The guy got here on time and inspected the drain and basement area while explaining how the drain system worked. He then gave me quotes for several different inspection options. He jetted the drain out pretty quickly and inspected with a camera to ensure there were no further issues. He was very friendly and professional.
Description of Work: Had a clogged downspout drain that needed to be inspected and cleared.

I think I found them on Angie's List. They were very easy to talk to. They explained everything to me. I usually do the work myself, but some of the bigger jobs I can't do. They gave me more options such as more expensive and less expensive. We have used them several times since (this time).

We worked with different employees of Wyatt Waterworks for each visit... Ben, Luke, Josh and Carmen. Everyone we dealt with including the office staff were great. I like Wyatt Waterworks approach. There is no heavy sales tactics. You are presented with a quote with different options (e.g. good, better, best). We never felt rushed in making a decision. Each technician was very good at answering our questions. Wyatt Waterworks prices are not cheap, but they provide exceptional service making it worth hiring them. They are our new go to plumbers. I highly recommend Wyatt Waterworks.
Description of Work: Over a 6 month period of time, we had 3 plumbing projects completed by Wyatt Waterworks. First, in April 2016, Wyatt Waterworks investigated a water leak from the master bath to the basement and replaced a portion of the internal plumbing line. The cost was $600.00 Then, in July 2016 our hot water tank exploded. Wyatt Waterworks installed a tankless water heater and recirculating closet for us for $4,644.00 Finally, in October 2016, we had Wyatt Waterworks install a new kitchen faucet and a water filtration system for us. We also had them repair some minor plumbing issues (e.g. replace stoppers, fix shower head and leaking bathroom faucet). Also, we had a water line run from the filtration system to the ice maker in our refrigerator. The total cost was $3,340.57. Then,

It went well scheduling and the team arrived on time. The team was very professional in the home and they were in constant communication with me. The problem was that the whole reason I wanted them to go out was to inspect the kitchen ceiling. I told them in advance it was a slat type ceiling and gave the young lady that took my call a good idea of what I wanted. I was told for 49 dollars they would go out and assess. After arriving, the team never looked into the kitchen ceiling and called me to tell me it would be an additional 275 to inspect inside the ceiling! WHAT?!!? I was told it was covered for 49 dollars. I understand I was given a quote and an idea of what they thought was wrong, but I needed someone to check inside my kitchen ceiling and instead I was given the bait and switch then a "I'm sorry it's 275 additional and I can't guarantee it will all go back the same way because we're not ceiling professionals". I would have been happy if they would have done it under the 50 dollar fee I already paid. Now I'm out of 50 dollars and I have to have someone else come out and look at the ceiling!
Description of Work: I had a mystery leak coming through my Kitchen ceiling. I called WyattWorks and asked them to go out to inspect the kitchen ceiling and identify if there was mold. If there was mold, they would recommend a specialist to come out.

Josh came out and completed a plumbing assessment of our home. He pulled the toilet above the leak and noticed that the previous homeowner improperly installed the toilet. Based on this, he believed this was the source of the leak. He presented us with pre-bundled repair options, and we elected to have him repair the toilet and add some caulking to the back of the access panel for our tub. That total came to about $800. The leak in the ceiling continued, and the next day water was pooling around the bathroom toilet. Two more repair techs came out soon after (the team was very responsive), and said that the tank to bowl screws needed replaced after the toilet was moved. We paid $160 more dollars, hoping this would end the leak. The leak continued. I discovered that our old steam radiator in the bathroom was leaking water into the floor, and asked that the crew come back out to again try to confirm that this was our mystery leak. The third time, they put a hole in the kitchen ceiling. Josh came out a 4th time several days later (after we turned the water off to the radiator) to tighten and clean our radiator in the bathroom, as well as a radiator in the master bedroom that was doing the same thing. This appears to have solved our leak. Pros: - This company appeared to really want to do the right thing and solve our problem. - They were responsive - They seemed honest - They did not charge us for return visits, and offered to pay to bring an HVAC professional in as needed. Cons: - In spite of a complete "home plumbing inspection", the correct reason for the leak was not initially identified, leading to 3 extra visits from this team, and more expenses - Bundled work costs are a good idea, but they keep the consumer from getting a clear price breakdown for parts vs. labor Overall Rating: B

The labor was about $250. It was fairly good. We had some issues about who they were sending out and when, this and that, that I was not happy about. They had the service in June and they didn't invoice me until August. I paid and recently I got a call that said I still have an outstanding balance. I said I mailed the check and they already cashed it. The work was good, but the process was a problem. They told me they have a new software that's supposed to prevent all of these. My project got caught in that change over. I think sometimes we go into the new software and put on all these things and if everybody isn't trained in the proper fashion, we get into worst trouble. Plumbing work in general is obnoxiously high.

