This guy, Mike Friel is a con artist. My relatives gave him $2800 in July 2019 to put up a fence, then the excuses started. First, he said that he was sick in the hospital on his death bed. Then, he said that it was too cold outside and the ground was to hard to install a fence. My relatives filed a lawsuit against him, then he asked them to rescind the lawsuit because he was going to put up the fence. So my kind relatives rescinded the lawsuit. This con-man still had more excuses as to why he couldn't put up the fence again. By this time it was 2020 and the Covid-19 pandemic was going on so there was a shortage of raw materials. This dude just stopped communicating with my relatives. My relatives knew that they were conned by this loser, so they just went to a different fencing company to have a fence put up. My relatives sued this ******* (again) and of course he didn't show up for court. My relatives won the court case, of course. Bare in mind, this guy got married in 2019, so I'm sure he used my relatives money to pay for his wedding. This guy has ruined his father's representation because he took the company over from his dad. #scam, #conartist, #loser, #karma Check out Angie's List for more complaints for this scam artist. We got a quote from Mike back in March for a 70 foot vinyl fence to be put up alongside our driveway. Great communication up until we gave him our deposit (about 2/3rds of the contract price). Then - crickets. While we understand it rained quite a bit this spring, we had to continuously follow up with mike to make sure our job was on his radar. 5 weeks after the materials came in we finally got a date for install, which was then moved and moved again (when I say moved, I mean like 5 hours after he was supposed to be at our house). If we didn’t have a hard deadline in our contract I doubt the job would even be done. Once mike finally did show up to complete the job, it was yelling and screaming profanities, arguing with his coworker, and ultimately a crooked fence that feels like you could push it over. It looks terrible, it feels terrible and this fence won’t last through the winter. We are now dealing with a situation where we need to get a contractor to likely uninstall the work Mike did and reinstall it which will cost quite a bit. Save yourself a headache, a possible lawsuit and whatever else, and go with someone else.

I gave the owner, Mike a deposit (50%)of $2,650 on May 24, 2018 to have a fence installed. He said work would begin on 6/14/18 and it would take a few weeks. The contract we both signed said the job would be completed in 45 days. He never showed or called on 6/14/18. I called several times and phone calls were not returned. I finally got a hold of him a week later and he said he was running behind and that he would begin the job the following week. The following week he never showed or called again. I got him to respond and he stated that he would definitely begin the job on 7/11 or 7/12. He never showed or called. I phoned him on 7/12 and demanded my deposit back. He kept repeating that he would begin on 7/13 and hung up on me. Needles to say, he never showed, and again, he will not answer phone calls. I have since hired an attorney. Truly terrible experience with an individual who has no scruples or sense of morality. He has literally stolen $2,650 from me and has no problem with this.I can only say that you should really avoid him, as he is a con-man and a thief. The facts are irrefutable: He was paid to do a job which he never did, and he will not return the deposit money he required up front.
