Someone tried to break into my house by forcing a window open. Luckily only one of the 2 window panes broke so they didn't get in. But, I had a broken window to deal with. Several window companies said they didn't do repairs or only repaired their own windows. I called Kerbler, talked to a very friendly person, found out that if I needed someone to come out to the house it would take a while as they were very busy. But if I could bring the window in, they could fix it right away. In fact, if I brought the window in by 10AM, they could fix it the same day. I was able to take the window to them. The shop was not too far from my home and when I got there I was greeted promptly and very professionally. The gentleman got the window from my car, wrote up a repair order and said they'd call me as soon as it was done. I had to stay at home while the window was out to prevent someone trying to get in my house again. Sure enough, about 3PM they called to say the window was repaired. They put the fixed window in my car and I was on my way home. I am so glad I found this business and will return any time I need window work done in the future.

I originally called to get an estimate for replacing a window in the entryway. The owner, Mr. Kerbler, came out personally to take measurements and quote a price. While he was here, he noticed another window with a broken seal in our loft and recommended replacing it at the same time since the labor charge would be the same. The windows were ready in about 3 weeks. The installers arrived promptly on time as scheduled and went to work right away. The full size window is on the 2nd story in the entryway which I thought would make the work a bit challenging but they took care of it quickly and without any problems. Both windows were replaced in under one hour and they left no mess. I will definitely use them again for any window replacement work and would recommend them to anyone.

He was so helpful and knowledgeable, and at the same time honest and not making a pitch to sell us new windows, that if we do decide to replace our windows in future, I will make sure to call them again.

A pressurized part on a 3-pane Jalousie window crank popped rendering the crank useless. We removed the crank and took it to several local hardwares and specialty building suppliers in the Grandview area hoping to find a replacement to fix our window. A rep at Apco (thank you, Apco!) suggested that we contact Kerbler. We arrived at Kerbler with the old part, and their rep measured it and located a replacement crank on hand in his stock. We installed the new crank and the old kitchen window works just fine.

I had a family mirror cut to fit in a custom frame for our bathroom. I have also used this company last year to replace all the double pane glass and seals in the entire house on another home. It is not always necessary to replace your windows with new ones when what you may need is just new glass in the existing frames. The window frames would need to be in good enough shape for this to be done and could save you money like they did for me.

When they came out to install them they realized there were small defects in the inserts and instead of installing them they reordered them to make sure the job was done right. They are just what you need when your windows start to break down.

The owner of the company came out to my home, wrote an estimate and explained in detail scope of work. Professional crew came out and installed new glass. It was obvious that this company is well run and highly qualified. Perfect installation. Very respectful of my home and windows. Everything went EAXCTLY as it should have. Will certainly use them again for any future work.

I had a double hung window that wouldn't stay up, and others that just didn't work right. The windows were made and installed by companies that are no longer in business, so I had great difficulty finding someone to fix/adjust them. I first called the "home maintenance" branch of a local window company... who gave me an estimate of $1,100.00 (yes... that's eleven hundred dollars)!! So... I thought maybe I could purchase/install the balancers and adjust the windows myself. During my search for balancers, the window department at Anderson's General Store suggested I call Kerbler Windows... which I obviously did. My experience with Kerbler was thumbs-up from the start. Diane set up an appointment for Tom Kerbler to come to the house and provide a FREE estimate. Mr Kerbler came to the house, checked ALL of the windows (not just those with which I had issues), and gave me an estimate of $130.00 (yes, that's one hundred thirty dollars)... $970.00 LESS THAN the other estimate... for the same work!! I called the Kerbler office later that day and made an appointment to have the work done the following week... on Thursday at 3:00 PM. Diane called me on the morning of the appointment and said they could come that morning (instead of 3:00) if I was at home. The repairman was there at 10:00 AM. I didn't catch his name, but my experience with him mirrored my experiences with the rest of the Kerbler people. He was prompt, courteous, and knowledgable (he said he had worked for Kerbler for 18 years). He replaced the balancers and adjusted the first window, checked and adjusted the other 3 windows, and asked if there were any other windows I wanted him to check... so he checked and adjusted 2 others. Total time was less than an hour. I can't say enough positive things about The Kerbler Company. Their customer service is superb. I wish all companies did business like Kerbler.

