lawn mower repair
+ -1 moreI had them pick up the mower in Oct 2006. There were numerous problems with a wrong phone number on the order. Originally they said they would have an estimate within 1-2 weeks. Two weeks turned into two months, while we called a couple of times. We knew some work would need to be performed and we authorized the work, only to find out a couple of months later that the parts were on backorder and that they had the wrong phone number to call us. Work was finally supposed to occur, but it didn't happen until we kept calling and going in person. The mower was returned 4/19, 6 months after we started. Response was that they work on snow blowers in the winter, but 6 months is ridiculous. Mower had to be picked up a second time when it wouldn't hold a charge on the new battery.
Description of Work: I had a riding lawn mower that needed triage to see if it should be fixed, and then a number of issues to be addressed, including tire axle and wheel attachments, sharpening, leveling, new battery, tune up.

+ -1 moreI BOUGHT BOTH A LAWN MOWER AND A BLOWER. THEY SELL TO BOTH RESIDENTIAL AND PROFESSIONALS. THEY ARE EXTREMELY BUSY ALL THE TIME WHICH LETS YOU KNOW THAT PEOPLE ARE DEPENDING ON THEM TO FIX THINGS CORRECTLY. THEY ARE VERY ACCOMMODATING AND FLEXIBLE. YOU HAVE TO BE VERY PATIENT, BUT IT IS WELL WORK IT AND THEY ARE OF GOOD QUALITY. ALL THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE ARE VERY GREAT AND NICE TO DEAL WITH.
Description of Work: I USE THEM FOR MAINTENANCE EACH YEAR ON THE EQUIPMENT THAT I PURCHASED.

Description of Work: I BROUGHT MY SNOW THROWER IN TO BE REPAIRED ON 5-30-02. IT HAD A BROKEN ELECTRIC STARTER. WHEN INFORMED IT WOULD TAKE A FEW MONTHS TO REPAIR BECAUSE IN SUMMER THEY FIX LAWNMOWERS, I FIGURED ON TWO MONTHS. IN JULY I WAS INFORMED THAT WORK WOULD NOT BEGIN UNTIL OCTOBER. IT WAS NOVEMBER WHEN THE WORK WAS FINALLY FINISHED. I FEEL THAT SIX MONTHS IS ENTIRELY TOO LONG TO FIX A STARTER.
