Once the weather settled, it went fine. The men were polite, professional and in general very nice!

It has been good. We have them out here too often. They back up their work. We think it's high but I think it's in line with with other plumbers charge. They're not gouging us any more than anybody else. The quality depends on who comes out. A lot of times we have the younger one. Sometimes, I have to have a follow up on that. They come out and double check it. The older plumbers have more experience and they do a better job. Their responsiveness is very good. They get out here as quickly as they can. That's who we call.

Very well. Installation scheduled immediately. Installed quickly and cleaned up completely.

Excellent. Dean's was quick to respond to a message I left in their emergency number (they are normally closed on Saturdays). They installed a new water heater and removed the old one by early afternoon.

My sump pump was starting to make noises and it was almost 10 years old. Dean's sent a plumber out on the day and time that was convenient for me. He was extremely polite and did not leave a mess. He replaced the sump pump and put in a new, better, quieter check valve. He also checked the battery operated back up sump pump.

I called around to several different plumbers in the area to get pricing on the water heater replacement for a rental property of mine. Their pricing was on par with other plumbers I called, but what I liked about Dean's was that I asked a question that she did not know the answer to, so she found the answer and quickly called back. They were also the only plumber I could find who offered a water heater with a 12 year warranty (for not that much more money). The toilet repair was a last minute add on and was done quickly using parts I provided. What I did not like was the pricing of an add on part I asked for that was not part of the original quote. I asked Kevin, the plumber, to also replace the water heater supply valve since the one currently in place was old and I figured now was the time to replace it. I knew that it would only take him a few extra minutes to cut it off and braze a new one in place. What I failed to do was ask "how much more" will this cost me--I knew the price of a new ball valve at Home Depot or Lowe's was in the $15-$30 range, so I didn't expect that my bill would go up that much as a result of my request. Well, when I went over the bill with Kevin, the price charged for the fill valve was $120. I questioned him about the price and he said it was "book price" that the office assigns to parts. I understand they are in business to make a profit, but I feel that this was a bit excessive. Lesson learned--always ask "how much more" when adding additional work onto a project. Also note, they charge a 2% up-charge for credit card usage, so make sure you have a check.

Grease had accumulated in the kitchen drain, causing it to drain extremely slowly. These guys came out and cleaned out the drain. They did a great job - very thorough and made sure to clean up after themselves. After they left, I couldn't tell they had even been there. Pricing seemed reasonable

A person from Dean's Plumbing called to let me know when to expect the plumbers to arrive. Based on her information, they were right on time. The plumbers were polite and courteous and worked quickly to remedy the problem. When they were shutting the water off, they noticed the water softener recycle timer was off, so they reset it for me. I was able to use my 5% Angie's List discount coupon to pay the bill. They left the bathroom clean and neat an d in perfect working condition.

I love them. They are wonderful. They are phenomenal. They are a family group. There are like six boys and all of their names are like Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Nebuchadnezzar. They are really a wonderful family. All of the boys are plumbers and their dad is a plumber. They are prompt, clean, professional, and reasonable. They are awesome. I love everything about them. I have a really big old house. It was built in 1929 so we have plumbing issues and they have been just great.

The wonderful young man worked quickly stopped to tell me everything he did before starting the next step politely asking if that was alright to proceed. He didn't leave a big mess either, what a great experience!!

Previous experience with Dean's has always been exceptional, and this most recent service call was no exception. Kevin not only fixed the problem toilet he came to repair, but noticed several other things that needed attention. Rather than have me make another appointment, which would incur another service call, he offered to do the repairs right then. He also found problems with a previously installed water heater (by another company several years ago) that could have possibly caused devastating water, pipe, and equipment damage if not detected. He sent me out to buy the part while he did the repair he was called to do, then replaced the part when I returned. As a consumer who knows absolutely nothing about plumbing, I am at the mercy of knowledgeable professionals to let me know if something is wrong and needs to be repaired or replaced. Some of these "professionals" take advantage of that and put a "bandaid" on these problems, knowing they will have to come back out for repeated service repairs. After talking and interacting with Kevin, I feel confident that this was definitely not the case. He did what he would have done if it were his own home. He could have told me I needed to completely change piping to my toilet to make it more stable, but instead, "McGyvered" it (with my permission) to make it work. I was completely satisfied with that! He potentially saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars in future water/pipe/equipment damage with his water heater repair. He changed my water softener settings to make it more efficient and gave me advice on a better, additive free water softener. His customer service and skill guarantees that my family will continue to call on Dean's for any service we need in the future.

