+ -1 moreWe used Jerry Allen’s company to paint three rooms in our home. He was extremely professional and very good about returning phone calls throughout the entire process. Courtney and David prepped and painted our rooms in less than three days. They are very good about covering furniture and floors as they work. Each day, they left our home in great condition. All baseboards, walls and various trims look exceptional. I highly recommend this company for all your painting needs. You will not be disappointed.
Description of Work: Painting entry hall, den, living room, and dining room.

+ -1 moreI reported the poor work done by Jerry Allen paiting to the BB because he took my money; would not return calls; did a lousy job. As it turns out, the BB could never get him to retun their calls either. Sad that the BB keeps him listed at all given his poor record. Do not hire him; you will regret it. He will take your money and run.

+ -1 moreJob was done poorly. They could not do as good a job as they said they could. Did not seem to possess the skills and spend the time to do a great job . I had to hire another painter to fix Jerry Allen's paint job and redo the ceiling and walls. I wasted my money on him.
Description of Work: Jerry Allen's Painting did a poor quality job and did not keep his promise to return and fix the drip areas and grey spot areas on my ceiling. He did cash my check for $1,475! The job involved removing a stomped ceiling and then painting the entire living room area. When he wrapped up the job on 31 March 2017, the ceiling still had several drip marks and areas that looked grayish. Jerry Allen said that was because the paint was not yet dry on my plaster ceiling and that the drips marks and gray spots would disappear. They did not. At that time, I had asked him 3 times if he would come back to fix these areas if they did not go away. He said yes. I have learned that the skill set he say he has, he does not possess. His painters did not to clean up the edges of the ceiling where walls intersect. Thus, old caulk that was embedded was not removed. When the walls were painted, the wall paint color was also on the white ceiling near these edges. In addition, the paint he used on the walls was of lower quality than the Sherwin Williams Duration paint that I requested. As a result, the wall paint job had several dull areas due to poor coverage from this lower quality paint. I called Jerry Allen's Painting 4 times and left messages each time on his answering machine. He has never returned my calls. I had to hire another painter to fix Jerry Allen's paint job and redo the ceiling and walls.

Description of Work: Fantastic experience. Went above and beyond, doing interior painting to repair water damage by our chimney at 27' high, and exterior by painting our barn. Once the projects were started, they were finished in a timely manner, and the indoor and outdoor sites were clean. Can't say enough good about the experiences.

Description of Work: Have used Jerry for painting for over 20 years and he/crew did a great job. This time he "repaired/replaced" some siding for me. It is now popping open at the seams and he has not responded to my calls to come fix it. It makes me really sad to have to report this as everything else had been so good. | | | | |
