DFL Electric, INC. did and OUTSTANDING job! We appreciate excellent service and Don provided it.

I awoke on Saturday to find that the blower on my furnace was notworking and therefore there was no A/C. There was no power to the furnace/blower controls at all. My A/C tech arrived after a call and determined that the breaker controling the furnace had gone bad and needed tobe replaced. Unfortunately he did not have the correct breaker and could not obtain one until the following Monday. The temperature that Saturday was heading to 98 degrees. I started calling electricians but no one was in or no answer. I found DLF Electric at Angie's List and called their number. Don returned my call shortly and told me he would be over in an hour after he finished his current job. He arrived about 40 minutes later, diagnosed the problem and then after explaining to me what he was doing he replaced the defective breaker. I like it when the craftsman explains what he is going to do and why and why the replacement part is acceptable to use. His price was more than reasonable for an emergency call on a Saturday. I would highly recommend him for anyone needing electrical work. I will use him again when the need arises.

Don was great. Came out the next day and fixed it quickly. Very friendly, very competent.

They were very good to work with. The electricians were very professional, cleaned up after themselves and were very courteous. The stayed at it and finished the work in a shorter time period than estimated. The inspector passed the work after a very short review, in a city where the inspectors are known to be very thorough.

Called Don Friedland and requested an estimate for backyard outside lighting. Don came out promptly, examined my needs, and was very helpful in recommending a solution to install outside lighting and an outdoor outlet. The work was scheduled and Don and crew arrived promptly. The work was excellent, all emplyees were professional, and cleanup was better than expected. The lighting area covers a detached garage area and a back doorway and is just great. I would not hesitate to call Don for any future electrical projects.

Over the weekend we had a massive roof slide the ripped off the gutter and sent it down onto the main electric line coming into the house. We didn't lose power,but the line was damaged and sagging. I got Don Friedland's number from a friend who is a contractor and called him Saturday night. He called back that night and fit me into his schedule on Monday (Feb 7th). He came out and inspected the line and set up an appointment for Wed morning to repair the line. Due to another emergency repair, he and his crew were several hours late arriving, but when they did arrive, they got the work done quickly and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. The main electric line is in better shape than it was before the accident and I feel very confident in the quality of work that was done. Don arrived with his crew and got them started and then came back at the end to check on things. I like a company where the owner stays in touch with me instead of just dropping off a crew. His crew was polite and skilled and I would be comfortable having them work in the house again. I feel that DLF Electric's pricing is very fair and competitive and the quality of the work is top-notch. I will be calling Don in the future to complete some additional electrical work that I have gotten a quote from him to do.

Very responsive and professional. DLF came by the recommendation of two other individuals. Don did not disappoint. He was prompt, courteous and incredibly flexible. He worked with a very compressed timeline, offered valid observations, and even came back during the city re-inspection in order to make sure there were no problems. I would definitely use DLF again.

Don and his helper were professional and worked quickly (although a bit chatty). He carried most supplies needed and quickly obtained the few items needed to complete. The helper did most of the work saving money and was supervised by Don the licensed electrician and owner.

Excellent! Don quickly answered my initial call and came out the same day to quote the work. He and his helper(s) came on the day they promised and worked very hard -- even into extra hours in order to complete the work. Work quality is very high. Inspection went smoothly. Very attentive, professional and my electrician of choice from now on.

I was very impressed by Don. He was punctual, took a little time for introductions, and got to work. One of my interior outlets wasn't working. He looked at another oulet across the room thinking they might be on the same circuit. As it turned out that oulet had shorted out and there was a small fire in the box behind that outlet that had self-extinguished. He replaced that oulet and both were then operable. I also had an oulet in the garage that didn't work that he also fixed. I will bring him back to do some other wiring I need done this summer. I highly recommed DLF Electric.

I called DLF to get an estimate on electrical work. My first phone call was returned; however, owner was supposed to call back and setup a time to come out, but he never called. I called and left another message but never heard from DLF again. Update 12/15/2011: I updated my review after recently reading my original review posted almost two years ago and the owner's response. I based my most recent review on our initial conversation. Sorry for your health issues.

I was very impressed with the service. Don was very kind (even to my dogs!) and explained everything he was going to do ahead of time and gave me a written estimate. After he did the work, he again reviewed what he had completed in detail. Very down to earth and approachable. He answered all my questions and did not make me feel like he was rushed to leave. Very knowledgeable. I will be using DLF again for more work this summer!

He showed up when he said he would. He also reassured me that if I was not happy with the way the outdoor lighting looked at night, he would come back (which I didn't have to have him do). Overall, he was very fair and very efficient.

Don and his assistant did a great job, as always. They came right on time, went right to work, and everything was working when I got home at the end of the day. The cleanup was great also. We've used Don for several other fairly large projects and he always does a great job. He's very experienced and knowledgeable and is very good at recommending alternatives that might be less expensive.

Don and David arrived right on time and got right to work. They were very professional, personable, and humorous. One of the fans needed a support put in so that one took a little longer than the other two. I would definitely hire them in the future.

Don was recommended by my real estate agent when a home inspector found some 'questionable' electrical items in my basement. Don took the time to speak to the buyer and assure the buyer that the problems were not serious and could be resolved in less than an hour's time. Don met me at my house on time for the initial estimate, then again when the work was performed.

Don, the owner, made it convenient for me to get the job done. He had me leave the broken parts on my front porch so that he or one of his workers could come to do the job without me being home. As the temperature has been too low to paint, he will make another trip to touch up the light.

My experience with DFL was pleasant from start to finish. I would suggest them for anyone in need of some electrical work.

Don was very helpful. When he said he would be there he was. We did not have to wait long for him to schedule. I think he went above what I expected of him. He ran a line with the option of adding a microwave in the near future. His work was professional. They cleaned up after the job was completed. I also felt I was fairly charged for the work. I am very happy with the job and will be calling them again soon. I would HIGHLY recommend them to everyone in need of electrical work.

They were punctual and installed new parts right away and the light worked when they were finished.

OWNER DID THE WORK. HE WAS VERY GOOD AND EFFICIENT. HE COULD SEE WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND DID IT. HAD TO COME TWICE TO REPLACE ITEMS. I HAD A CHOICE TO PURCHASE ITEMS NEEDED AT STORE OR FOR HIM TO DO SO. I ASKED HIM TO BUY THEM. HE FIXED EVERYTHING QUICKLY. BECAUSE OF MOTOR, HE HAD TO COME BACK THE NEXT DAY. FOR 2 HRS.PLUS SERVICE CALL, COST WAS $110. FOR MATERIALS, 49.76

DON INSTALLED TWO KITCHEN LIGHT FIXTURES. ALTHOUGH HE HAD TO CANCEL DUE TO A JOB RUNNING OVER, HE STILL CAME OUT LATER THAT SAME EVENING TO DO THE JOB AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. WE PLAN ON USING HIM FOR FUTURE PROJECTS.

DON IS HONEST, DOES GREAT WORK AND CLEANS UP AFTER THE WORK IS DONE.

DON DID A GREAT JOB - HE REPLACED A CIRCUIT AND AN OUTLET, AS WELL AS CORRECTING SOME VIOLATIONS SO WE COULD SELL OUR HOME IN CLEVELAND HTS. HE WAS QUICK AND CLEANED UP AFTER THE WORK WAS DONE.