The two men from Dean's Plumbing arrived right on time, even before the office could call to say that they were on their way. They went right to the job of installing a new toilet and then replaced the fill value and bulb in another. They were very professional and completed both jobs in a timely manner. They cleaned up their work area and removed all excess waste. In checking on why the ice maker was not making ice, it was quickly determined that the filter needed replacing. I was very pleased with the work as usual. For some time now I have called Dean's for all of my plumbing needs. A very satisfied customer.

Super job! Plumber arrived on schedule, prepared the new toilet, then replaced the existing toilet. The plumber was pleasant and experienced, gladly answering all questions. Price-wise I gave Dean's a grade of "B" because they weren't the least expensive estimate - but Value-wise they are an A+. Will use for future plumbing needs.

The plumber arrived promptly on schedule. (We were pleased to get an appointment on the day after calling.) He worked efficiently and properly repaired the kitchen drain. He did a good job and left the site clean. This company is located a short distance from our home, which was a reason for calling them, along with its rating on Angie's List. The leak was fixed, and has not recurred.

Was called ahead by the provider to give 30 minute arrival warning that was within their originally scheduled 3 hour service window. Plumber arrived on time, was friendly and introduced himself. I explained the city inspection identified the drain line needed lengthening and looping to prevent back flow to the dishwasher. Additionally the supply line needed a water hammer arrester installed. He quickly assesses end the current installation and stated he had all the supplies needed. Work took approximately 1 hour and was completed without any readily identifiable complications or problems. Invoice provided on completion of work and paid with a check to avoid credit/debit card service fee. No problems or complaints thus far and currently awaiting re-inspection.

They are awesome. They are fast, and very reliable. I think it is a family owned company. I think I spoke to his wife on the phone and she was very clear and asked appropriate questions. He came out and did a wonderful job. He was quick and clean. Since then we choose them to do our plumbing work and they are our plumbers now. When he came out he did several jobs for us. He explained everything very clearly and he is very reasonably priced.

Dean's plumbing did a great job fixing my clogged drain and leaking plumbing. I definitely recommend them to anyone. Service was fast, complete, and fair.

The plumber was punctual and friendly. He checked the circuit breaker, ripped the insulation around the water heater open, opened the upper and lower heating element panels. The plumber could not tell if the circuit breaker was working properly. He determined that there was electricity going through the heating elements but could not tell whether they were working properly. There appeared to be a small amount of water leaking because the garage floor was wet but no dripping was visible. The source of the water was not known. The plumber put a cap on the sprout coming out the bottom of the tank and there does not appear to be anymore leaking. He also did a rather poor job taping the insulation back together. All of this might have taken about 15 minutes. Then we waited to see if the water heater got hot. It did gradually but the plumber lingered on and made several phone calls. I wasn't sure what he was still intending to do but since he did not leave and he really did not give me a diagnosis of the problem, we chatted about options for replacing the water heater. My main dissatisfaction was that no cause for the problem was identified and the water heater is still not working properly. The diagnosis was that it could be the circuit breaker, it could be one or both of the heating elements, or it could be the tank. I would not want to have to pay an hour's service for a minimum amount of work and not even getting a determination of the source of the problem but would have accepted it if the minimum charge was an hour's service. But on top of the hour's service ($100), a $39 service call was charged. I find this to be a highly atypical practice. The $10 coupon that they credited me did not make up for the rather high rate of service charge on top of the service call charge.

We have had very good experience with them.

.First the water heater. Ours failed suddenly. Dean's was able to find a replacement with a power exhaust vent and install before most others could schedule an estimate. Their pricing was quite reasonable and the installer (Isaiah) was quick, professional and courteous. The install of the gas line for the range was a masterful job of fitting in the gas lines and shutoff into a tight place. The dishwasher install was less clean and one of the fittings used failed and leaked (another of their employees did this install). I called and Isaiah came back quickly and replaced the fitting. The sink, faucet and disposer install was well done and has been working flawlessly. I highly recommend Isaiah, he's very good, punctual, has good connections in the local area and his work has held up.

I am pleased with them and they do a good job. They were very polite and friendly. They arrive when they said they will. I have good experiences with them. They offer suggestions that may not be quite expensive. It is not hard to get a hold of them and if you leave a message they call you back. They were very reasonable to work with.
