, which was nice but since there was nobody living there at the time it wasn't an emergency. He installed a GE 40 gal. tall, natural gas water heater with drip pan and 6 yr. warranty. He removed the old water heater and left no trace of a mess.

Description of Work: Investigated low water pressure at our home and found that the pressure reducing valve was adjusted too low. Turned up adjustment on pressure reducing valve and effectively raised our pressure to the desired level.

Description of Work: Installed new plumbing under a new kitchen sink. Also installed new garbage disposal. Greg had to adapt and modify area under the sink to allow for new plumbing installed. Also hooked up dishwasher to drain and garbage disposal. Modification of the cabinet area to allow for the new disposal was necessary.

Description of Work: I woke up to a house full of water and the water heater leaking. Answered the phone at 7am, and came over within a few hours. My son-in-law described what he thought was the problem. Willing to come over and fix, rather than replace. Explained what to look for, and risks of simpy replacing. Replacing part fixed the leak. Re-affirmed what I knew that water heater had reached life expectancy and would need to be replaced soon. Just didn't want to spend the money right before Christmas!

Fixed leak by installing new fiberglass shower, fuacets, valve, shower-head, and drain. Installed new drywall, caulked, spackled, and sanded. Installed shutoff valve under the kitchen sink for line to refrigerator ice and water dispenser. Cleaned up and removed packaging and old material.
