Two Men and a Truck

We planned the move with the company prior to the actual move. They were very informative and provided an initial estimate. You can purchase boxes and other packing items. They were even willing to go to our storage unit and move those items on the same day and include the time and cost with the residential move. We cancelled the side trip due to things on our end, so they did not have to do it. Literally, two men showed up with a truck! :) They were on time and very professional. They moved quickly and methodically. If boxes were marked with room locations, they were pretty good about taking them to the assigned rooms. I only had one item end up broken and was probably more so due to my poor wrapping than their carelessness. Great experience and I would recommend them to friends.

It was a small move, I was checking them out for a bigger move soon. I will definitely hire them. On time, polite, friendly, professional. Good problem solvers, too! A+++

I contacted Two Men and A Truck for my daughter and son-in-law's move. I dealt with Jodi and Jimmy in the office, both of whom were very professional and answered all my questions. The day of the move the movers showed up on time and began evaluation the situation. I had underestimated the amount of furniture but the movers handled it very well and were able to get the job done! The movers were fun, professional, and worked so hard! I cannot recommend this company enough.

Move was scheduled with Two Men and a Truck, they sent 3 very hard working young men M. Madumcky, D. Grimes and J. Cluvijo; I hope I have the spelling of the names correct because they deserve to be commended for the great work they did. These young men showed up on time and immediately starting moving furniture from a second floor apartment professionally and quickly. They arrived at the new second floor apartment and were just as efficient. They helped us move the furniture around until we were satisfied with it's placement. Thank you guys for the great job...would definitely use them again.

It took me two or three hours. Everything went good. There were no problems or issues. I boxed all my stuff. Nothing was broken. My interaction with them was fine and they were professional. I would tell a friend that there were no problems. They were pretty efficient and were on time.

The provider was very quick, packing went very well, there were a few minor problems but nothing to really worry about.

They did an excellent job. They were on time and delivered everything fine.

Watch out for their drivers, especially on an icy day. I had an experience, almost a "run in" with one driver who thinks that residential streets are a racetrack. I had just backed out of my driveway onto an empty street, when a Two Men and a Truck, with three men in the front seat, came speeding around a curve and almost plowed into my car. I spoke to the driver and let him know that his driving and speed was not appropriate for a residential street. His response was to hit the gas pedal and speed past me, again demonstrating a complete disregard for anyone's safety. If this is the way this company trains their staff, they leave much to be desired. I called the Wickliffe office and left a phone message for the manager, and he never had the good sense or decency to call me back. I called again the next day and left my complaint with someone else, but am not sure they took it seriously.

Brian and Brad were great. On time and very informative. Always moving other stuff if I had to do something for them like remove door handles. Even though I gave them a list of furnature being moved, and I did not have them move the patio furnature due to it being covered with snow, they stil did not have a big enough truck. 2 items require repair, but I have not heard from anyone yet. They could have at least acknowledged the fact that repairs are needed.

I was very happy with the overall service. It was a short commute to move to and they were very prompt, courteous & respectful of myself as well as my belongings. A little bit pricey i thought but well worth it to have an entire home moved in under 5 hours and done the right way. There were a couple things they said they couldn't get into the house because of injury liability, which i understand although it took little effort to do on my own. Overall i would recommend them to anybody.

The move was as smooth as it could be. Per the estimate that was given, the 4 man crew arrived with two trucks. We had to move everything in one day so it was important that the truck space was not under estimated. The crew showed up on time was polite and went immediately to work. They got us loaded moved and unloaded with only one problem - they broke our grill. They quickly looked it up on line and offered to replace it or take the cost of it off our final bill. We were more than satisfied with their response to the issue. This was a whole house move and the crew never stopped working except for a quick lunch. We were very impressed with their work ethic. On a stressful day for us, these guys made it easy! They finished on time and charged us exactly what was quoted. (Minus the cost of the grill). We would recommend them to our friends for sure!

The two men arrived timely and were very professional - both in their appearance and in handling the move. They were very careful with our furniture and making sure to not mark up the walls etc in our new updated space. They were super polite and worked quickly. I have already recommended them to others.

They are flexible. Everything was excellent. They were exactly right on their estimate, the over estimated and then they came back with a better cost. They are very accessible. I had to change my move date several times and they were very accommodating. We had them move the major, heavy stuff. They were on time and absolutely professional. They were clean, quick, helpful and kind. It was a great experience.

My Family, Church and I have used Two Men and a Truck several times over the past five years and have received great service at a great price! The movers were quick and efficient as well as friendly and courteous. They were very careful with all our furniture and easy to get a hold of. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

They were on time and professional. They did a great job and no items were broke. I plan on using them in the future.

