Description of Work: Installed new sewer line and eliminated existing septic system.

Description of Work: A new 6 inch plastic drain pipe from the bottom of the basement to the street. This was a distance of 130 feet. Footer drains on two sides were flushed out and new pipe was installed from the footer drains and gutter drains to the 6 inch pipe. New clean out pipes were also installed.

Description of Work: We had a cement pad for our old ac unit. He had moved it to the outside of our back door. It had become uneven and had caused the storm door to buckle. He reset the pad and fixed the door. He also put in stepping stones leading away from the door. Lastly, he removed the cement pieces that used to catch the water from our downspouts as well as some other stones.

Description of Work: REDESIGNED STORM SEWERS AND SUMP PIT WATERFLOW UNDERNEATH BASEMENT FLOOR. REDESIGNED STORM SEWERS AND WATERFLOW 8 FEET UNDERGROUND, NEXT TO FRONT PORCH STEPS. REDESIGNED WATERFLOW FOR BASEMENT WATERPROOFING DRAIN TILES. THOUSANDS OF GALLONS OF RAINWATER/GROUNDWATER WAS PREVIOUSLY DRAINING INTO SUMP PIT. IT WAS PUMPED UPHILL INTO OUTSIDE DOWNSPOUT SEWERS, 4 FEET UNDERGROUND, AROUND TO THE FRONT OF HOUSE, AND DUMPED BY GRAVITY 8 FEET UNDERGROUND, AND OUT TO STREET. SUMP PUMP RAN ONCE A MINUTE DURING HEAVY RAIN. I CALLED IT "NIAGARA FALLS". THIS PROJECT WENT BEYOND MONEY. NOTHING LESS THAN MY SANITY WAS AT STAKE. IT WAS EITHER THIS OR SELL THE HOUSE. HAD A BATTERY BACKUP PUMP, BUT DURING A POWER OUTAGE, PUMP WOULD DIE IN 20 MINUTES. AT THAT POINT, BASEMENT QUICKLY FILLS UP WITH WATER TO THE RAFTERS. THANKFULLY THAT DID NOT HAPPEN, ONLY BECAUSE HOUSE NEVER LOST POWER DURING OR AFTER A HEAVY RAIN. ALL RAINWATER/GROUNDWATER NOW FLOWS UNDERNEATH BASEMENT FLOOR INSIDE ENCLOSED PIPE, AND DIRECTLY OUT TO STREET. NO MORE RAINWATER/GROUNDWATER IS BEING PUMPED UPHILL. NEW PRIMARY SUMP PUMP, NEW SUMP PUMP FOR LAUNDRY WASH TUB. NEW SUMP PIT TO COLLECT ANY NATURALLY OCCURRING WATER UNDERNEATH BASEMENT FLOOR, EMPTIES INTO NEW PIPE UNDERNEATH BASEMENT FLOOR. NEW FLOOR DRAIN IN BASEMENT NEXT TO CLOTHES DRYER, EMPTIES INTO NEW PIPE UNDERNEATH BASEMENT FLOOR. REMOVED PINE BUSH STUMP THAT HAD GROWN BACK. 2 NEW SEWER CLEANOUTS NEXT TO FRONT PORCH STEPS.

Description of Work: They came to my home to fix a drain in the driveway and a broken pipe. He found the broken piece, repaired it and installed a new drain crock. He also made a suggestion, which was a great idea, running line away from the house to end of property, instead of descending it. He also suggested open ended downspouts be tied in with the new pipe, to ensure that water did not puddle around the foundation. The most ironic part of it was that it started raining and we had some really heavy downpours, right after the job was done.

Description of Work: We had a sewer line installed and needed to be tied into the new sewer line.

Description of Work: He did the excavating for the sewer system. He had to connect our pipes to the main sewer line.

Description of Work: We are having sewer systems put into our neighborhood and I had them come out to give me an estimate on tying us into the system from the street to our home.