I have used Kerbler before and so had no problem hiring them for this job. The owner of the company came and took all the appropriate measurements. He had to order the jamb liners from another company, so we scheduled the install date out a month. When the parts arrived they were white instead of off-white. This was a problem only because we were only replacing the liners in some of our windows, not all of them...they wouldn't have matched the existing ones. They ended up rescheduling the installation twice while waiting for the parts. When the install day came, a pair of men came out to do the work. I had been told it would take from 9am-1pm. They arrived promptly and completed the work by 11:30am. They offered to replace the blinds on the windows, although I wanted to dust them, so I did it myself. Very good experience with Kerbler, however it was too bad they were at the mercy of another company when it came to getting the parts. I will use them again.

Called for estimate- It was a free estimate. The person was professional, accurate, etc. Later that month the windows were repaired. They were timely and efficient. The windows look great and it was all done for a reasonable amount of money. It was so reasonable I am going to have them come back and do more windows.

Needed a bedroom window screen repaired quickly - Kerbler did an excellent job and completed it within a day. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

It could not have gone any more smoothly.

The glass replacement process went very smoothly from start to finish. Additionally, while the installers were here, they noticed that my French door screens were not seated properly in their tracks so they re-set them and sprayed the track with WD 40 for smoother operation. Now that was an unexpected and much-appreciated bonus! And I found two additional windows whose seals have failed so I had the installers measure those two windows so they, too, can be fixed.

They explained everything to us over the phone and told us that it could be done same day. I went it and dropped it off and at the end of the day it was complete. Went very smoothly.

The experience was great. The owner came out and took all the measurements of the glasses. The windows are all quite old and he miscalculated the depth of the larger part of the windows so the parts they brought out were not going to work. The owner apologized and said they would come back with the proper glass. This happened in August and they were able to come back out on September 8th. They would have been able to come earlier than that, however I was out of town. They were very professional. I asked for a couple of extra things after they got here and they gladly provided me with them. They cleaned up well after themselves and wore booties over their shoes. One man remained outside since they needed to be both inside and outside to do the job. For any mess they may have made they brought a sweeper to clean it up. The price ended up being quite a bit lower then I expected.

When I stopped to get an estimate, they were very helpful and answered all my questions. Later, when I took the frames in for them to do the work, they were prompt and articulate about price and expected date of completion. When I picked up the windows, he helped load them carefully into the truck and even said that he was so confident they would make the trip to my house unbroken, that if they didn't he'd "eat the cost". Their price wasn't necessarily unreasonable; the only reason I assigned a B to the price was because it's just an expensive repair. But, I believe you get what you pay for, and they clearly know the glass and window business.

Called on Wednesday to see if they could look at a vinyl window with broken interior parts. They came out the next day, had the right parts on hand, and fixed my window in about an hour.

Came out when they said they would and completed job within 2 hours.

They did glass replacement. They have a good price, and are very convenient and flexible.

We had large double paned windows and the two window next to them installed. I think that they did a very nice job. They were easy to get in touch with and make the appointment. They were in quick and out quick. I had an all around good experience with this company.

If you break a window or something you can take it in and they will fix it. They can also recognized what company made the windows and replace it. It may take a week or two. They know what they are doing. They have been in business a long time. It is reasonable rates.

After some odd miscommunications via the office staff on scheduling the estimate and the installation, the actual experience proved to be positive. The office staff was unaware of what the owner had committed to so it caused delays in getting an estimate done, etc. I was promised I would get a call back, twice but it did not happen until I called back and complained a third time.

Very well. You drop off the window before 10 a.m. and pick it up after 3:30. They got the job done and were very friendly. Price was high, but I am unable to compare against other contractors.

These guys are the best. I have a full-glass storm door, which means that I have a full screen door in the summer. The door was bent and the screen was ripped. They not only replaced the screen, but repaired the bend, and added a very tasteful center bar where there was not before. All of this for $60!
