Description of Work: All new plumbing from upstairs bathroom to the basement. Walls and ceiling had to be opened to get to pipes. They kept it so dirt/dust was very limited. Repaired walls and ceiling and painted. Cannot tell the patched area from the existing area. Very pleasant workers.

Description of Work: We had a slow draining kitchen sink and seepage thru the basement floor. This area is where the ketchin drain met the main waste pipe under the basement floor. Jacks tried to snake it from the sink to the main waste pipe. No luck, although they certainly tried. The sink stopped draining after 5 seconds of running water or always when running the dishwasher. Then took the next 30 minutes to drain. Jacks was unsuccessful with their snake job. Then gave us an estimate for major plumbing to redo the basement drainage tiles in this area of over 3,000 dollars. A handyman friend, who does some plumbing, put in a clean-out just above where the sink drain pipe joined the main waste pipe. Flows great now, and we have a handy clean out I can unblock with a hand snake if needed. 75.00 was our charge from the handyman. Why couldn't the real plumbers think of that.

Description of Work: The plan was to snake my main sewer and downspouts. Wound up slso needing camera inspections of both which was an additional charge. He was able to determine that my clay sewer pipes were collapsed, which is of course, the worst news possible. He provided repair estimates for both prior to leaving. Very professional and spent alot of time at my house. The price for snaking drains and camera inspection is higher than another large drain company in the area, however, HJacks was able to definitively determine the extent of my drain problems.

Description of Work: PLUMBING AND SINK FIXTURE. NOT SURE OF THE AMOUNT OFF HAND HAVE TO LOOK UP TOO MUCH PAPERWORK. HAD WORK DONE LAST YEAR AND HAVE USED JACKS MANY TIMES BEFORE. ONLY HAD ONE BAD EXPERIENCE OF THEM BEING HOURS LATE BECAUSE OF A PREVIOUS JOB THEY NEEDED MORE TIME ON. IT WASN'T THE FACT THAT THEY WERE LATE, IT'S THE FACT THAT WE HAD TO CALL THEM TO FIND OUT WHY THEY WERE SO LATE. tHAT IS OUR ONLY BAD EXPERIENCE, OTHERWISE THEY DO A GOOD JOB, BUT THEY ARE A LITTLE PRICEY.

Description of Work: Clean and check furnace for winter use. I needed a new filter and they installed one for me at no charge.

Description of Work: Put to much waste in garbage disposal, and clogged the line to the basement, backing up the sink. I wasn't able to open the line with my hand snake. Called H. Jack's Plumbing the next day, met me on my lunch hour and were able to get the clog UN plugged. They recommended using a Bioclean product monthly to eat up the grease in the line.