They sent me three movers, and they did a great job! They wrapped all of my furniture, used pads on nearly everything to avoid scratches, and worked quickly and efficiently. They finished in less time than quoted, and it cost less than quoted, too! The movers were knowledgeable about proper moving techniques, and careful with all of my stuff.

Everything went smoothly. The men were professional, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The movers showed up on time. There were three men to move six desks(emptied), eight chairs, three filing cabinets (emptied), 5 bookcases, 3 shelving units, a coat tree, 3 small carts on casters. They were moving this 3.2 miles. Two of the men moved the furniture down the elevator (we were on the second floor) to the truck. One man was in the truck securing the items. It took them over two hours to complete the job. I thought it would take them an hour at the most since everything was emptied and not heavy. They sat in the parking lot for ten minutes after they had filled and secured the truck. Don't ask me why. We assume they were trying to add time to the bill. My husband was waiting in the parking lot in his car waiting for them to follow him. We moved all the boxes and office equipment ourselves so as to minimize the time needed to move and to avoid having any breakage issues. They clearly took their time and then some. Some of the furniture was made of fiberboard. They required us to sign a form that relieved them of any responsibility if any of the items were damaged in transport. When we got to our home, one of the men broke the casters on one of the carts. He handed three casters to my husband. We have no idea where the fourth one is. Never said anything about replacing it. We were watching them unload the items and they clearly could have been more careful. I have used this particular franchise of Two Men And A Truck numerous times. This is the first time that I have been so unhappy with their service. I would consider using a different firm next time.

Movers showed up on time. Showed up with a really large truck, which was good. The where quick and wasted no time. Some of my furniture got damaged. So after the move I call customer service. I left many messages. No one was calling me back. So I had to call the corprate office. Finally someone called me back and set up appointment to look at the damages. The frist time the repair guy came out he just took pictures. So over the next three months he came to my house about four times. I thought this was very annoying. I moved in Dec. and he finished all of the reapirs sometime in March. Long process, Will never use them again.

An estimator came out about 5 days ahead of the move date. Based on the volume of belongings to be moved, he recommended 4 men and two trucks. He gave me an estimate of 1300-1800 for the move. While 1800 seemed high, I was sold on their promise of professionalism and attention to the treatment and care of the things being moved. They showed up on time and started work right away. They men were very polite and professional. They got the job loaded and unloaded, with a lunch, in about 7 hours. They worked hard and remained upbeat even as the day dragged on. There was one incident that my daughter reported afterwards where she said that she saw one if the guys throwing a box off the back of a truck and on to the ground. Also, I have no idea how, but they completely scalped two of my artificial trees. They gave me all of the leaves off the floor of the truck so I can at least probably glue them back on or something. They came in at the very low end of the estimate which was a pleasant surprise! The crew was great. I would definitely go to them first if I ever need to move again.

I called Two Men and Truck and asked if they could lift my 84-pound plasma TV off and onto of its wall mount so that I could adjust the mounting brackets on the back of the TV. I was told that their policy was not to move TVs because of possible liability for damage. I explained to the nice lady who answered the phone that I didn't want them to move the TV, I just needed them to lift it. She said she was sorry but the boss would not allow it. About five minutes later the lady called back and said that she was able to convince the boss to do it and it would cost $150. I explained that I had read a review on Angie's List where Two Men and a Truck had lifted a garden display out of the trunk of a car and had set it up in the garden for only $100. After talking to her boss for a minute, she said that they would do my job for $100. I agreed and we set a time for the following day. The next day, the movers called about fours hours before the arranged time and said they could do it now if I wanted. They showed up quickly and lifted the TV off its wall mount, I adjusted the mounting brackets, and they lifted the TV back onto its wall mount. The whole process took less than 10 minutes. Moral of the story: be sure to mention Angie's List when you do business with any company you contact. And many thanks to the nice lady who answered the phone for Two Men and a Truck!

Two Men showed up on time and ready to work. They listened to our instructions and helped with the strategy of the entire move to make it easier on all of us. We had two cats and one dog at a time & it wasn't an issue. They helped us so much with our move, They went above and beyond helping us. We never lifted a finger, they insisted on it. I felt like they were our friends, they were extremely personable and took great care with our furnishings. I agonized over the floor plan and the necessary requirements to get furnishings in and out, up and down. It was not a problem, they actually thought that it was well thought out & made things easier. We have moved a few times in the past, have always used Two Men & a Truck for the local moving and have always been very pleased with them. I can tell you that their slogan on their truck "We Care" says it all. Thanks again, Two Men!
