It must have been good, I did not call anyone to complain. As I recall they were okay. I did not have any complaints against them. There was no other charges that I can remember. They did a roof tune up.

I had a roof leak and they came out and they did all this work and they didn't fix the leak. I called them back and did more and didn't fix the leak. When I called them back the third time, they said well, we don't guarantee repairs. When they told me they don't guarantee repairs that wasn't very responsive. They sent one person out, each time and sometimes it was a different person.They're price was reasonable price had the repair worked. I think they could work on customer relations and guaranteeing their work.

THey refused to refund my $99

Did not use. I got a refund.

At first I thought Angie's List was ripping me off because the guy that came out told me that he was doing all of this work for free. He told me that the deal only covered about 20 minutes of visual inspection and nailing down a few shingles. He also told me that he was only allowed to use the materials that would fit in his pockets. After talking with Angie's list however I now know that he was lying to me. The deal was $79 for $375 worth of service including: $79 for two hours of spring roof, siding, and gutter maintenance Detailed exterior assessment Up to two labor-hours Inspector finalizes all inspections of your home Perform minor roof repairs to prevent future water intrusion Seal exposed nails and caulk accessories throughout roofing system Seal penetrations (i.e. unsealed pipe collars, exhaust fans/vents, and chimney flashing) Re-securing of loose shingles, gutters and downspouts Re-fastening loose fascia trim, re-securing of siding and shutters Written quote by an inspector, for insurance purposes if needed Any other areas that are in need of maintenance will be brought to the homeowner's attention, and a professional plan of action will be presented He didn't do anything on this list. I feel like I got screwed on this deal. I am a widow who is living on a very small fixed income and will not be taken advantage of by Great Roofing & Restoration LLC.

It was a big deal. He came out promptly. It's an old house and the siding is old. We talked about what needed to be done. I have lost a couple of pieces of siding. He said that he wasn't sure that he would be able to replace the siding because the siding was so old, if it's still being manufactured. He encouraged me to call my insurance company and find out if they would cover siding my house. So I called them and they said, well but we need the estimate because if what they're going to do is less than you're deductible, you're not going to want to file a claim. If it's more, then we need to know how much more and we need to come out and inspect and all of that. I called them back and I've gotten a run-around ever since. They have not been in contact with me. I have emailed them a number of times saying, have you been able to find the siding? Can you come out and give me an estimate? Can you do what you promised to do. They keep saying, well we're still looking for the siding. We can't give you an estimate until we find out if your siding is still being made and it's October. The last in-person conversation I had with them was if they couldn't do the siding, they would at least clean my gutters because I paid them. They have never acted on any of that. All they have to do is tell me, no that siding is no longer being made so we can't replace , we have to reside and that would be x amount of dollars. So I can go to my insurance company and talk to them. I still may not do it but at least I can talk to my insurance company and see about getting some of the work done. It was wind damage and you can see where the wind has blown the siding up. It would have been insurance, maybe some of it, and nothing. I have about a week to act on what I was going to do. They said, if they didn't at least come out, they'll call me within the next 10 days to contact me. They will come out and clean the gutters as they promise. They took my money and did nothing.

On the surface this looked like a great deal. Who wouldn't want an extra 500 sq feet of insulation in their attic for $99 right? WRONG! In most attics it takes many more than 500 sq feet to bring the insulation to the proper depth per code, which is what the company demands. (Tricky huh???) In our case about $1200 extra dollars! When I freaked out at the quote, I asked for my $99 back and they refused to give it back. After complaining to Angie's List, Angie gave me a $99 credit toward a future service. Yay Angie's List, Boo Insulation Company.

They stayed true to the price of the "Big Deal" purchase. Their pricing was fine.

I'm waiting to see how it will endure the storms we'll probably have this fall and winter. It went well for what he did. But, it hasn't really been tested yet. When he got out here, he told me that the things for which I had bought the deal weren't included in the deal and I had to pay him extra for that. I paid him extra and that made it not a good deal, financially. He said it was because of the way Angie's List limits what he is allowed to put in there. So, he kind of blamed it on Angie's List. Most of the things I needed done, he said, weren't included. What was included was just to go around and nail some things. To actually do the repairs that needed done, he said, weren't included. We had a downspout from one of the upper eavestroughs that had fallen down during a windstorm. He went ahead and nailed it down and everything and attached it really well. He did the same for another one that he thought might fall down in the same kind of weather. There was also a piece of siding that had fallen off and he nailed it back up. That's not the way it had been fixed in the past. That's why I'm waiting to see if it works right. That has been a problem for us going back about 12 years or so when the siding was put on. It was just a little piece of siding, up in a corner and the wind seems to be able to catch on it and blow it loose from the rest of the siding. He nailed it down. He appeared to do a good job but he wanted a whole lot of money for that. Unfortunately, for me, he was a good talker. He was a very good salesperson. I felt a little embarrassed afterwards that I got talked into it. He seemed to know what he was doing if, putting that piece of siding up that way turns out to be correct. As far as other things go, that he worked on, they also seem to be pretty good. But, they were mostly just nailing things down that were starting to come loose in terms of the eavestroughs and some of the places on the roof where the nails were backing out. I don't have a ladder and I'm 67 years old and it's not safe going up on the roof, but they would have been something that I could have done. If I was recommending him to a friend or a family member, I would tell them to be sure of what he was really going to charge for the whole thing. I had listed out for him in an e-mail what I wanted done. But, I didn't hear about that until he got here and was unloading his truck to get started.

