CIRINO BATH RESURFACING

I had Cirino's refinish my tub 17 yrs ago. At the time they told me it would last over 10yrs if I took care of it the way they advised. So when it needed to be done again I called them back. I didn't have to wait even a week and they were here on time and wasted no time getting to work. They removed the old caulk, stripped the tub, papered over the walls and mirror, and resurfaced the tub. When they were done with all that they re-caulked for me. They even cleaned up after themselves! Very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them. They also said they can do those vinal tubs and surrounds. They did not charge me for stripping because I am a repeat customer.

The bath in a rental property was refinished. Shortly after the finish started peeling off in large sheete. I called many times before I got a response, They finally came out and redid the tub saying an important step had been omitted in the first resurface, Several months later the finish began to peel and chip. There were spots on the outside as well as inside of rhe tub. I called and called with no response at all. I finally called another company to redo the entire tub.

This company had refinished a bathtub for us years ago at a different house. The quality of the work done then was much better than this time around. The finish does not seem as good as the last time.

On one of the bathtubs, the finish is already coming off. The second bathtub has not been used yet. I asked them to come back out and repair it. I've never been able to schedule a time for him to come. He doesn't return my calls or text messages. They even included a 4 year guarantee that is supposed to include lifetime repair.

After looking around for a bit, Tony's resurfacing seemed to be a good value and most members were very happy, so I selected Tony Cirino Bath Resurfacing to re-do my original tub. Calling Tony gets you to his voicemail, and he calls back by the end of the day. This is a Father and Son shop, so any delay is because they are doing work for another customer. I scheduled out about a week with Tony. I described my tub over the phone, which had already been 'reglazed' once and was peeling, and Tony quoted $275. Tony called the day of service and said his previous job was taking long, and he would be about an hour late. Tony's son Joe and his wife showed up, and were very nice and professional. I took him upstairs to my bathroom and he stated that Tony had given me an improper quote, because my tub needed to be stripped of its old coating. I didn't feel that Joe was trying to deceive me, despite the extra $75 he requested for stripping. He explained what he was doing, and why it cost a bit extra. I wasn't upset, because I felt that my tub needed more work because of the existing coating and the damaged spots. Even at $350, I felt the price was very competitive for a job done right. The whole job took just under two hours, and the results are spectacular. There was a tiny bit of plumbing work he told me to do (reattach the drain cover after 48 hours) and he gave me aftercare instructions. They were both very clean and professional, and the product looks simply fantastic. I will echo the sentiments of other posters...the fumes are pretty intense. They bring an exhaust fan for a window, and I have an exhaust fan in the bathroom. I sat in my living room during most of the process, and I started to get a bit light headed with the smell, to the point where I stepped outside for fresh air. Overall I am very happy with how it turned out. It comes with a five year warranty, and Joe stated that coatings will last 15-20 years if taken care of properly. $350 every few years is way cheaper than replacing my original tub!

It's okay. I would definitely ask the re-finisher remove all the hardware from the tub before spraying it... if they don't and you need to replace the shower drain the old fittings and the new fittings aren't necessarily the same size so you'll end up with a circle where the old fitting used to be.

They gave me a quote over the phone, showed up when they were supposed to, did a great job, and charged me what we agreed to on the phone. A great experience.

He called me back quickly after I left a message, quoted me a price on the phone. It was for a rental unit I own. He arranged the time and day with my tenant and she was very pleased. I have not actually seen it yet and of course don't know if it will stand up to being used.

One was from 1928 in very worn condition, but being extra long and deep and architecturally appropriate for the house, we felt the best option was to have it refinished. The second tub was from approximately the late 50's or early 60's, it was quite stained with previous stick-on adhesive type applications. Mr Cirino came out assessed the situation, gave us a written estimate, and descriped the process, time it took and appropriate preparation and timeing, with regard to other construction work on the 1928 bathroom. When the day came to do the work, he and his son came out, prepared the area, cautioned me regarding fumes, and installed an exhaust fan in bathroom window to reduce fumes. The schedule and timing was exactly as estimated and the results are fantastic. He gave us the appropriate care instructions and warned us as to the fact that a dripping faucet is a tub's worst enemy. We were very please with his work.

They were good and thorough. I would recommend them. They were punctual. There was an issue with the plumbing, and they worked on it to fix it to the best of their ability. They did a clean and nice job. Everything was done nicely.

He was excellent, and I was very happy with his work. He returned my call in a very timely fashion. Since I wasn?t easily available on a weekday he came on a Saturday for me. He was very accommodating that way. He was very reasonably priced too.

promptly returned phone call. gave me a price over the phone. arrived when he said he would, Tony and son Joseph did an excellent job on a dull tub. Cleaned up after they finished. left very clear instructions about use and cleaning and the length of time for full curing. I have no hesitation using them again, nor reffering to anyone else.

Tony was very responsive in returning my call and scheduling a time within 10 days to perform the work requested. He was prompt to his scheduled time and performed the work efficiently and timely. What we once thought we had to replace looks brand new. He and his son did a fantastic job!

Tony Cirino was very prompt in returning calls and quickly provided an estimate on the phone. He was prompt in arriving, kept the area extremely clean and neat, did the job professionally, and was very polite, as was his son, who accompanied him. They were true to their estimate, and provided me with a professional statement on care & maintenance of the tub. I was very pleased and would certainly use him again. He gets right to it! He came out again for an extra repair which turned out that there wasn't a repair to be done. He made a wasted trip on my part. He is very dependable.

The tub had been very unsightly, with rust around the drain, worn-away porcelain, and a very dull look. It now looks like a brand-new tub-no rust and a sparkling white finish. The transformation was very striking.

He was very professional and very cordial. He is a great guy and I would recommend him to anybody. He is very neat and very clean. He did fantastic work.

He called back a day later, and I called him again, and he has not called back, and I have not received any messages on our answering machine.

I am disappointed to not receive a call back since other reviews seemed so positive.

Tony came out and was punctual even though the weather was really awful. He covered all surfaces in the bathroom and left the room as neat and clean as possible considering the messy nature of the job! He was very cordial and friendly with my kids. He left detailed instructions on how to care for the tub, both immediately after refinishing and long-term care.

Beautiful work! We had estimates to have our cast iron tub covered with a bath liner... what a mistake that would have been. Tony's work was a fraction of the cost and looks ten times better. The tub looks brand new. The work took him about five hours. The process lets off some heavy duty fumes, so prepare for that. I was eight months pregnant when he did the job, so I left for the day and night to avoid the fumes, but all was back to normal within 36 hours.

The cost for the second bathtub was cheaper than the first. He takes a lot of pride in his work. His workmanship and professionalism were admirable.
