For just plumbing alone, it was almost $5000. Remodeling it was almost $25000. Nowhere did it come near to what they have. That was really outrageous. They were on time.

Price was a bit higher than competitors even with their coupon, but they were able to get me scheduled in several weeks earlier than anyone else. They called ahead on the day of service, and that was appreciated.

They are the best. They are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day if I have an issue. I had surgery and needed a new bathroom. This is an old house and when they started into it they found other problems. It was energy efficient and my gas bill went down by a third. They are cheap but, all of the stuff they use is top quality. I was able to take some of it off of my taxes. I love my bathroom. I think the price was well worth what I got. I would use them in the future for anything I need.

Everyone was very professional, friendly and polite. They wore booties and put plastic covering on the floor. Did the job perfectly and left everything the way they found it. I would not hesitate to call them again if needed.

They came and fixed it and when they left it leaked again.The furnace wasn't leaking in a certain spot until they tried to fix it. Then the furnace started leaking in another spot. Horrible experience. We had to find another company to fix it.

Called to explain the problem and they said they would get back to me. THey called back in 12 minutes, were there an hour later and got the problem fixed. My regular plumber said he might be able to me the next day. H Jack's was very responsive and got the job done. A bit expensive, but they stuck to the original estimate and even helped a little on that.

Quick response and great work as usual. Pleasure to work with. Had them quote moving and repiping a sink in a half bath. Quote was acceptable and job will be completed soon.

I have had H jack plumbing on numerous occasions in the past. Although they are somewhat expensive they have always been very prompt. Recently, I had an occasion to call them again. It was after hours so I expected to pay premium prices. A copper water line had sprung a leak. At a ninety degree junction. I called H jacks as usual very prompt they arrived within an hour. The technician said it would be $500.00. When I baulked at the price the technician relunctly reduced the price to $390.00. While 500.00 was beyond exbortant I felt that 390.00 was still excessive. I had no choice. The repair took less than 15 minutes. The total time the technician was on the premises did not exceed 30 minutes. The next day I called H Jack for reconsideration. I was told they would consult the supervisor and get back to me. My call was never returned. H Jack Plumbing's model is " we want to be your plumber" well H Jack was my plumber. Guess what? Do you want H Jack to be your plumber. It is up to you. UPDATE 12/3/14: The owner of the company wasn't aware that I had called to complain about the price. He saw my review and called me. He offered a reimbursement of $100.

I purchased a service agreement with this company and they did a great job. I have had them do extensive plumbing for me in the past, waterproofing and some remodeling as well. They are always professional.

Came, diagnosed problem and explained it very well. Drained tank and replaced some of the fittings. It has cured the problem. Very professional . I really appreciated the explanation.

I requested the same workmen that my son did because he did a fabulous job over there. He did equally as well over here. He dug up the front yard where he had to put it in and installed it and then they cleaned up very well after they left. They did the best they could with yard you know the mess there. They had to avoid that. The crew leader was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what he was going and where he was going to do it. Like I said they had respect for my yard out there. The guy fixed the yard pretty well. I have not had any leak yet. When I pay for stuff I always think they are little high but you get what you pay for. Like I said because he did such a nice job across the street and he knew what he was doing. He was worth every penny. Just because other people told me he was high I would give him a "B". Quality of work, no problem. They have different crews that work for them I specifically asked for him and they did give me him. I got exactly what I asked for.

The pilot light on my old furnace went out on New Year's eve, 2008. H. Jack's was willing to come out on the holiday the next day to repair the furnace which was over 20 years old. They came out later in January to install the new furnace and have been out at least once a year ever since to do preventive maintenance and fix a few problems. I would highly suggest purchasing the annual service agreement (current cost: $89). It has saved me money over the years.

Everything went very well and it was a pleasure to have them. I have them scheduled to come back in August 2014 to do some work on our second boiler, which is significantly newer than the one replaced. UPDATE: Since I left this review, I have had them back out to do more work and they are wonderful! I will never have another plumber! They are saving me on my electric and gas bills, which have been cut in half. They are always very professional, friendly, and very consider of your home.

They really pushed trying to sell us a new air conditioner. My husband told them we had a home warranty so if we had any issues we would try to use that, but still they tried to sell. Why would we out right purchase a new system when we would possibly be able to use our warranty to cover some of it? They still tried to sell. We have had other people service our air conditioner before and never had a compnay been so pushy on trying to sell a new system.

