Description of Work: Repair leaky toilet. Also trouble shot problems with the valves on my refrigerator. We will hire them back to fix the water line in the basement once the refrigerator problems are resolved. We've used this company before and they have been A+ every time.

Description of Work: Scheduled appointment 2 week prior. The service date was Nov. 30th, "EARLY" morning.. I waited from 8 AM until someone called at 1:30 PM. They mumbled about 2 other jobs that ran "late". Asked if i was home at that moment,,,,I answered yes but told him that I waited for 5 1/2 hours for him. He replied " well give me a call when I have time". I replied NO, I won't be spending my money with Schaefer Plumbing. Not even an apology! What is ironic is this company was my first attempt using Angie's List. Not sure if I made the right decision using Angie's List. This company was rated very good by your subcribers. Not sure if Angie's List is more reliable than BBB.

Description of Work: Replaced shower head and fawcets. $315.00. Worker tried to use one of the old parts around the shower head until my son noticed and I asked him about it. Said it was left out of the box and then when and got a new part.

+ -1 moreThe new sink that came with my new counter top was 2 inches deeper than the old one making it impossible to reconnect the drain. They had to cut down the main pipe and re-configure the drains to fit the new level. Everything went well with only one trip for parts. The faucet insert replacement was an after thought which they had on the truck.
Description of Work: Replaced all drain pipes and connected to new sink and disposal. Replaced washerless faucet unit.

+ -1 moreI've known Tom (the owner) for over 5 years. He (or his employees) has/have done plumbing repairs at my house and at my in-laws during this timeframe. The work is always prompt, courteous and professional. This call was for a leaking water heater. I called and spoke with one of Tom's employees on a Saturday morning. He installed a new water heater by the early afternoon.
Description of Work: Replaced a leaking water heater with a new water heater. Hauled away the old water heater.

+ -1 moreI had a leaky water heater and received a couple different quotes from others that seemed a little to high. Called them and Tom told me that it was $700 installed. At the moment I could not go wrong and I didn't. They were there promptly the next day with the new tank and the two gentle were very courteous and professional. Don't know what else to tell as all went smoothly and everything is working fine.
Description of Work: They installed a new water heater along with removing the old leaky one. In addition they install a few new vents and fixed the on/off valve.

+ -1 moreTHEY ARE A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. THEY ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HONEST. THEY WORK HARD TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, AND THEY FIX IT. THEY HAD TO DIG UP OUR YARD TO FIX SOME OF THE PIPES THAT CONNECTED TO THE HOUSE. THEY WERE CONSIDERATE OF THE DAMAGE THEY WERE DOING AND HAD THE HOLES REPLACED VERY QUICKLY.
