Monthly Upkeep

The company was very professional and timely. Office staff was extremely helpful in making sure I knew exactly what to expect.

If you want to waste your time and have a so called "handyman" company not do a single thing for you, then go with these guys. I have some repairs that I need done at a rental property I own, and when I typed in handyman, on Angi, Monthly Upkeep was one of the 2 companies at the top of the page. I decided to use Angi's request a quote function, and again Monthly Upkeep came up. As some of you may know, when you put in to request a quote, you have to give a bit of info like, what the work is that you need to have done, and where the house is located, etc. In the early part of April I posted my request for a quote with several contractors, Monthly Upkeep being one of them. Most of them didn't answer back, but Monthly Upkeep did. Even though on Monthly Upkeep's Angi page it says that estimates are free, I was told, in a text message, that I could either take some pictures and send it to them, or they could come out to the house, but that there would be a $100 estimate fee that would go towards the job...that doesn't sound like a free to me, so I tried to send them the pictures. Here's the thing...if you list that your estimates are free, and then, when you contact them they say, well we have 2 ways of doing estimates, and one of them is free and the other isn't, then your estimates aren't really free. The page info is a bit misleading and appears to be a bit of the old bate and switch. Getting back to it, on the 9th of April I tried, through text message, to send them 33 pictures that the tenant sent to me. 6 days later I found out that the pictures didn't go through. Apparently you can't send a batch of 33 photos at one time, so that's my fault, and I resent them in smaller batches. 6 days after my initial attempt, I received a text telling me they received the photos. Again, this delay was not their fault, but from the 17th of April til the 26th of April (9 days later), being lead on to believe that they'd get an estimate to me, and then not doing it, and saying that they're not taking the job is their fault. Within these 9 days there were follow up messages from them asking questions about some of the photos and more detail about the job, so I'm thinking, great, they want to be as accurate as possible. On the 20th of April I was told that they're working on the estimate and should have it to me by the afternoon of the 21st, so imagine my surprise to wake up this morning (April 26th) and receiving a message saying, "I passed this along to our manager and unfortunately this is too far from our office with how busy we currently are. Sorry for the delay". Information about the location of the job (25 minutes away from them) was given in the info I gave through Angi's quote request system. These people have totally wasted my time. If only bigger jobs is what they do, they shouldn't call their company Monthly Upkeep.

These guys were great! They were on time, neat, cleaned up after themselves, disposed of trash and very pleasant and checked with me to ensure things would be done as I anticipated. I’ve got knee, back, hip and neck problems and these are the guys I will be calling for additional work !

Fence now opens and closes much smoother and sections that were rusty were cut and replaced. These fellows can do just about anything.

I needed some outdoor outlets put in for lights as well as some work done in my bathroom. Ryan and his crew came out within a week of calling and got the job done in less than a day. They did an amazing job, we respectful and cleaned up after themselves. Would I recommend them to everyone and have them out for other projects as well.

They were great! They came in next day and mounted my TV (65in) over the fireplace within an hour. My mount was the MantleMount 540 - a pretty complicated one. They quickly learned it and got it up there efficiently and effectively. Plus, they made sure to check different specifications of mine to make sure I wanted certain aspects, positioning, etc. All around great job - worth every penny. Thanks guys!

Spensir and Ryan were extremely attentive to detail on the full bathroom remodel for one of my properties. He told me it would be done in three weeks, and in my case he was done in two. He even threw in a few extras for good measure. I highly recommend Monthly Upkeep.

I delegated the responsibility of up-keeping my rentals in Cleveland Heights. I purchased the properties occupied. Once the tenants moved out we were able to go in, make some renovations and re-rented the property for $150 more than it was rented for.

I needed some painting done, and with my busy schedule, I wanted to hire out. Monthly up Keep did quality work within the promised time. The workers are professional and honest.

Ryan and Sean were great - prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. I recently moved and the movers lost all the screws for both of my beds as well as for my dresser mirror! But Mandy advised me on what to purchase and Ryan and Sean had no problem making everything work. We also discussed some future work I'd like them to do.

Went great. They called promptly and arrived when stated. The work was completed efficiently and correctly.

They came across a few issues, because the old doorbell had been removed during a remodel years ago. They came up with a solution and came back to finish the job a couple days later, and even fixed an outlet that they didn't have to fix and didn't charge me additional. They were professional, friendly, on time and great communicators. they cleaned up after themselves and followed up after to ensure I was satisfied and to see if I had any questions.

They did so well that I asked them to repair an output hose from my sump pump and give me a price on a minor landscaping project, So far they have been punctual, efficient and knowledgeable. Also their prices have been quite reasonable. I would recommend them without reservation,

Spensir has done at least 5 small jobs for me on my rentals in Cleveland Heights. As soon as I know I have a problem I go straight to Spensir.

They showed up exactly on time and were very professional. They walked me through everything that they were going to do, as well how long it would take to complete. When they were done, they made sure I was satisfied with the completed job and thoroughly cleaned up.

Everything was fantastic! I've used Spensir and his team a few times in the past. They renovated my spare bathroom. The price was in-line with his competitors, but he communicated much better than everyone else. He answered my calls and emails. He also provided his estimate immediately after the survey. I wouldn't hesitate to hire again. I've already referred to my family and friends.

The crew showed up on time, got the job done in a timely fashion and left the jobsite (our home) very clean. Highly recommend this organization. Easy to work with and very affordable. Will most definitely use again in future.