Our technician, Benjamin Weinberger, was punctual and cheerful the entire time he was here. He addressed each portion of the job with confidence and worked efficiently. The different choices of sump pumps were explained. We feel we made a good decision about our purchase, because we better understand the features. Each area of work was left clean and in good order. The detective work on the basement floor leak is an ongoing project. After examination of the foundation and walls through the crawl space, Benjamin made several possible scenarios for a solution. We have already made an appointment through WyattWorks to have the diagnostic team further examine the situation and recommend a solution. We have had WyattWorks Plumbing take care of our household plumbing needs for more than seven years. We will stick with their service.
Description of Work: Two sinks were snaked, one faucet repaired and replacement of a sump pump. Also, some detective work on a basement floor leak that occurs during driving rains on the North side of our house. This required examining a crawl space. I think, a rather disgusting part of a plumbers job.

I've used WyattWorks for years. I'm always impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, and courtesy of their staff at every level. This time our technician was Benjamin W - smart, friendly, very helpful, hardworking. He asked questions, answered our questions, and considered our needs in order to give us the best options for water heater replacement and the other work. It was good to have a few options spelled out and priced before I made a decision. In the end, Benjamin did the work I wanted same day for a decent price. I won't hesitate to use WyattWorks again, and I recommend them highly to others. Great company.

Ben and Carmen listened as I explained the issue and afterward they gave me a quote for various service options. They thoroughly explained all the details, and answered any questions I had before starting the work. Once done, they even advised about a couple non-related plumbing questions I had. Unfortunately, the work performed didn't completely fix the problem so Carmen came back the next day and used the camera to check the sewer line and flush it out again, which fixed the issue. Carmen didn't mind as I watched out of curiosity and happily answered all of my questions.

The crew was professional and friendly and spent about 4 hours at my home. But after considering the work that was done and the time it took to complete, even if you say $300 for parts (which is not even close I presume), their hourly rate is $255 per hour (for two guys), which is more than I pay my lawyer. I don't believe their prices are fair. I would highly recommend getting quotes from other plumbers (with reliable Angies List reviews) before choosing WyattWorks.

Jamal and Benjamin came to our home today to diagnose the source of water damage to our living room ceiling. After turning on my tub and noticing sewage coming up through the basement, I called a national franchise plumbing company. They told me I had blockages, including tree roots, but also told me my pipes were terrible and wanted $17K to tear up all the pipes in the house and lay new ones. I am so thankful I called out Wyattworks for a second opinion. They took the camera down into my pipes and said they looked fine. The previous company left a tree root in my pipe so they took care of that, applied root killer, and will conduct yearly maintenance to roots. They called before they arrived to let me know when the plumber would be out and were clean, professional, and polite. I was so thankful for their honestly, saving me thousands. Definitely my new plumbers!

There was no hiked up emergency call out fee, and in total the job cost 277 bucks (which I think is a very reasonable price indeed, especially to save my basement from becoming a remake of The Poisedon Adventure. And, to top it off, Josh was a really cool and personable guy. All in all, these are now my Go-to Guys when liquid-based disaster strikes!
Description of Work: We had an emergency today, when a leak at our tenant's house was producing a steady sprinkling of water in the basement. I rang WyattWorks and they sent someone out within 90 minutes. Josh was the technician, who first of all shut off the water and diagnosed the situation. He then presented me with a range of very transparent and reasonable options, with literally zero pressure to go with the more expensive ones (I went with the cheapest). He completed the job diligently and carefully and so was up and out the door, leaving no mess behind, within about an hour.

Moisture in basement. After multiple consultations with Andy and Ben as to possible causes, decision made to jet and examine downspouts from house to street. Found one broken downspout line beside the house which was excavated and replaced, and two drains which were blocked with debris and roots, both of which were cleared. Ben head up the project. Efficiently and professionally accomplished. Would be delighted to work with Ben and his colleagues again.
