Two Men and a Truck

The movers were surprised at the amount of stuff we had even though we had indicated to them beforehand in detail the number of items. Luckily, they had an extra mover with them and I assisted as much as I could to speed up the process. Packing and moving all the boxes, furniture, etc was nicely handled. Movers were very professional and delicate with our belongings. One major problem was that they forgot to get our bedframe. We're now in the process of trying to get that to our house but it has been a major inconvenience.

Three men showed up right on time and didn't waste any time loading and unloading the truck. They wrapped what needed to protect the furniture. Would not hesitate to use them again if needed.

Company packed vintage glassware & in very good time on one day & moved the house the next - & figured out how to box a 4 ft wide x 3 ft tall dollhouse! (Especially liked that the fellows who packed that day were also who moved me the next - they knew what they had to deal with!) Moving day crew were competent, fast, careful (always watching out for the furniture & doorways & hardwood floors) - & patient!! Did whatever I asked - furniture going certain places, some odd things that had to not only move but go in unusual places at the new place etc, coped with some odd situations - that dollhouse, for instance, not only needed packing but had to go up some narrow stairs! Entire job came in under budget, as they saved time packing & moving. Would very much recommend this company to anyone moving (& have already!) They very much made a stressful day so much easier! Update: Unpacked all that vintage glass & was delighted to find not a piece damaged!!! And another update: Turns out had to call them back to get the rest of the house moved; I'd underestimated what still had to move! Mostly boxes this time - & again, job done under budget, both time & money.

Movers were extremely careful to avoid damaging the house from which I was moving. They applied padded blankets around the doorway frames to reduce the likelihood of damaging that wood. They were very quick and courteous. Same story when moving my stuff up one floor into my new apartment; fast, courteous, careful, efficient. I will be using this company again very shortly.

They were very professional and very quick. I was very happy with them. I've been treated well by them in the past. I've used them for three moves. They came in and did exactly what they were supposed to do. There was no messing around with anything. I was quite happy with it.

They were very careful with the move and all of my things arrived undamaged. I found it strange that there was a 2 hour minimum and that they charged for everything. I would recommend packing your things before they arrive.

I only have very good things to say about them. They were prompt. They worked hard. They did not take a lot of breaks. They are pleasant. They are the best that I have found at a reasonable price.

They were very efficient and there were no flaws at all. They were exactly on time. I have seen the truck here at the senior center a number of times, so they must be doing good work.

One mover, named Orlando was nice, and the other mover who was with him was rude and indignant and had an attitude. I would not go to this company again because of that mover. He made the move very stressful because he had a nasty attitude. If it wasn't for Orlando, I wouldn't have had them move me.

Professional and on time. Fees were exactually as explained when scheduling.

They had three guys moving doing the work. My overall experience with them was good. I would use their services again in the future.

They overcharged us and they didn't even pay us the money back.

They were terrific. They were late getting here, but after they got here they did a wonderful job. They were professional and friendly.

I'm new to Angie's List and still finding my way around the website. I emailed this provider not realizing that I was only emailing this location and not the main website for Two Men and a Truck. Jodi responded to my inquiry within minutes and began collecting additional information to help put together an estimate. When I saw the travel charges on the estimate, I knew I wouldn't be getting a crew from the Akron location. When I wrote back to Jodi to apologize for the misunderstanding, she was extremely gracious considering I had wasted a nice chunk of her time. She is a wonderful front person to introduce new customers to their business. Thanks again, Jodi, for your patience and great customer service.

We liked them. They did a good job. They were punctual. They didn't break anything. They were willing to hang around and provide an extra service by moving the furniture around until my mom liked where the furniture were. They were very friendly and very helpful. They were very careful of all my mom's stuff. We were particularly, pleasantly surprised and pleased that they were willing to wait and hang around to make sure that everything was where my mom wanted. They were very professional. We would use them without hesitation and we would recommend them without hesitation.

I have used them twice in the past year. The service was excellent. I would recommend them highly.

Our move was HORRIBLE. I have used Two Men And A Truck 3 times before and was very happy NOT this time. Three guys came one guy was allergic to cats and forgot his Claritin and he went down hill from there on. He never came into the apartment to move anything and we were paying for 3 guys. Then he was on the phone because he was "going through a divorce". Then he was complaining because he was in the business 15 years too long. Which we believe is accurate given the fact he proceeded to ask where we had alternatives for a couch that we wanted in a basement - his co-workers got it downstairs for him. We signed a disclaimer for some press board items. However, they picked up one such item a dresser from the top - it was not strapped and had clothing in it that they knew about - it fell apart. They lost legs to a table, and last but not least we had a box spring issue that they helped with 2 moves ago which is why I kept coming back to them. It was very difficult for them this time. The Whiny Guy bitched about taking apart the box spring telling us "you know you could just buy a 2 piece box spring" and then "you know you are on the clock" - REALLY? Yes we were on the clock and we were willing to pay the extra charge. I'm sure he was getting paid too - so do your job or if you are so unhappy get another job. One guy (the one in charge) was very helpful explained everything he had to do with the box spring and the additional costs and then a fourth had to show up to help. The fourth was able to get the Whiny One on board to work and eventually they finished. I am very disappointed in the whole experience and have told everyone about our horrible move.

We've used them three times and we've never had a bad experience with them. They have done a better job for us than other much bigger companies we've used for larger moving jobs.

The overall experience is excellent and the price is reasonable. So far the quality is good; we are right in the middle of moving now. I will use them again in the future but I hope I don't have to move for a long time.

I was pleased with their services. They packed me up in Michigan. I drove the truck to Ohio and then they unpacked me. I would advise using them. They were very accomadating. The price was the cheapest.

They arrived on time and worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner.

We found them to be punctual and professional, and they did a good job. They were also very accomodating and did their best to move heavy items for us. We did find some scratches and found them to be less enthusiastic than the first time we used them.

My experience Two Men and a Truck was excellent. The team of Jessie and James was professional; treating my belongings with utmost respect. I highly recommend this company and would ask for Jessie and James again. In the past, moving services were a disaster but Two Men and a Truck renewed my confidence with their moving service.

They were fine, they were prompt. They were very good on taking the bedroom furniture apart and they did not hit any walls. They were very careful.

It went great! They arrived on time and I couldn't believe how hard they worked. They finished the job faster than I expected and everything went smoothly with no damage. Would recommend them to anyone.
