There were many contractors that did not listen to me when we received bids and were very unresponsive. I would highly recommend Jordan Concrete as a trustworthy and excellent contractor. Lengthy detail review: Rob and his team are some of the most honest hardworking guys ever made contact with in the residential contracting world. They were constantly going over and above the scope of work because they CARE. Sure they ran into unforeseen things with our terrain and grading and handled them without question. I own a B2B company and have been asking around for references on good concrete guys, that does stamped concrete also. Turns out there aren't many in Dayton. I turned to Angie's list and found Jordan Concrete. Of course like reading Amazon reviews there are some "negative" reviews from folks that don't have anything good to say. I can say I'm a self admitted frugal person, review conscious, consumer reports reading consumer. This purchase of over $26,000 worth of concrete was well spent with this firm. Their price is right in line with market expectations. I had a figure based on research and his price came in right on target. We wanted a new curb approach into the driveway, replacement of parking apron and a new 900+sq. ft. patio. We got much more. We got an extension of our living space, we got attention to extreme detail and greatly added value to our home. You're going to go through things that happen in contracting like; rain delays, vendor delays, cold weather, waiting for call backs. I can personally tell you Rob is very honest and he doesn't have excuses. With Rob his family ranks #1. I hope everyone's does. Sometimes a man can only do so much. The F grades he received on Angie's list from others that weren't patient for a call back or a cancelled appointment are crazy to me. I have plenty of progress pictures that show Rob himself in the bobcat, shoveling gravel, staining concrete in background on his hands and knees working along side his team. Hence a delay in call back could happen. We are all Human. Those who passed on using Jordan Concrete missed out big time. Be patient with the process and you will be amazed.

Rob Jordan knows his business. There were a few weather delays in getting the job but that's acceptable with concrete work. You can't do a good job in the rain. He and each of his guys took pride in their work. Rob made sure I knew not to drive on the pad for a week - he left cones barricading it off. They also returned in a timely manner to fill in perimeter edge around the driveway. I also noticed that one of his crew who smoked made sure to take his cigarette butts with him. It's a small thing, but I appreciated the fact that he respected my property and didn't leave cigarette trash.

My husband called Jordan Concrete and asked someone to come for an estimate. They set an appointment for Thursday, June 7th and we were told someone would arrive between 6 and 6:30 PM. No one came. We called the number and left a very nice message at 7:10 asking if we should still expect someone to show. We did not receive a return phone call. We thought surely after they got our message the next day and realized the had missed the appointment they would call to reschedule. We've never heard from them again. I guess they are busy enough this summer that they don't need to be courteous enough to call. If they had said they were booked out several weeks and would call when things slowed down that would have been fine. But at this point we will never use them. An unreliable initial meeting makes me wonder if they would do the work properly or respond if we had an issue after the work was done. I won't trust them now.

After receiving quotes from a few other companies and waiting for many unreturned phonecalls, Rob came by, listened to what I wanted, and followed up with a nice sketch of the project. Unlike any other company, he was willing to fit us in the schedule very quickly (two weeks later). The patio turned out beautiful! We are very impressed with the shape - it was exactly what we had envisioned. He offered the idea of adding an 8-inch border (which we wanted but didn't know you could do with concrete). The border turned out really nice. It has a really neat but subtle texture stamped into it. We asked him to do the lightest brushing over the concrete that he could do so that it wouldn't rough up bare feet, and it turned out so smooth. Like I mentioned in the services, Rob completely surprised me with an email informing me he was going to come by and lay some top soil over the area that the equipment traveled (small area in the back) to smooth out the ground. This is amazing to me! His crew had already regraded that area (better than the builder did). I'm very impressed with the professionalism of this company. They were prompt, trustworthy, and provided a very beautiful patio - and in a very timely manner. Now my daughter can actually have a birthday party and have friends go out the back door to play in the backyard! I definitely recommend using this company!

Went very well only had a few delays due to the extreme cold weather and snow which delayed the pouring.

Jordan Concrete Services, LLC was the most expensive estimate we received however, he was also the most professional and thorough and down to earth quote and helped us think through other ways of keeping our cost low (like suggesting we secure the brick-block vs. him getting it). During our decision making process, when we had questions, we'd call and he would get right back with us. We knew we needed to engage his company to do this work. Every day at the end of the day his workers would clean up and contain the mess. We even decided along the way to do a bit more than originally planned and he was not only amenable but gave us a reasonable rates. I couldn't believe for a project of this size how quickly he and his crew completed it despite the weather. I would certainly highly recommend Rob and his company to anyone. We were very pleased with the outcome!

Replaced three eroding concrete steps that led to front porch. A couple weeks later they returned to install a new railing on steps that needed to be cut and put together, which took extra time. Really appreciate their work. Steps and railing look great.

Called to set up a quote. Appointment was made for a Monday evening 6pm. 1.5 hours before our scheduled appointment he calls and says he cannot make it that night and sets it up for the next evening. By Tuesday 7:30pm he is a no-show and does not call us to let us know that he wouldn't be there. My husband calls him and leaves a voice mail to check on him and see if we can reschedule. Several weeks later we still have not heard from him. I guess he must have a lot of business to not have to worry about getting new customers. If you can actually get a quote from him it seems like he could do good work. I saw another review where he never called back and his response was it was his "policy" to return calls. Lack of responsiveness leaves me worried that it would be difficult to get a hold of him if he was needed to fix something after the job was done.

I am amazed by the professionalism, knowledge and outstanding quality from Jordan Concrete. I thought those days were long long gone. Their goal is to provide the best quality job and they most certainly did. I observed an attention to details that most others would not do. Such as how much of the yard was undisturbed when setting the forms, the accuracy of the angles and leveling of the forms, to the precision of the hand edging and seaming of the cement, It was truly a pleasure to know that this job was done right and there wasn't anything or anyone else that could have been done better.

Great job! Punctual and professional. Rob put in a stamped patio and 250 feet of reinforced concrete driveway. Rob's knowledge and experience helped me make the right choices. He takes the extra step to insure a good job. I would recommend Jordan Concrete to a friend.

They did great. They did an excellent work. They had a good team. They're fun to talk to and work with. They did a great work. They're nice people. Nobody should have any trouble. This is a fairly old house built in '59. The concrete in the porch was totally sick. They did a good job getting it all out and hauled off everything. They put it all back in where they had trouble. Everything is back in order. They're triple "A" all the way.

This company gave a great price for the removal of all concrete from the driveway(18'X64'), stone planter on concrete base (2' X 1.5' x 30'). and concrete porch (10' X 25') and the installation of fibermesh concrete to all of the areas where the old concrete stood. Workmanship was superb, their cleanup left no work for the customer, but to admire the results. I would refer this company to anybody that needs concrete service. They deserve a AAA+ rating or what ever the highest rating there is.

They did an outstanding Job on this floor and I recommend them highly.. This Company and the owner are top notch, very professional and in my opinion they are the best. I had them do a curb, apron and sidewalk for me last fall @ my home. I would hire them again...

Rob Jordan came out personally and measured the sidewalk and provided me with a written estimate. I accepted the estimate, which I thought was reasonable. His price conformed to his original estimate. He scheduled the work for a few weeks later. An opportunity arose for rescheduling for an earlier date, which I accepted. He and his crew came out early the morning the work was scheduled. They removed all of the old sidewalk, about 65 feet of concrete. I had some nice landscape features which were not damaged at all. They prepared the bed and laid the forms in one day. the second day the concrete was poured. They came back and removed the forms and cleaned up the work area. I was very pleased with every aspect of the Jordan's work. I would use them again and definitely recommend their services to others.
