I got this provider's name from a friend. I had had a roofer walk away with $5k and not do the job, so I was a little leery. Owner came over the next day. He did a very hard sell - Stated he was going to give me a great deal because he had a soft spot for people who had been ripped off in the past, and that he was going to make my dilapidated home look "beyoooutiful." My roof needed to be replaced completely, and my wooden garage and breezeway were so weathered that they would no longer hold paint. The aluminum siding on the main part of the house was in OK condition, but he told me that he couldn't match the siding on the breezeway and garage to the house, because aluminum would be too expensive. I hadn't intended to side the house, but he convinced me it was really the only option. He told me he that any contract should include a detailed list of costs for materials, labor, etc, so I thought it was odd that the one he gave me only listed overall cost for roof, one for the gutters, and one for the siding. He kept assuring me that he was giving me an amazing deal, and based on previous quotes, it was at least fair, so I didn't quibble, although he wanted half the total cost for all three jobs up front, half the siding cost prior to starting the siding, and only the last $4250 on completion. The workers started sooner than expected, and were exceptional. They were friendly, polite, and neat. They worked in horrible weather and even cleaned up my garage. The roof looked great. They waited about a week to start the siding. The owner said that another job had run long, and we were close to on-schedule anyway, since they had gotten an early start on the roof. The siding guys were nice as well, never commenting on the embarrassingly-dilapidated condition of my house. The job was supposed to be done on 12/10, but on 12/11, only about 2/3 of the siding was up. I got a text from the owner on 12/11 stating that the job would be done on 12/12, and that I needed to leave a check in the morning so that he could make payroll. I didn't have enough time to transfer that much cash by first thing the next morning, and was extremely uncomfortable making the final payment before the work was done, let alone inspected. It's always the final details that make or break a job, and I wanted to be able to check it over before he took off. His response to my message that he didn't give enough time for me to transfer the funds was, "Sounds trust issue but whatever..." At this point, I was pretty annoyed. Why on earth would I trust someone I'd just met? He said he had given me an amazing price, but since his contract contained absolutely no cost detail, I had no way to compare it apples-to-apples to competitors. Furthermore, my kids were home when he made a visit to the site and heard him screaming profanity at the workers, rushing them to finish up fast despite sub-zero weather. I knew there would be no special "finishing touches" when I heard that. When I got home, I saw that my azalea bushes (scraggly but previously trimmable) had been entirely ripped out one one side, and that my rear floodlight did not work. I also saw that the breezeway was only sided to thigh-height. Above that was the bare, peeling wood that was the whole reason I'd sided the house in the first place. The breezeway is mostly storm windows with 3-inch wood strips running between, so I thought it would be a challenge to side it, but the owner kept assuring me "I'm gonna make it look beeyoutiful for you!" I went ahead and paid. The work was done, and the roof, gutters, and siding on the house and garage looked great. I sent the owner a message letting him know the check was waiting, but included a picture of the awful-looking breezeway as well as the ripped-out bushes in the front and said that this was the reason I was uncomfortable paying before the work was done. What followed is the reason I would never recommend Structure Roofing. He left a 3 minute 30 second voice mail including "As far as you not wanting to pay us because we weren't finished with the job, I kinda knew you were lyin to me yesterday...but to not trust me after all I did for you...even your neighbor that don't like you commented on how good that house looks....Unfortunately, I wasn't able to please you, and that's your fault. We stuck it out and got that house done for you when everyone else ripped...you...off...For you to dog us after what we did for you over there is just amazing.,.." on and on and on. It was unprofessional to demand final payment before I'd had a chance to see the finished work. It was concerning that he was unable to make payroll when I had already paid $11,500 in that two-week period. It was disturbing that he was apparently abusive to the best workers I've ever seen. I understood that the way the breezeway was built would make it difficult to side, but that was why I had contracted the self-proclaimed pinnacle of siders, and I foolishly assumed that he had listened when I explained what I was hoping to have done and why. I can probably figure out a way to finish the breezeway myself. I'll have to, since the wood is too old to hold paint, and I can't sell the house with peeling paint. I can live with that, and I can live with the azaleas being ripped out - I didn't like them much, anyway. My friend will probably be able to fix the floodlight. I'm a whole lot better off than I was before, but I would rather cut off my arm than ever have to deal with this owner again. It's a shame. 99% of the work that was done was excellent from what I can see. It was done fast despite terrible weather, and (probably) at an excellent price. If the owner of the business had treated me like a paying client instead of a charity case - If he had answered my questions and concerns with the slightest hint of professional courtesy, I'd have overlooked the minor details and given the company an "A" rating. As it stands, I really hope there is no warranty work needed, because I'd likely pay someone else out-of-pocket than have to deal with him again. $16,000 may have been a fantastic price for the work that was done, but it was not charity. Next time I need repairs, I will use a larger company. I am willing to pay a little more to be treated with respect.

They were very good, but their price was very high. I didn’t use them. I would use them if they don’t charge so much. They have done a lot of work around our city. They have a lot of good references.
