Dan and his crew are great to work with. He's done several projects for us now - big and small - and we've always been happy with the work. His crew edged a row of bushes that run along the back of our yard, dug a couple bushes out and installed two trees in their place, then mulched the area. The yard looks MUCH better now and we're excited to see the trees come to life this Spring. Dan's a good guy and his crew is knowledgeable and professional.

We've been happy with all the work this company has done for us! We will have them back in the future.

Ferrato was very considerate and conscientious about all details from where to place the pallets of pavers to asking us several times during construction whether or not we were happy with the patio. The patio turned out great. Dan also went the extra mile to finish a walk I had started to the patio. Our yard and patio were neat and clean when the crew left. We couldn?t be more pleased.

This was a big project and Dan and his crew did a wonderful job. They tore out an old beat up 1960's sidewalk that went from our driveway to the back of the house and replaced it with a beautiful stone walkway that extended into a nice sized patio in the backyard. Dan was over several times before he began the job to discuss the details and to make sure he completely understood what we wanted. We felt he was very careful and deliberate in the planning phase. The construction phase took several weeks and was quite messy (the nature of the work - they had to dig up a substantial chunk of land) but the end result was great. The patio looks great and has really changed our backyard. We have now used Dan for several projects and he's the first person we call when we want something done in the yard.

We've used Dan several times in the past and like every time before we were very happy with the work. His crew is friendly and they do good work. Dan is great to communicate with - he emails or texts to let you know when they can start and he follows up to make sure everything went as planned. I would recommend him to anyone looking for landscaping work.

It went perfect. Dan and his men were awesome to work with. They even did extra by pulling the dead host as from other parts of our garden. The arborvitae looks great and I'm so happy to have the extra space in our backyard now for our soon to be three son. I will use them again and also recommend them to my friends and family. Good with a majority of clean-out & trimming however was unable to get root out on most bushes, extremely difficult to contact on phone.

Dan Ferrato and all the people that work for him were very hard working, came on time and were very friendly. Dan was very creative and suggested things that made our yard look far better than we expected. Also, he returned phone calls and answered texts, promptly, which I find to be rare in people that work with us.I cannot recommend for Ferrato any more highly. It really should be A+

Mr Ferrato responded to our request for the removal promptly. He was very professional and courteous. He cleaned up after the job was completed. I would recommend him to a friend.

Very well - 3rd time I have used this company.

I placed initial call to Dan week of June 8th. By June 13th he emailed an estimate and stated he would begin work the week of June 29th. He and an associate arrived on scheduled date and time. They both worked very hard. They took breaks to answer any questions. They cleaned up any mess that was made (very little). They hauled away some extra yard debris at my request and did not charge extra. Dan also recommended a lawn fertilizer specialist to maintain the integrity of his hard work (at my request). Excellent job!

Called Dan on Wednesday July 29th and we scheduled a appointment for Friday July 31st. Spoke with Dan about the job and asked for his recommendations. Dan suggested Knockout Roses and adding 2 Alberta Spruce trees for replacement of older flowering plants. On Monday August 3rd Dan and his crew arrived as I was leaving for an appointment. When I returned home the beds were ready for the new trees and shrubs, the existing shrubs were trimmed and shaped. When the shrubs were in and the beds mulched (black) the new look of the beds was excellent. Dan's crew cleaned up and hauled away the clippings and other debris from the job. My neighbors who were watching were very impressed with the quality of the work and professionalism of the crew. The asked for and received business cards to call Dan for future work in their yards. I would highly recommend Dan's company and will hire them again.

Job was done within a week of request and work was done as I requested. We have used Dan's company before and they do a very professional job. We would recommend his landscaping company to everyone.

Dan and his crew are amazing. They treat your home as though it is their own. I was so happy with the work they did. The crew cleaned up every last branch and weed before they left. They even sprayed bees nests that were living in the shrubs. I would highly recommend this company. They are first class workers and people. I have them coming back for phase 2 I was so impressed with their quality of work.

