He also did the same thing with my daughter and I just had to go buy us new computers.
Description of Work: He was supposed to be working on the computer and he continued to say something was wrong with the computers and he was not able to fix it. He was supposed to quote me on a new computer and that took 2 months. He is slow at getting back to people.

Terrible service and a fraud in the end! I took my computer to this business on May 22, 2013 (a Wednesday), because it wouldn't start up. He took a quick look at it and couldn't diagnose it on the spot. He told me he would call me the next day and let me know what he found out. I didn't hear anything from him on Thursday, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and called him Friday. He said he hadn't found the problem, and that he would call us with an estimate before he did anything to repair it. We waited until the following Wednesday to contact him again, and my husband was told that the parts were ordered and would be there in a day or two and that he had already talked to me about it. This upset me because I had not talked to him - I still had no idea what was even wrong with the computer. We called back Friday and could not get anything on the phone other than clicking. The following Monday (June 3rd) my husband paid him a visit to get answers. We were then told what the problem was (bad motherboard), and asked him about the parts and he stated that he didn't order anything because he couldn't reach us. Neither my husband nor myself had any missed calls from him at this point. They are obviously horribly disorganized. So we were given ballpark estimates on what it would cause to re-work the current motherboard, or get a new or refurbished board. He hadn't even looked around to find better estimates than "oh they normally run around X dollars". We went ahead and ordered a refurbished motherboard and he said he should have it in and done by the end of the week. He did not get it ordered the same day we talked to him, and he decided on his own to only pay for standard shipping to keep the cost down. I believe that he should have paid for the quickest shipping possible and not charged us shipping due to the time he had our computer. I got a call from him at approximately 9pm on June 7, and he did not leave a message. When I called back, all I got was clicking. We were not able to get ahold of him again until my husband went to visit him again. He didn't get it until the week of the 10th and didn't have it together until the 14th. My husband went to the business on the 13th and it was not together, and my husband demanded everything back plus the part so we could take it elsewhere. He said he would have it together in an hour and he would call us. We didn't hear back, so my husband met him at the business on Friday morning (June 14). It was done and we paid about $150 and it took over 3 weeks for something I was told should have taken a week. Then about a month later I was installing Windows updates to the computer and got a message that my copy of Windows was not genuine. I called customer service for Microsoft Windows and after being bounced around, I was told that a hacked product key was used in my install of Windows that occurred when 2 Quick Clicks had my computer. I was then given instructions on how to enter in the original and correct product key that was on a sticker conveniently placed on the bottom of my laptop. So not only is he terrible at customer service and horribly disorganized, he is a fraud as well, and too lazy to call or look for a product key. I will NEVER go back and I am telling everyone I know to never go to him.
Description of Work: They diagnosed an issue with the computer starting. It was found that it was the motherboard. They replaced the motherboard as a result.
