Pirc Company Landscaping & Snowplowing

It's a big company and I'm satisfied. Antony is his name. He cuts my grass in the summer time and cleans my driveway in the winter time. I sign up for the winter so it’s expensive. I think for the winter it might be 300 some dollars. I have an acre of land so he charges a lot to cut the grass to. He's expensive but he's dependable so I have no complaints. They always come because I use to have trouble getting someone as I have an acre of land and an acre is a lot of grass. I've never had any trouble so I’m satisfied and I would recommend them. I think they might be a little expensive but I haven't priced other people. They call me, I don't talk to him but there is someone in the office always. In summer they usually come on a Monday or Tuesday and he can come any time of the day because I don't have to be here for him to come. I never see him but they seem fine. I will use him as long as I live in this house.

Everything was fine. I used them for 4 years without a problem, then I had my house and garage sided and they hit the garage with the plow and put a crease in the trim that was a few months old. I called 3 times and emailed 2 times for someone to come out and look and they kept saying they would be out but never got back to me so I assume they never came. They're work was good otherwise. They could have at least come to look and knocked off some $ on the next years contract but I guess when there is a problem they drop the customer!

The service has typically been prompt and efficient. I've been able to get in my driveway on days when my neighbors couldn't. They sometimes show up as early as 3:00 am. In all the years that I've used their services I've been snowed in over a weekend only once or twice, and in those cases the whole region was crippled with a major Friday snowstorm and they always had y drive cleared before I had to go to work on Monday.

When I first called the company, they explained that service was "unlimited" (although I was not sure what that meant). Upon receiving the contract, it stated snowplowing was done before 6 am and 6 pm if it snows all day. When contacting the company again, to get clarification, I was told they don't have "unlimited." And the woman who gave me that information was not very nice about it. I then asked if I faxed the contract today (I got it Saturday and today is Monday), if they could get to me at least by tomorrow. She would not answer the question, other than to say, once it stops snowing, we can figure it out then. And when I got angry about such an unclear answer; she suggested that I hire someone else. Which I will do.

They came and set up stakes without stopping in to let us know they were there or asking what we wanted done. They did remove the snow but were rarely there before 7 AM, even though their contract indicated an earlier time. Sometimes they came at 10 or 11 AM. One time they did not come until 3-4 PM and that was after we called to complain. They did a good job of removing the snow but the lateness of their arrival was not helpful. Average price.

They are good. He always makes sure to come. He does a good job. They seem a bit pricey to me but they do a lot for me.

They do what the contract says. They come out in the morning before I go to work. The contract is from the first snow in November until the last snow of the season. If it snows in May they will come out.

Anthony has bailed me out of more messes then I care to remember. I'm a weekend warrior who does not know when it's best to hire a professional until I'm in way over my head. Pirc has done everything from reseeding a lawn to spring clean up and a walkway that I started and could not finish. This past spring we hired them to do a spring clean up, his guys were there about 10 hrs working non-stop and for the price we agreed to. This guy is willing to wheel and deal to get a job, I trust him and will continue to hire then when I need to.

They had very high rating and that's why I hired them but I found them to do lousy work. I asked them to put mulch around the beds, they never did. They said they would never blow clippings into the flower beds, they did. I had grass and weeds coming up in the flowers in the unmulched beds.

During the big storm, they forgot us. The rest of the time they showed up, but not during the big storm. Cost is for clean-up contract.

I got Pirc Landscaping and Snow Plowing's name from Angie's List this past Spring when looking for someone to do weekly lawn maintenance for me. Mr. Pirc came out, gave me a very reasonable estimate. The guys doing the work did a fantastic job, cleaned up nicely and worked quickly and efficiently. I get a monthly, detailed statement from Pirc, which I like. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

ATTEMPTED TO HAVE THE PIRC COMPANY PIPE IN THE ROADSIDE DITCH IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE. CALLED THE PIRC COMPANY SEVERAL TIMES OVER SEVERAL WEEKS. THREE CALLS INVOLVED DISCUSSIONS WITH PIRC EMPLOYEES AND A MAN I BELIEVE WAS THE OWNER. THE OTHER CALLS TO PIRC RESULTED IN ME LEAVING VOICE MESSAGES. I EXPLAINED THAT I ALREADY HAD THE PIPE AND I WAS ASSURED THAT PIRC WAS INTERESTED IN DOING THIS JOB FOR ME AND COULD COMPLETE THE JOB BEFORE WINTER. PIRC NEVER DELIVERED THE ESTIMATE THAT WAS PROMISED TO ME AND AT ONE POINT I OFFERED PIRC ADDITIONAL WORK IN AN EFFORT TO GET PIRC OUT TO DO ESTIMATE THE JOB AND DO THE WORK. IT HAS BEEN A FEW MONTHS NOW AND PIRC HAS NOT CALLED BACK, NOT DELIVERED AN ESTIMATE AND TO MY KNOWLEDGE HAS MADE NO EFFORT TO INSPECT THE DITCH OR THE OTHER WORK I OFFERED PIRC DESPITE PIRC TELLING ME THAT IT WAS INTERESTED AND WOULD GET OVER TO MY PROPERTY TO PROVIDE AN ESTIMATE.

I CALLED ON THURSDAY AND EXPLAINED I HAD A HOME THAT NEEDED THE GRASS CUT. HE GAVE ME A QUOTE OVER THE PHONE AS TO THE AMOUNT AND THAT THEY COULD BE THERE ON MONDAY. HE ALSO MADE ARRANGEMENT'S TO BILL ME FOR THE SERVICE.

I HIRED THEM TO DO WORK AT MY 86 YR OLD PARENTS HOUSE. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN IT OTHER THAN I CAME AWAY FEELING MY PARENT'S YARD IS IN GOOD HANDS. THE RECEPTIONIST AND ANTHONY SEEMED GENERALLY CONCERNED ABOUT PROVIDING THE BEST SERVICE AND PRICES. THEY ARE $20 PER TREATMENT CHEAPER THAN THE LARGE CHAIN FERTILIZING CHAIN DAD WAS USING AND $5.00 LESS THAN THE PREVIOUS LAWN CUTTER.

THEY DID NOT CALL BACK.

WE HAD TWO SNOWSTORMS IN EARLY DECEMBER AND HE NEVER SHOWED UP. WHEN HE DIDN'T COME AFTER THE FIRST STORM (ON A SUNDAY) I CALLED REPEATEDLY DURING THE WEEK TO FIND OUT WHY. AT FIRST HE COULDN'T FIND THE CONTRACT AND WOULD GET BACK TO ME THE NEXT DAY. WHEN I DIDN'T HEAR FROM HIM, I CALLED BACK. HE SAID HE DID FIND THE CONTRACT AND WOULD BE OUT AT THE NEXT SNOWFALL. THE SECOND STORM CAME IN AND AGAIN HE DIDN'T SHOW UP. I LEFT HIM A MESSAGE CANCELING THE CONTRACT AND HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HIM SINCE. WHILE THE PRICE WAS FAIR, ANTHONY HAS PROBLEMS DELIVERING ON HIS SERVICE. I AM UNABLE TO SHOVEL AND HIS LACK OF COMMITMENT LEFT ME IN A BIND.

I HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR YEARS. THEY CHARGE $21 FOR MOWING, AND $167 FOR THE SEASON FOR SNOW PLOWING. THEY ARE VERY EFFICIENT AND CLEAN UP IS ALWAYS GREAT. I NEVER KNOW THEY ARE HERE. THEY ALSO DO A LOT OF WORK FOR MY NEIGHBORS.