Dan was responsive and worked with me through the entire process. He returned my calls, gave me a timeline, completed the work, and followed up to make sure everything went well. I changed my mind a few times during the quote process and Dan was patient and understanding. I would strongly suggest giving Dan a call.

It went great! Dan and one other worker completed the work. They worked very hard for two days straight. Dan was knowledgeable and had good ideas on how to improve our yard. We immediately started getting compliments from our neighbors. Dan was professional and accommodating. He was able to add on a few extra things we asked for. We would definitely use them for future work

Dan's company did a fantastic job on our property. Dan did a great job on planting our new plants and recommended a few extra areas to clean up and put some of our plants. Josh and the crew did a great job on our yard, everyone was very detailed in their work and took pride in the project. Every one was very easy to work with, and our yard looks beautiful! We will definitely hire Ferrato Landscaping Inc. again for future projects. This company was very quick to respond to phone calls and emails and got our project started within 10 days. Josh even rearranged the rocks in the yard to,create a walk way and ares of interest. We also like the fact that all credit cards are accepted by this company.

We worked with Dan last summer and were very happy with his work so he was the first call we made when we wanted to build a privacy hedge in our backyard. Dan came out a couple time to consult with us (we're always changing our minds!) and measure the area. He had to wait a week for some dry weather to dig the arborvitaes up then his crew showed up the following Monday morning to begin the job. They removed an old Spruce tree that was overgrown and installed the arborvitaes and were done by 4:30 that afternoon. They also took some extra dirt and added it to my garden and mulched our trees in the backyard without us asking them to do so! The arborvitaes look great - even better than we imagined when we started thinking about the project. Dan is great to work with - communicates well and does great work. We're very happy with the results and recommend Dan highly.

Someone came out to quote a job, but he never came back with a quote.

We had been living for 6 years with an embarrassing front yard that was a pain to mow because it was bumpy, weedy, and had moss and bare patches all over. Matt Grandel came over within minutes of when I called him for an estimate (he happened to be in the area). He explained his idea of what needed to be done more clearly than any other company that I had spoken with for estimates. He took into consideration my overall objectives, budget, and the needs of the space. The work begun as soon as weather permitted and both Matt and his partner worked hard for two days in a row getting the job done. They were pleasant to work with and addressed all my questions and concerns as the arose. They seemed to enjoy their work and take pride in doing a fine job. Now, one month later my lawn is coming in beautifully. The rearrangement of the flower beds looks much better, and the evenness of the new soil they put in will make it a pleasure to mow! I will use this company again for future landscaping needs!

Dan and Matt were responsive to my request for a written estimate, and they were also quick to deliver when I confirmed the order. They brought a beautiful tree that replaced the dogwood that had quickly died after a previous landscaper had planted it. As they worked they discovered that a water line for the sprinkler system had been nicked by the previous landscaper then badly repaired with electrical tape. The poor repair had killed the previous tree. Dan and Matt did a proper repair and planted our new tree. The new tree looks great and we will use them again for our next landscape project.

They were fantastic to work with. We received two estimates and what prompted us to go with them was because they're fairly local and we had a good feeling talking with them as well as their positive reviews on Angie's List. The work was done in several phases over the course of a couple of months.

They responded quickly to my phone inquiry and were very friendly on the phone and set up an appointment for the next day. they came out and looked at the problem and even though they could have offered me a solution that would have been good for their bottom line, they gave me their truthful assessment that I would be better off going with a tile drainage solution instead of the french drain that they could have provided. They were friendly and nice to deal with and quite knowledgeable. I appreciated them taking the time to talk me through the complexity of the issue even though they would not get a return on their time. When my drainage issue is solved I would definitely call them to do some of the next phase of work.

Started using Ferrato Grandel last summer. They do an amazing job. Great attention to detail. We've always done our own yard work but these guys make the yard look so much nicer. Worth every penny.

I am very happy with Matt and Dan. From the beginning, all of my messages and/or questions were responded to very quickly. They showed up exactly when they said they would, and left my yard looking really nice. Think I finally found a keeper!
