Two Men and a Truck

The two movers showed up on time. They moved pretty slow. My husband and brother packed the truck along with the guys and did probably twice as much work. After the movers filled the storage unit, the guys "disappeared" for over an hour. The storage unit was 10 minutes from our apartment and they claimed they were lost. I stupidly waited outside for them to arrive. If they wanted a break, I wish they would have said so. The final time and price was more than the estimate. Fast foward to this year, we finally moved into our home. We hired a different company to move our belongings into our house. Those movers asked my husband to come into the storage unit so he could see that Two Men and a Truck stacked and crushed boxes that were clearly marked 'fragile, do not stack.' I found several items that were broken. Even though we have even more stuff from our new baby, this company moved our belongings in two less hours than Two Men and a Truck. I am so glad I decided to go with a different company.

This is the second time that I used Two Men and a Truck on the westside. Jodi provided us with an estimate and was very helpful in making adjustments to our planned move. I used the Angie's List coupon for boxes which was very helpful. Eric and Alex were our movers and they were very conscientious hard workers. It took them 6.25 hours to move us from Fairview Park to North Olmsted. We had to keep on reminding them to take a break for lunch. When they did take a break, they did not charge us for the 30 minute downtime. I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck for a seamless move.

Needed moving services and after review of Angie's List, I selected Two Men & a Truck. Alex & Jeremy arrived on time, were courteous and careful with the furniture removal (especially the large breakfront, china cabinet, sofa, and dining table.) I will hire them again to replace all the furniture after the interior remodeling is finished.

As I explained above they always do a good job.

I decided to contact this company for several reasons: --I have seen there trucks around for years --They had a good score on Angie's List When I called to set up an appointment, the woman on the phone was very nice and helpful. She was very thorough in her questioning (needed to know how much we had to move to come up with an approximate time scale for moving) and patient with me giving her a list of stuff we had. Once this was complete, she gave me a time estimate for 2 movers vs. 3 movers and we decided 3 movers was the best bang for the buck. We then set up the moving date and they had an opening (YEAH). The day of the move, the gentleman arrived on time and were very courteous. They moved all of the boxes and furniture with no trouble, even though it was a pretty hot day. They moved everything from the first house within about 3 hours or so. Once this was done, they met us at the new house and started to unload our belongings. They placed the furniture in the appropriate rooms and left the boxes in the main living room (to save us some time and money). This also took about 3 hours or so. After they were done, they gave me a bill and I paid it on the spot. I do have to say, again, that the gentlemen were very good and personable. They were able to put up with my 2 year old following them around and trying to 'help' them. They also had a gentleman with them that was on his first day and I thought that the other guys did a good job of teaching him what to do on the job. I was very pleased that they were our movers because they made a stressful day a bit less stressful for us. My only complaint would be that I felt the price was a little bit high, but it saved us a lot of headaches so I guess it was worth it.

It was awesome and they were unbelievable. They were really good in making a quote and sticking to it. I am absolutely going to use their services again in the future.

They were quick and their price was reasonable. They didn't damage anything while moving. I would use their service in the future.

The whole move went pretty well. They did a good job and got me moved in a quick manner.

The 2 men and the truck were very punctual. Met us in Ashtabula at the designated time. Took great care in loading and protecting the household furnishings. The workers were courteous and professional. Made sure everything was to our satisfaction before they departed. Would definitely use this moving company again

Late yesterday afternoon I called Two Men and A Truck to ask if it would be possible to have a heavy concrete garden fountain moved from the back of my Honda Fit to a corner of my patio. I needed to have it moved before noon today, if at all possible. The wonderful, helpful woman who answered the phone, Jody, said it is the kind of job they do but her computerized schedule was temporarily unavailable and she wasn't sure if they could get to it by this morning. After getting my address she said she'd make a few phone calls and get back to me. Within 5 minutes she called back and said, yes, they could fit in the move the next morning between 8 and 9. At 8:20 the next morning three personable, professional, and exceedingly capable young men showed up, introduced themselves and shook my hand and were ready to work. I showed them where the fountain was, where it needed to be moved, and which direction to point it in. Two of the men moved the fountain from my car and set it up while the other man dealt with the paper work. The entire operation was breathtakingly efficient and pleasant. If I ever need to have anything heavy moved I will definitely call Two Men and A Truck. I'm thrilled with their work and their pleasant demeanor. They were lovely to work with and did exactly what needed to be done, quickly and correctly

The company was very pleasant to work with from the start. When I called initially they set an appointment for that weekend for an estimator to come out to the house. The estimator was on time, asked all the appropriate questions, quoted us a price, and secured a moving date. I later visited the store and placed an order for boxes & supplies which they delivered to the home two days later at no additional charge. I went back to the store once more to pick up a few additional boxes. It turned out I didn't need them all, so they took the unused boxes back on moving day and refunded the money for those. They also brought wardrobe boxes on the day of the move at no additional charge. The three men who initially came were friendly and very efficient. After a time they realized that they might run out of room on the truck they brought with them, so they called the store and had another mover come out with an additional smaller truck. The quoted us a little extra $$ for the additional truck, but said the additional mover would be free of charge. It turned out they didn't need the additional truck after all, so the additional mover just helped them pack the remaining items on the original truck and then he left. We didn't have to pay extra for any of that. Unfortunately, one of the movers twisted his ankle and fell when he was helping to carry our brand new dining room table to the truck. The corner of the table hit the concrete front step and was damaged. We are currently working with their repair contractor to fix this small problem. We will not be charged for the repair. We were actually more concerned about the mover because he really hurt his ankle and skinned his shin, but he continued right on working. Unloading at the new home went well and again the movers were very efficient. We noticed that a shelf on one of our inexpensive pressboard DVD racks had broken in transit, which was no big deal. All of our other belongings made it without any damage and they didn't nick or stain any walls or carpeting at the new house during the unloading process. The total cost of the day ended up being $500-$700 LESS than what we were quoted, so overall we were very happy with the experience!

