Great attitude and very professional. There were other contractor's working on other areas of the house and they worked around them without and hassles. They took care to drape furniture and keep any mess to a minimum. A couple areas required matching existing plastering patterns and those look great. Completed the job on time and on budget.

Mr. Hatcher responded to my call promptly and worked to get us added into his schedule, even though he was clearly busy. He also worked closely with the plumber to make sure the right areas were exposed. He and his polite assistant worked efficiently and did a great job. They were careful to prevent plaster dust from moving into uninvolved areas of the house and cleaned up completely when done. When the walls had been repaired, they looked good as new.

The job was done really well. The kitchen ceiling is beautiful. It looks pristine. You can't tell where the recent water damage was or where the botched plastering (done by the previous elderly plasterer a few years ago) was either. You can't tell that the walls of the third floor have ever been disturbed. Mr. Hatcher made it very easy for me to prime and paint. He recommended a really good primer. The job took less time than he thought, so he charged me $600, which was lower than his original estimate of $640. Also, as a homeowner and landlord (this work was done on the tenant side of my duplex) I appreciate that Mr. Hatcher is bonded and insured. Plasterers don't get licensed in Ohio.

Carl provided me with an estimate of the work that needed to be done. We decided on when the work would be undertaken. They arrived as planned, proceeded to cover furniture and hang plastic sheeting to prevent dust from going into other areas, and then got busy removing old plaster and preparing the area for the new plaster. The work went much faster than I expected and the results look wonderful. I am very pleased and would recommend HATCHER PLASTERING to anyone.

The ceiling needed two coats of material. Carl and his assistant did the work over two days. The result is excellent! They were very careful to keep dirt in the work area, covered everything in the bathroom and the floor outside the bathroom and did an excellent clean up job. I plan to use Carl for future plaster repair jobs and recommend him highly!

Carl and his assistant arrived promptly, were very pleasant and accommodating, and kept a clean workspace. They boxed in around a plumbing repair, plastered the holes, and replaced ceiling tiles. They even rehung a kitchen cupboard for us.

Excellent. Carl came out to give me a bid after the plumbing job was complete. He called back and came out promptly. After discussing with my husband, we booked for about a week out. Carl came with an assistant. It took a few hours with dry time, etc. He also installed the flange for the shower head. Very satisfied with the work and finished result. Now we just have to paint. He helped us get quickly to the last phase of this small project.

I can hardly express how happy we are with Carl's work, from start to finish.The day of the estimate, he and his assistant arrived on the dot. They impessed us with their professionalism and thoroughness, spending enough time looking up through the spaces in the metal ceiling with flashlights to get an accurate picture of the work to be done. The estimate was quite reasonable, given the size of the job. Carl told us when they would start, explained exactly how the work would progress, and how long it would take...and he proved accurate on all counts. On the appointed day, the crew arrived right on time (as they did every day) and got to work laying down and hanging up protection for the room. Plaster demolition is messy, dusty work, and we ended up with NO plaster dust anywhere else in the house. The debris disappeared from our property immediately. The crew consistently worked hard and kept on schedule. They were unfailingly pleasant and professional. I particularly liked how enthusiastic they were to be restoring the room to its original beauty. The end result is simply beautiful. On the last day they cleaned up so thoroughly the room was almost spotless. And Carl discounted our bill because some molding repair work he anticipated wasn't needed. The work is guaranteed, so if anything goes wrong they will return to fix it (which we do not expect to need).

Carl Hatcher came on time as scheduled for both the estimate and the work. The repairs look great; he was very efficient, pleasant and cleaned up completely afterward. It did not cost as much or take as long as I was anticipating. I would definitely call him again and recommend him.

Carl worked with my schedule and was very responsive when first called. They showed up when they were supposed to, and did a great job. When they were done, the clean up job was fantastic.

The problem is we have been in this house for forty years and he fixed it up. He left a couple of holes, but it wasn t a simple thing and they did the job what they said they would do. I thought it s a very fair price and I was very happy with them.

Carl is an expert and a professional. Always punctual, always clean. I trust him with a key to my house. Carl is not a "drywaller." He uses setting type plaster so there is very little dust. Dust comes from ripping out old materials (if that is needed). Carl will save and repair existing plaster. Yes this process is more expensive but you can throw a golf ball at his finished plaster. Try that with dry wall! And you won't need to worry about taped seams or cracked drywall.

Carl is pleasant, professional and upfront. He sent an estimate within 24 hours of his visit and was able to start the work shortly thereafter. We have planned for him to return to do some additional work. We evaluated three plasterers and their prices were all in the same range.

Carl and his assistant spend 1 1/2 days for this project. They made sure to cover the floors and any furniture that hadn't been moved out. I watched Carl at work for part of the time and he seems to be just one of a few who do it the right way. There ended up being much more work than what Carl had estimated in the second bedroom, but he was very reasonable with the final billing. I will definitely use Carl again for future plastering in our home. It's nice to finally find a contractor who is respectful of your home and property and is a pleasure to work with.

They are wonderful workers. I had three other companies come in and I was very impressed with Hatcher. He is a total craftsman. The job was done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
