 + -1 moreThey arrived at the appointed time, noon. They worked as a team. One worked inside while the other handled the work from outside. After finishing the front faucet they started on the rear faucet. This was a little more work in as much as the line was under the kitchen sink and enclosed in a cabinet. When they were were finished I compliment them on the quality and efficiency of doing their tasks. I believe the total project was completed in less than two hours.
Description of Work: A team of two arrived on time and replaced two outdoor faucets. They did a great job with a minimum disruption to my wife and me. They acted like professionals who knew what they were doing.

water heater repair
 + -1 moreOur 25-year-old water heater died on Friday afternoon. We called Chris, who was unable to come until Monday, but since we didn't need to run major appliances and we could take showers elsewhere, that was fine. He removed our old heater and installed the new one. He explained how to flush the heater twice a year to eliminate lime deposits and told us this procedure would help to extend the heater's "life expectancy." The heater and its parts have six -year warranties and his work is warrantied, too. He showed us how to adjust the temperature, too. Chris told us to call him if there were any problems. Everything was cleaned up and he took the old heater. He does his work with integrity and made sure we understood how to maintain the water heater. Great job!
Description of Work: Chris removed our old water heater, replaced it with a new model and instructed us on how to flush the system to extend the heater's life.

Just before 3:30, I got a call that someone else could do the job, but could not be to my house, until 6 and asked if that would work. Stephan arrived promptly at 6 and ready to work. He was extremely pleasant and professional. He completed the job thoroughly and efficiently. He cleaned up above what I would have expected. I am very pleased with the work.

 + -1 moreOur kitchen drain backed up and we had called Roto-Rooter, who came out, charged $300 to send a line through, and then wanted to do a video camera line for another $300. I called two drain companies on the list and one referred me to Chris Adams at Narrow Path Plumbing. Chris called me that evening and we set up a time for the following afternoon. He called me before he came over and proceeded to do a thorough check of lines, sinks and dishwasher drainage. He discovered the clog described above and got it cleaned out. He cleaned up thoroughly, explained what he did and how to dissolve clogs on our own (ice cubs, dishwashing detergent and cold water). Charge was only $85. Based on this experience, I will use Chris again for plumbing services.
Description of Work: Chris Adams checked the sink for drainage, filling and emptying both sinks and running the dishwasher rinse and drain cycle to check for backup. He also checked the downstairs lines. He discovered that the juncture of the disposal and dishwasher drains had a massive clog, which he cleaned out and tested again. Sink drains with no problem.

 + -1 moreEvery time they came to do a job they were on time, had the materials, and were professional and friendly. Each time we had them do a job, they did it so well/reasonable we had them return to complete another job. In total we contracted them 3 times in less than 3 weeks. There wasn't anything we asked for that wasn't completed to perfection. Everything was explained to us in detail then put in writing for us to read. There were no surprise extra costs, loud talking, music or anything that happened that was not totally professional.
Description of Work: We first had Narrow Path Plumbing for a 2 hour set rate, work material not included. They replaced an outside faucet, fixed a leak where the main water line entered the house and a leak where an outside faucet could be shut off from the inside of the house. A lot of this work had to be done from a dirt crawl space. They were so efficent that we asked for an estimate to replace our galvanized steel pipes with copper and give us a new toilet. The pipes they replaced were 64 years old. They did such a good job we decided to get an estimate and had them come back and do some drain work. The price we paid for the labor, work material and clean up was very reasonable. I have never work done by a nicer more efficent plumber.

 + -1 moreMy bathroom sink was extremely clogged. I tried using drano six times, my dad came over two days in a row and attempted plunging it. I had standing water in my sink that just would not go down. Narrow Path Plumbing worked with me on the price and was here for about an hour. He had to go way down into the pipe to clean it out. He didn't have to work with me on the price, but he did. I will definitely be using him from now on as my plumber for all my future needs, my family will as well. He was a very caring individual.

Description of Work: I contacted Narrow Path Plumbing to get an estimate for replacing a water softener. Chris Adams, "The owner," came to my home that day and gave me a fair quote. He took the extra time to explain the benefits of a water softener system and his recommendation on which softener to install. I gave him the go ahead to do the work. Chris removed the old softener and replaced it with one that would be easy for me to use. I was very happy with his work and professionalism throughout the job. He did not mind me asking questions while he installed the softener; he ensured that all my questions were answered and showed me how to operate the softener before he left. I am very happy that I chose Narrow Path Plumbing to do the job and will definitely use them in the future. I would have no problem referring him to do plumbing work in anybody's home. My dishes in my dish washer are noticeably cleaner, which is the initial reason I called.

Description of Work: We had a number of issues: slow running drains...three bathroom sinks, 2 bathtubs, as well as the set tub by the washing machine. Our Kitchen faucet/spicket was wobbly and loose, and the dishwasher was not draining (water puddled at bottom of dishwasher). Narrow Path came out quickly and on time, and performed all the work very professionally. Drains were snaked, the set tub trap replaced, dishwasher drain cleared (through trap in basement...messy job for them), and wobbly fixtures tightened. Would call them again.

Day three finished floor and installed sink and commode. Great job done. Very efficient workers. They were there to do a job and they did in a very timely matter, I am so pleased and would recommend highly!!

 + -1 more12/13/11 I had a new countertop and backsplash put in my kitchen. The company recommended Narrow Path Plumbing to install new sinks faucets and disposal. Chris called to set up a time a few days prior and showed up right on time. Since I did not have a turn off valve on the kitchen sink line, the countertop installers had to shut off water for the whole house. When Chris realized this the first thing he did was put shut off valves on kitchen line so I wouldn't have that problem again. He noticed that the prior (original) plumbing was "all over the place", he re-arranged the pipes to give me lots more room under the sink. He noticed a rust spot on disposer that showed a slow leak and was able to replace that for me on the spot. Chris was very clean, friendly and professional. Work was done in a timely manner, he cleaned up after himself and promptly left after work was tested and satisfactory.

 + 1 moreOverall the best investment I could have made for many reasons most importantly longer life for all my appliances water tank dishwasher plumbing in general.
Description of Work: Was having a problem with hard water dish washer left the dishes with a white film, glass shower doors were filming etc... We called Chris to get advice on what we could do to solve this problem, he recommended a water softener. Within a couple days there was a very noticeable difference in the film that was left on the dishes and shower door. Thanks Chris now I know my appliances will be given the opportunity to last as alot longer than would have without this improvement.

Mr. Adams ordered the brand that my fiance requested and installed it for us on the date that we requested. Mr. Adams and his assistant were very prompt, professional, and tidy. They arrived on Friday morning, removed our old water heater and replaced it with a brand new one in a timely manner. They cleaned up when the job was finished and were very polite. We would recommend Narrow Path Plumbing to anyone who is in need of plumbing services. The price they charged us was fair and they did a great job.
