Carroll's Pest Control

We had a family friend who suspected they had some kind of bug problem. They were too freaked out at the thought of it so we helped them handle the issue. We did some reading on the internet, and armed with printouts and pictures from the internet we proceeded to do an inspection ourselves. After a lengthy afternoon we came to the conclusion that there didn't seem to be a problem. Another family member also did an inspection and sprayed some household bug killer around the walls of the home and shampooed the carpets. At this point we thought we had taken care of what ever problem their might have been------- WRONG! After more complaints from the friend that they still thought there was an issue, we asked for some input from some neighbors and someone recommended that we call John Carroll's Pest Control service. He was local and he does free inspections. So we called him up. Our first meeting with John was an inspection of the home. John had the tools and education and experience and he showed us just how he found the bugs and where they were hiding and explained why. We were shocked to learn that the problem was getting pretty bad. We thought we had looked it over pretty well- BUT we were not doing the inspection right. He advised us on what preparations we needed to make and we set up appointments for him and his helper to come and attack the problem. After the three treatments were completed i can safely say that the issue is very well taken care of. We were comfortable with the way he conducts his business. He really seems to know all about his trade and laid out the facts and options of how to get the problem taken are of. We did not feel pressured to do business with him. He was honest and straightforward with us, and considering how much of his time was involved his price was very reasonable. He was willing to always answer any question we had during the event. ALSO - John does not arrive in a large van or truck with noisy machines or big logos that scream out to all the neighbors "HEY LOOK HERE - WE HAVE A BUG PROBLEM". His vehicle is unmarked, and rather plain, and he is very discreet about doing his work. They didn't wear hazmat suits or uniforms to attract attention to themselves either. I don't remember if they even had name badges on their shirts. They just quietly did their work on each visit and left just as quietly. Is his business perfect?--I don't know . Was choosing his company to handle the problem perfect for us? YES. NOTE- a bug problem is not a fun situation. IF you delay it only gets worse, rather quickly sometimes. If you suspect you may have a problem of this sort, don't wait. Call Somebody soon. Get estimates before deciding but act quickly, or it can be a big issue before you know it.
