Terrible! A delivery of firewood was received however it was short a large amount. Simple problem call Mazzolla and arrange to have shorted wood delivered. Instead I was told he knew I had had a big bonfire and had given wood to my neighbors. This is moments after it was delivered. I then had to endure a series of threatening phone calls. He's coming to my house with a crew to take all the wood. He's calling the police and having a police escort to my house. These calls were left on my answering machine of which I still have the messages. This went on until I reached Mazzolla Sr. about a week later. I played just one phone call of his son ranting and that afternoon I had the remainder of my wood. And the son has not called back. Mazzolla Sr. did correct the problem, but no one should go through what I did. I would never deal with them again and I would never recommend them to anyone.

Great experience from placing the order to delivery of the firewood. Delivery area left spotless, Pleasantly surprised by two wrapped bundles of kindling left along with my order.

Went very well. Couldn't be happier! Dan was very accommodating and worked with me to unload mulch in two areas of my yard. He was very considerate of the landscape and stopped truck numerous times to make sure the load would be placed where I had instructed. Went extremely smoothly. Mulch looks great and I should have no trouble spreading it in my tree beds. The owner was also very nice and answered all my questions. Dan was very considerate in calling me to tell me he was on his way. Will definitely call them again and would recommend them to my neighbors! They were a real pleasure to work with!!

This is the third year using Mazzola and I honestly don't think I'll go anywhere else. Great owner and staff, friendly and great product at a reasonable price. Every once in a while I'll find something unusual (rubber, rock, etc) but the mulch is perfect and as natural as they come. I prefer natural because it DOES break down EACH year (oh my, some more work) but it's better for the environment and produces great soil in our flower beds. Why is this important? Well since builder all strip-mine the ground for top soil (which btw, you're buying back at your local garden store / home depot), there's never any left. Even in your flower beds. Dig down once and you'll hit clay after 2-3". Building back usable dirt is key to a healthy bed and Mazzola is a great source for the long-term purpose. Enjoy.

I've gotten firewood from Mazzola for two years now, and the quality is consistently good. The wood is all hardwood, well aged, and split to a good size. They also include a pack (maybe 15 pounds or so?) of kindling wood. Both years, the load has actually been pretty large for a third. It fills my rack to bulging and then a decent quantity on top of that. I called on Thursday and had the wood on Friday. They just dumped it in the driveway as requested-- we stack our own. Excellent wood that burns well for a good price. What more could you ask?

From the very first call, Mike was a pleasure to deal with. He took the time to truly understand each aspect of the project so that he could quote the right materials to deliver both the best cost and the best quality for the project. His quotes came in better than other companies in the area. We had numerous deliveries scheduled over a period of a week, and his team delivered on time every time and were extremely professional each time. In addition, once on-site we realized that many of our estimates were off and we needed more material...and more material...and on a short time frame because we had hundreds of volunteers on site waiting to do the work. Again, Mike and his team pulled through with excellent service and professionalism right to the end. Working with Mike on this project was a pleasure because he always kept a good attitude and friendly communication and delivered top notch service at competitive prices.

They showed up promptly and on the same day I placed order. The driver dumped the dirt as close as possibly to my needed location. He left promptly without any damage to my lawn from the truck.

The professionalism of this contact was outstanding - truly exceptional. Mike understood exactly what we were looking for - 100% pure bark mulch, and asked us to let him know how it works out with his recommendations.
