I described my tv problem and was informed it would cost more to fix it than buy a new tv. I was really happy to find this out BEFORE they were to have come out. This saved me time and money. Also, the return call came in less than five minutes.

Called provider at 8:00a.m., got a call back in 30 minutes. Joe came out around noon, replaced the blown fuse, and then took the time to go over the new appliances I just bought for our new house. Super nice guy.

Description of Work: TV was not able to work correctly. Tech knew as soon as he saw the tv in operation that the side controls were the problem. He opened the set and disconnected the offending module. All worked correctly with the remote. | |Tech was prompt and knew what to do? I could expect no more.

I had a bunch of problems with my dryer and he fixed all of them, it is working great now. He also noticed a possible gas leak in my basement and advised me to get it fixed. He was very thorough and did a great job. I was really appreciative that he went the extra mile to make sure everything was good and safe.

We are sorry if you are disatisfied with our service. We quoted a phone estimate (sight unseen) to install all equipment that you claimed to have, to complete the installation with the exception of possibly a mast. You had also stated that the wiring was in place, which was not, and, you had new wire in the event that it was needed. At our visit, it became apparent that unfortunately, you did not have the correct or sufficient equipment to complete the job properly. In fact you were then requesting two insufficient antennas be installed. If we had installed the equipment it would not have performed properly or to expectation, which would have disappointed you, and you would have paid for something that would not have worked correctly, or to our expectation. We quoted you via e-mail the cost to install, in the proper means, to complete the job satisfactorily. Also, you were not charged for our visit, and the delay, as you may recall was weather related. The advice Joe provided worked and asked that I called him the next day to see how it went. I left him a message thanking him for his advice and would plan to call him in the future if it should happen again.

The refrigerator was less than two years old and would have needed expensive repair service. Heartland informed me that it might still be under warranty for the particular type of problem involved, which I did not know, and initiated discussions with the manufacturer. It turned out that the problem was still covered by an obscure warranty, and the manufacturer gave me a full refund of the purchase price. Outstanding service from Heartland!

Joe was punctual, professional and very friendly. He was honest on my freezer problem (warped door). Adjusted it the best he could. Then only charged his show up fee which was the least he could charge. Joe was very informative and direct. He has now become my appliance repair man in any future problems.

The whole experience was great from their recommendation of purchasing the part to coming into my home to replace the part and actually showing me how to replace this lamp (part) as a future reference. The service charge was very reasonable and they did a great job installing the part. I previously contacted other TV repair technicians and they wanted over $200 for the same service Heartland performed. If you do not mind purchasing the part and having Heartland install the new part you will save a lot of money.
Description of Work: Serviced my 55" Panasonic projector TV. I contacted them regarding a message that was displayed on my TV screen ""Lamp need to be replaced and to be reset" They suggested that I purchase the lamp (part) online, then call them when I received the part and they would replace the part for just service call.

I contacted Joseph to have him come out. He was making comments about how high the pitch of the roof was, and that he'd need a 50' ladder, but only had a 40' one. He seemed nice, but by the time we were done he told me he didn't have a bracket to install the antenna, but that he had another antenna that was better that he would order. I wanted it installed rather quickly, but he said he wasn't sure he could complete the job within my time parameters. He thought he could do the job just a bit past my desired date. He never called back and when I finally got a hold of him he had more excuses about why he couldn't do the job but he was still working on it. Now more than 8 weeks later I still haven't had the work completed or heard from him within the past month.

We visited (Member name removed) to install the new antenna, however it became clear that the due to the structure of the customer's house. Also due to the location of the service electrrical lines to the house it was clear that we did not have the proper equipment to safely complete the antenna installation. Also, the gutter was not properly fastened to the house which also made it un-safe to proceed by ladder. (Member name removed) was present and observed the attempts. Offered customer alternate options to install the antenna in the attic however, the customer did not want to access the attic. A possibility of installing the antenna on an eave was also not possible due to availability of special mounting. Advised customer we could not perform this installation safely.

Joe was honest and a pleasure to speak with. I especially liked the fact that he did not try and get a service call out of me for a problem that he knew was not worth fixing. If I ever do need ANY appliance repair in the future, I will definitely be contacting Joe.

When I called him he told me to fiddle with the channel button and try to get it to channel 3 or 4 to see if it would get the signal. That turned out to be the problem. He was extremely polite and instead of telling me that he would come out and charge me, he helped me over the phone for free. He was a joy to talk too. I would recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: I purchased a Samsung dishwasher November of last yr. It worked for two weeks before going bad. When I called factory I was given the name of another service co. Weeks went by even a HOLIDAY without a working unit before I complained and had to take both to the BBB. Result was a new dishwasher, my troubles were over. No that is not how the story ends:) The new one had an identical problem so I called around and found a BLESSING with Heartland. They told me what the problem , pleasant on the phone. They helped me deal with Samsung and got the parts in when they said they would. They had it fixed in a matter of 20 minutes when others were clueless. They are on top of their knowledge game. I would recommend them in a heartbeat! The original problem was unit would not go on. If you reset your main breaker it would work for a load or two. It was an engineering flaw that Heartland knew about and was able to repair to complete satisfaction
