Nick came out and gave me an estimate for installing a kitchen light and an outdoor light. (They charge $69 for the assessment/estimate) I thought the price was reasonable, so I scheduled the job. Nick and Dom arrived today as scheduled and were very polite and professional, and they cleaned up well after the job. I am very happy with the work and will use them again.

Called 6/20/19. First available appointment 7/11/19. I found another company who came 6/27/19 for free estimate and they did repair the light. Aside from having to wait 3 weeks, they charge $69.00 service fee to come out. They also do electrical house check at that time.

They came out I want to estimate it march 21st and were back on april 2nd to do the repairs. Power is now working just fine with no issues. They were polite, professional, explained the showed what the problem was and got the job done the same day as they came out on the 2nd. Would definitely hire again.

Streb Electric contacted me through email right away after filling out the quote request at Angie's List website. In fact, out of four companies to which I requested a consultation, they were the first to respond and the easiest to work with. They charge $65 service fee, regardless if the call is for quoting or for performing an actual job, but unlike others, they have fixed prices and charge for the job/project, not hourly rates. We set an appointment, they came and explained the service and provided a quote, then we set a date for the repairs. They arrived on time on both occasions and called first to let us know they were on their way and to provide ETA. They did a good job and explained what they were doing and after the work was done, their warranty. I will surely use their service in the future. P.S. They have a membership service option. For a monthly fee they can waive the service charge (saving $65 each time they come) and do a house inspection. It also provides subscribers with a discount over their price list. I would recommend this if you live in an old house with a lot of little details to fix (like ours).

Streb personnel were thorough, hard working, and knowledgeable. They rewired almost all outlets on two floors of our house, updating very old wiring. The work was done efficiently and neatly. The also installed a new interior light and did a variety of other elecrical work. In addition, they added a new exterior light and an outdoor GFI, among other projects. We have found other electrical companies to be less than knowledgeable and slow to complete work. Streb's employees were very knowledgeable and work was done when promised and completed quickly.

Great! I called the company on Tuesday and was given an appointment for the next day first thing in the morning. The electrician called me to let me know when they were on their way and arrived on time. They put on their shoe covers, went to work and cleaned up after themselves.

Ryan was punctual. He explained the cost of everything before he began and again at the end. He inspected the entire house for any potential electrical problems. He cleaned up the debris and took the trash with him. I definitely will schedule Streb for further electrical services.

They were unable to meet our time frame, but were completely up front about their schedule and sympathetic in their communications. They are acted with exemplary professionalism in our brief interaction.

They called me right away, and gave me an appointment . Bill the owner came out, arrived on time and he was wonderful! He carefully explained things to me , gave good recommendations and was very professional.

An unusual amount of ice pulled down one of our gutters and destroyed out electrical service entrance. I called the electric company who came out and apologized but could not fix the issue and had to disconnect service for safety. I called Streb the next morning at 8AM (recommended by a family member), the electrician was out by about 9-9:30 and had everything professionally replaced/repaired in about 2 hours. The owner got a permit on short notice and helped us to get things done quickly and inspected so we could get power reconnected that day. Price was a little high I’d say (flat rate and I think we were at the lower end of the amount of work that determined that rate) but work was well done and they definitely helped us out in a pinch — it was 40 degrees that day thankfully but still quite cold with no elec to run our furnace. Would recommend to others.

I can’t say enough great things about Streb. As a first-time homeowner with a limited budget and a 90+ year-old house and tons of old wiriring/potential electrical issues, I was so grateful to work with a company that was honest, offered upfront pricing and was incredibly professional. I got several quotes from other electricians before deciding on Streb. Streb’s prices were fair. They weren’t the lowest quote, but I guarantee they are the best value for their (still competitive) price. They truly deliver 5-star service. Rich spent 30 minutes walking through my entire house when he came to give the free quote, and Rich and Ryan were a pleasure to work with on the day they came to complete the projects. They were extremely friendly, thorough, explained everything, delivered high-quality workmanship and cleaned up when they were done. They helped me prioritize which projects were most important for safety reasons, and which projects could wait. They did more than I expected and there were zero surprises in the final cost (it was exactly as they quoted me and they even took care of a few small things free of charge). I highly recommend Streb and will hire them for all future projects.

Highly satisfied with Streb Electric. We had a laundry list of electrical work to be done and they accomplished it all for a very fair price. They arrived when they said they would and were professional and courteous.

They did a good job on the electrical, but fan was noisy. They did come back out, though, to take care of it.

The individuals I worked with were very professional and helpful. They explained what the problem was and looked for the most effective solution. I was pleased and look forward to using Streb Electric again.

First: The guys were great, punctual, and accommodating and we will have them back for more work. Two gentlemen were sent to the house (arrived on time) and were there for ~5-6 hours. Our house is older ( built ~1925) and as we know older homes can present interesting issues. The only down side was they ran into a couple problems and tried to address them with out first checking with us (my wife is very particular about aesthetics). On the first floor kitchen they cut a hole in the plaster only to find a pipe and had to cut a second. On the second floor bathroom they removed a tile only to find a situation which initially precluded them from mounting the outlet flush to the wall. The included pictures show the initial results. When my wife saw the initial results of the protruding outlet she said “No! If it can’t be fixed, undo it!”. As you can see in the pictures it was fixed to my wife’s satisfaction and they adjusted the price down. They placed a “blank” over the additional hole in the kitchen wall. As I mentioned before we will have them back for more work and that, is the best review that I could possibly give 😃

Well Work completed in a timely manor.

They called ahead to let me know what time they would be arriving. They did a very professional job - used cable wall plates so it looks very neat and they cleaned up afterwards.

Streb was timely in providing a quote. Initially I thought it was high but learned after receiving other quotes that it was fair.The two young men showed up on time, performed the work quickly and thoroughly and left the place nice and clean.
