I called on a Tuesday morning to request an estimate on removal of a bees' nest. Representative was pleasant enough, price was OK and turnaround time not bad (48 hours). Service was scheduled for that Thursday at 9am (and it was necessary for someone to be at home). Wednesday evening I received a call that they were unable to come out the next morning and they asked if the service be rescheduled for Friday at 8am. As the bees' nest was in an area where my children and other neighborhood children play and I was anxious to have it removed, I replied it was fine (even though it meant I had to re-arrange a prior appointment). 8am came and went the following day with no exterminator. I contacted the company Friday afternoon to inquire as to why nobody showed up. The woman (and I could tell by her voice that this was the same woman I spoke to all three times) acted confused and then told me that "Oh, we have it marked that the appointment was rescheduled to NEXT Tuesday at 8am". At this point I explained that I was disappointed and could not wait an entire week from the time of my original call for the service to be performed. I also explained that I was canceling the service and would contact somebody else. Although the woman was not rude, she did not apologize nor try to accommodate me rather than lose my business. After that experience I made some more phone calls and did find a gentleman to come out within 24 hours and for $20 cheaper! I'm anxious to find out how the service goes and (hopefully) provide a positive report on angieslist.com!