No problems receiving a refund when requesting it within the 30 day time period

They did a great job. I would use them again in the future.

I called three times, left messages twice, gave contact numbers to employees, and was twice told that I would be called back to schedule services. No one ever called to schedule services. This was over 3 weeks. I finally messaged the company through Angie's List email. Their only excuse was that they had sent me a message through Angie's List asking for my contact number, and I called back instead of emailing back (although when I spoke to their company on the phone and left my phone number, no one ever suggested that I needed to email the contact information instead). I think they are overbooked and not handling it well.

Not sure who is more at fault here: 1. Great Roofing for selling this estimate masquerading as an actual service, 2. Angie's List for facilitating this scam, or 3. Me for falling for it. Here's my problem. I paid $79 for what was supposed to be 2 hours of repair work. What I got was the companies marketing director showing up to sell me additional services. He was a friendly guy, but was not there to provide the services I paid for. He completed zero repairs and did not even complete a thorough inspection of my roof. It took nearly two weeks to receive the estimate and once it was received it was at a high cost for services that in some cases, were not necessary. He spent less than 10 minutes on my roof and only walked one small section of the roof. How do I know this? I had another company come out (at no cost) to complete a roof inspection. The owner of the company (who has 30 years of experience in the industry) spent 30+ minutes on my roof and completed a very thorough inspection. There were many minor repairs that could have been made in 2 hours if Great Roofing had actually sent a roofer to the house vs a Marketing guy. Great Roofing never intended on actually providing the services sold through Angie's List. If that was the case, they would have sent an actual roofing technician vs a sales/marketing guy. Bottom line is I paid $79 for a poor quality estimate that most companies would complete at no cost. Lesson learned.

Terrible. Company said the work was not covered yet it would only take one hour for the repair. I should be refunded. This is a scam to provide estimated at a cost. They provides no real service

did not find leak around venting.. wood rotted major repairs this year from leak.

Deal said "$79 for two hours of spring roof, sliding and gutter maintenance". "Up to two labor-hours" I have a new roof so I asked for repair of two leaking gutter areas. Plus I asked for a quote to replace 4 sections of siding. He said the deal did not include fixing the gutter leaks. He was there around 50 minutes. Nice guy but I believe the offer was misleading. It led you to believe they would do repair work up to 2 hours and he said that was not the case. He stated the gutter sealing was beyond the initial call. The siding quote according to a contractor friend appeared to be high at $750 to replace the siding. Nice guy but the deal to me was a chance to solicit work only. They may be a good company but again I was disappointed.

He was great. He took time to explain what he inspected and did not try to sell me things I did not need. He fixed my loose gutters and provided photos of my roof from his inspection.

Everything went excellent. Arrived and did the job as expected.

They did a great job. Prompt, professional. They actually told me my gutters are working fine. I expected them to try sell me new gutters. Great experience overall.

Ben did a fantastic job!

Ben was very professional and responsive. Showed up on time to inspect roof. With my house being bigger and steep, there's an extra fee, which I expected. Ben took picture of the roof and showed me the condition of my roof, which is good for the most part except some shingles were missing. Ben did an excellent job with the roof. Very honest with the condition of the roof and not try to sell me anything unnecessary. Definitely recommend Great Roofing for roofing needs.

He came out and told me that for what I needed, it would have been a waste of time and money to have the deal done because I didn?t need what was covered in the Deal, which I really appreciated, but I requested a refund.

Very professional and timely. Noticed a very difference in the rooms above where the insulation was installed. Well worth it.

We told him we could not afford the extra cost and wanted him to just add the 5 bags we paid for to the insulation already in the attic. He said he could not do that. I then asked him for a refund and said I felt he was guilty of "Bait and switch." He blamed Angie's List and refused to give me a refund. I am planning to report both companies to the Attorney General's office if I don't get a full refund, and they can sort out who was at fault. I AM FURIOUS!!!

I chose not to follow up with the provider because his determination of what was needed to remedy the situation was much more than what I wanted to spend. He did not install the insulation that was offered in the initial Angie's List promotion.
