It was fine, I am very happy, I've used therm before and I'm using them again. The owner Dan is very easy to deal with and he was very helpful.

We needed some areas painted before putting the house on the market. Ron provided us a quote extremely quickly and came back help us determine how much paint to buy (we provided the paint). Once the deposit was paid and the paint was purchased he started right away and did a wonderful job. He is open to communication about changes or fixes and is very efficient. I'm working from home but he was clear with his plan so I can make sure to be out of his way. We are so impressed with the work and reasonable pricing that we having them quote work at our new house.

This is my second summer working with Ferrato. I recommend them to anyone looking for help with yard work for the following reasons: -Crews work quickly and are detail-oriented. -Crews are respectful and polite while working. -Dan Ferrato is very responsive by text. -Dan visits my property frequently enough that I feel like he knows me and the quirks of the property and is monitoring his crews. -The company's invoicing system is super-convenient. I can pay with a few clicks on my phone. Most important: The yard looks great!

Excellent work. Went above and beyond in their efforts cleaning walls and ceilings beforehand and cleaning up after themselves (after scraping and patching walls. Living room ceiling was ~20 ft high and bedroom ceiling was vaulted. They were always on time and a pleasure to have in my home

I approached Dan because I needed a lawn renewal in the front and a repair in the backyard. Dan was very responsive, knowledgeable and a good listener. We discussed options and decided to Go with sod in the front and aeration and overseeing in the back. His quote for the job was very competitive and Dan provided a project plan with timelines and goals for each step. The work was executed with high quality and Dan was always on top of communication and engagement. I can say he and his team did an outstanding job and I will hire him again next year spring for more yard work.

Super. Dan and crew came for three separate but related projects. The fist time they dug up and moved or potted existing plants in preparation for a new garage. The secong time they made new gardens behind and next to the new garage and reseeded lawn that had been wiped out during construction. The third time they brought loads of a lovely dark (sweet smelling) mulch and spread it around numerous gardens. Every time they did more than was expected, achieved excellent results and cleaned up impeccably. We couldn't be happier!

Dan knows his stuff! I was impressed with how much attention he and his crew paid to detail, including clean-up that left no sign of what was a dirty job. After spraying to kill the existing lawn, they came in and removed the old sod, graded, and put fertilizer down before laying the new sod, and even set up my sprinklers for me. The scope of the project expanded and he had no problem accomodating me, even though it added considerably to what needed to be done. The price he charged was extremely reasonable for both the original and the additional work: weeding and mulching beds and planting an additional tree, which I asked him to do based on how well he had done the sod install. I would use him again with no hesitation and highly recommend his work.

Busy lives, a knee injury, and a lawnmower that wouldn't start prevented us from doing our usual big fall yard cleanup before the snow threatened to fly. We needed help! I logged into Angie's list, read some reviews, and picked a company. The website suggested a couple of other names, so I sent them RFQs as well. As it turned out, that was a smart move. Dan Ferrato responded quickly, assessing our yard within 24 hours. He provided a reasonable quote and he and his crew were able to get the job done within a day of me accepting his bid. They cleaned up leaves, cut the grass, and trimmed the front shrubs. I would definitely hire them again without any hesitation.

Honest business. Excellent customer service. I hired Dan and co to give my front and back yard a much needed total makeover. I got tired of having an ugly unkempt yard. When I moved into my home, it was obvious that the yard had been majorly neglected for many years. The front yard was mostly weeds with two empty flower beds that only had a couple of dead, scratchy bushes in them. The back yard had uneven soil that was hard to walk on and sloped towards the house, causing moisture in one corner of my basement. Dan and his crew came in and completely remodeled my front yard. It has been a game-changer! They tore out the old garden beds and created two new beautiful garden beds complete with a pink flowering dogwood tree, plenty of flowering bushes, and a few kinds of deer-resistant perennial flowers. Talk about low maintenance! It hasn't even been a week, and I can already see the nature becoming attracted to my yard. I am finding all kinds of birds, butterflies, honeybees and alike enjoying my flower beds. Dan also laid some fresh sod in my front yard and now I have the thick, weed-free, green grass that I've always dreamed of. As for the backyard, Dan and his crew gave me some much-needed land grading in problem areas. They also aerated my compact soil and laid some grass seed (I elected not to do sod in the backyard because I have a dog) in the barren areas. They also laid decorate stone on the side of my house and behind my garage, creating nice maintenance-free areas. As a finishing touch, they planted two breathtaking flowering ornamental trees - a Redbud and Okame Cherry tree. I cannot say enough good things about Dan and his crew. They were professional, transparent, courteous, had good communication skills, listened to my needs, showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and gave me a fair price. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. And I will definitely be a repeat customer with fall cleanup quickly approaching us.

Very well. They responded to my query quickly, and managed to squeeze me in around some other jobs in a very timely manner. (I had to get some of the area cleared for a new garage.) They worked with little time for breaks on hot days and completed everything i had originally asked for and much more for the same price originally quoted. They hauled away two truckloads of debris. They cleaned up well, and left the yard looking nice.

The job they do is superb. They are really good.

We were looking for a company to cut grass, mulch three beds, plant a boxwood, and sod the front lawn and tree lawn. We had to get the work done quickly, and we were having a hard time getting estimates as a result. Dan was very responsive and professional, getting back to us quickly. His estimate was very reasonable, and he and his team performed all the work within our tight time-frame. They also trimmed our bushes and blew the driveway clear with a leaf blower. The work was done carefully and very well. He and his team are kind and very considerate. Plus Dan was extremely easy to get in touch with. He texted me updates, and he was patient with all of my questions (either in person or by text). We just hired him again for another project.

Started and finished job as planned. They will complete job once grass has grown. Expert landscaping company.

Ivy tear-out was a monster job but Dan and crew handled well. Arbs look good, all same size. Two not making it through winter; Dan offered to replace in Spring.

Dan responded to all e-mails in a timely manner & work completed to expectation. So pleased with this company we are awaiting another estimate on another project!

Very well. Dan listened to what I wanted, asked reasonable questions to clarify what he should do, explained weather and timing issues, then did the job when it was best. Long distance communication by message text and email was responsive and effective.

Excellent!!!! Dan worked to prepare landscaping layout based on my likes and dislikes - his team was professional and very hard workers - all work done on time. The end product was exceptional!!! I would hire Dan and his team again - and probably will for fall and spring cleanups.
