Hired Greg to install new roof. His crew arrived on time and did a great job. He communicated the entire process on times he was to arrive and start the job. Also came back in evenings when cooler to work. Very happy with the Roof. Crew cleaned up all debris when job was completed

Company submitted 2 bids. One to replace the garage roof and one to replace the house roof. We wanted to hire him to do both. Due to his lack of timely responsiveness, we retained another roofer for the garage and kept Kerns for the roof. After a week of begging Greg to pick up the down payment, since we were closing on a home sale, he finally showed up. He was visibly upset to see that the roof had already been done. Said he's go out to his car to call his partner and drove off. I would have been fine if he said he couldn't do the job for whatever reason, however, the utter lack of professionalism is stunning. He bid the jobs separately so there wasn't a question of losing profit. Don't hire.

After the initial contact I was told someone would come out and do an estimate on my gutter replacement job. I asked to be called ahead of time so I could be present and talk through the job. I have not been contacted since. A follow up call several weeks later has not been returned.

This was one of the most professional contractors that I have dealt with. From start to finish he was always in contact and kept me informed of the timeline and was punctual and courteous. I have already recommend Greg to my family and friends.

Greg was phenomenal during the entire process. We were trying to get this done in a short amount of time because of our first child's due date, so Greg worked long nights and on both Saturday and Sunday to complete the job. He called us every day to let us know what he had done that day and what his plan was for the next day, which allowed us to adequately prepare. From a cost standpoint, Greg provided us with an estimate that included an allowance for many of our fixtures and accessories. At the completion of the job, he came in $5 over the estimate because he ended up having to tear the old tile floor up instead of tiling over the old one because he saw a lot of loose and cracked tiles. His allowances for fixtures and accessories was very reasonable, however, which allowed us to still stay so close to the original estimate. I would strongly recommend Greg and Kerns Home Improvement to anyone. In fact, I already have!

They were wonderful, everything was as promised, we would certainly use them again. I would highly recommend them.