Overall, my experience with them was excellent. I found nothing that was broken or scratched. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

We wrote a letter to the local office and sent it to the corporate office, with no response. This is what we wrote and we still have not received a response, reimbursement, or even an acknowledgement that they received this. Neither corporate nor the local office has responded. We had an absolutely horrible experience with Condrad, the lead moverwith the crew we had. He stated the following:"What are we, garbage men now?" (when asked to put some things on thecurb rather than packing them) "I worked 12 hours yesterday and have to work 12 hours tomorrow, ifyou make me take all of this, it will wear me out." "It's in our letter that we only move furniture and boxes so we don'thave to move that" (referring to misc items such as unboxed brooms,mops, etc.) "We don't move things that aren't in sealed boxes, it's in our letter.""If i have to make 80,000 trips, it will wear me out." "Do you hate me? You're making me take so many boxes to the basement!What did I do to you?""It's 7:30pm on a Friday night" (he explained he had a job bar-tendingat a topless bar that he was now too tired to take.) "This could be used for pole dancing." This was in reference to thepole in our basement. We actually used another company, the day before, due to schedulingsince we moved two homes into one...the other company was cheerful,brought wardrobe boxes and large rubber bands to help with last minuteitems.The difference was so huge...I am mortified that we would be soinsulted with the awful service of two men and a truck.This person should be fired. He disgraces your company. He insultedus, our sensibilities, and our faith in your company. I have no ideawhat recourse can be taken. I actually told Kim, the schedulingperson, that I had used Two Men and a Truck several years ago, and Iwasn't thrilled with their service, but when I posted a question onFacebook asking for my friends' referrals, they mostly referred yourcompany.I am absolutely disgusted by this individual and regardless of thegood job the other two workers (Justin and Chris) did, Conrad absolutely disgraced your company and reputation.My partner and I are both educated, trustworthy people, and hate theidea that if someone asked us what we thought of the company, we'dhave to reply with our experience.I would like a follow up to this and would like reimbursement for this experience.

The price we paid for boxes and packing supplies was substantially less than similar items that we priced from other sources, and Two Men and A Truck provided free delivery of our order.

They work fast and make sure everything gets to the new place. They even had boxes of their own. When they pack stuff, they packed it by area of home.

The guys were great. They were punctual, wiling to do whatever I asked, and handled my furniture with care. They were friendly and honest. I ended up paying a little less because the move went so smoothly and quickly. I also took adantage of the Angies List offer for free boxes - quite a deal! I will use this company again.

This was a really good experience. We received a confirmation call two days before our move. On the day of the move the two people who arrived moved us quickly and easily. They were very professional and helpful in getting our furniture moved out and then into our new home. As most people know, placing the furniture in the new house can cause some stress. But, these professionals were so helpful that it was a smooth transition. The only complaint I have was that I was not aware of the fuel surcharge. I understand it, but I would have liked to have known it was showing up on my bill. That's really the only surprise. Of course, I would highly recommend Two Men and a Truck.

The whole process was excellent. We had a very good experience and would definitely use them again, as well as recommend them to our friends.

Unfortunately they got a late start out of Cleveland and that set them back several hours, which stressed me out. I feel they should have had three guys doing this, not two. One of the movers was horrible at packing. It is amazing that nothing broke. Some of my furniture got scratched and dinged but it isn't worth the trouble of filing a report. I will glue some things and try to stain and polish to hide scratches. The fellas were quite nice though. Despite the above, the company was probably above average overall. I've never found any moving company that takes care of my stuff they way I would.

This company is very high on customer service and quality work. They work fast, with no slacking or padding the hours. They moved all my daughters stuff to 3 locations in exactly the time allotted. The men were friendly and very proffessional. I could not have been more satisfied!! A++ to "Two men & a truck", in my case three men.

Had such a good experience 9 yers. ago when I moved from my house. We used them at the office. Arrived on time, did the move expertly and were gone. I've used them on more than 3 occasions and have always been extremely happy.

The branch in Ohio didn?t load our furniture into the truck properly. Unfortunately, this resulted in some scratches. However, the branch in Florida did an excellent job unloading our belongings. I would give the Ohio branch an F for quality of work, but the Florida branch an A+.

I called two Men & A Truck for an estimate and an explanation of how the process worked. This was my first time using a professional moving company. The person who answered the phone was helpful, friendly, and answered all my questions. At first I called just for a quote, and later to schedule services. We discussed all the items and large furniture in the house so the company could schedule enough workers and truck space for everything. The movers arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, were careful with my items. They asked where each item should be placed. Upon arriving at the house, they put out protective clothes to protect the flooring (not sure if this was necessary but it was a nice touch). They moved several rooms worth of furniture. The price quoted was accurate and very reasonable, the movers were professional and friendly, overall I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in the area looking to move

They were extremely quick and we were satisfied. I thought the price was very fair. They were very careful with the furniture.
