Everything went fine until the contractor, Jon Budway, poorly installed the floor, the tile floor. The tile started to pop-up and the grouting was never completed. The tiles installed are cracked and popping out of the floor. He left dust on the tiled walls and never washed them down. The contractor acknowledged the poor job of his work and then refused to call us or reinstall the floor correctly. I had to drive to his house just to get him to talk to me. He promised over and over again to repair or replace the floor but he refused to call us or discuss the problem with us. I had to drive to his house just to get him to talk to me. He promised over and over again to repair or replace the floor but he refused to call us or discuss the problem with us. The contractor was paid in full for the job. When I was able to talk to him, I told him that we would pay him extra money to finish the job. Never heard back from him.