They tested the toilet to see what was leaking & discovered the old porcelain was cracked and it was leaking right through the toilet bowl. It was at least 50 years old and perhaps older. They had a tough time getting the old rusted bolts out but kept at it until it came loose. Luckily the floor beneath was still good. They had a new low flow toilet in their truck and installed it. The old tank had been attached to the wall but the new smaller one-piece unit did not reach to the wall so they calked the holes for us. They cleaned everything up and we had a new toilet all in a couple of hours. They are always punctual, polite and professional, and go out of their way to fix any problems. They answer any questions you have and don't mind if you watch them work. They respond to any concerns you have following a job to make sure you are completely satisfied with the work. We have an old 100-year-old house that always needs some repair and we will continue to call on Hjack's for any plumbing problem. They also installed our new furnace a few years back and since then have helped us out on several plumbing repairs. We will continue to call on them.

This review is long overdue... We had just bought our house not realizing that we needed a major plumbing project, as first time home owners it is difficult to tell the difference between what "needs" to be and "could" be done. When we realized that we had some serious root damage to our outside pipes I called several plumbing companies to see what was happening and what needed to be done. We ultimatly selected HJacks because they were by far the most responsive and patient. I would like to elaborate on the PATIENT part... like I said - new homeowners - I asked a million questions and requested a few meetings before committing to the project (I wanted to know exactly what was happening and what the options were). The company did a fantastic job of making sure I had all of the information before work began and the VP Pat even came out to make sure that I was clear on the work needed and comfortable with the quote. As for the work: They said they would be there at 8:00 a.m. - at 7:50 the trucks pulled up and at 8 they were ready to go! They completed the project in the time they said they would and kept me updated on the progress. Any time they needed access to the house they rang the doorbell and put shoe covers on. The entire front yard needed to be torn up as well as part of the back. When the project was complete everything was put back and cleaned up just as promised. A comment on price: I feel like they are priced on the higher end for plumbers BUT sometimes you get what you pay for - and when that is serious stuff for your home it is usually worth paying for. Last comment: Since the major project I have had two minor (unrelated) pluming emergencies, each time I called the receptionist remembered me, and was able to get someone out quickly to help us out. That type of relationship with any company is a great thing.

I had a slow leak in my water heater that was still under the manufacturers warranty. I called h jacks and they were able to come that day during lunch as I requested and two guys showed up right on time. They were punctual and professional; called the manufacturer, found a replacement. One guy picked up the new one while the other removed the defect. It took about 2.5 hours. All the services were great but the price seemed a bit steep as I only had to pay for labor. With that being said I don't replace my water heater often enough to know what's reasonable.

Very thorough in the cleaning and tried to trouble shoot why our furnace wouldn't kick on 3xs in the past two weeks.

It went alright until they proceeded to inform us that this was a major project and we would eventually need our entire front lawn ripped up so they can replace the pipes, a service the would require removal of our concrete stairs (which they would not replace). The cost of this service was going to be over 5,000 dollars. Complete shock was our reaction to this estimate. Luckily we received a second opinion from another company and the issue was corrected. No digging required.

They did the job I wanted them to but they tried to sell me products that I didn't want or need. I asked them to pack up and leave. They did fix the leak.

Replaced pipes, later to find out the pipes they replaced were of inferior quality-2 years later all their pipes burst again. Had to call another plumber to replace all pipes.

H Jacks was very good, the work has lasted years without issues. However, the prices were not cheap.

They are expensive but good. They are very responsive and had a quick turn around. They were on time and their estimate was right on target for the work that they did. They were efficient, clean and professional. This was our second time using them. I would use them again.

I think its high priced. We didn’t have any problems with them and they solved our problem. All the guys were just fantastic. It was the worst winter day that you could have ever asked for us to have to have this done. Those guys worked ruins off. It was done within about 6 hours. It went from back of our property all the way to the front. They did a good job.

The initial problem appeared to be a small leak in a pipe. The plumber came out quickly on Saturday and worked to fix the leak and found a second leak. After repairing the turning the water back on, he checked other parts of the pipe and found multiple more leaks. He was able to provide an estimate and schedule the major work for Monday. On Monday, 2 plumbers arrived and worked all day replacing pipes. They made sure I had one working sink, shower and toilet before they left for the day. They returned as scheduled the next day to complete the work. They layed plastic to protect the carpet and cleaned up at the end of each day. Their work was well planned and well executed and very professional. When I asked about the price, they were willing to give me credit for the Saturday repair toward my major repair. I would defintiely recommend H Jack Plumbing.
