+ -1 moreAfter researching "whole house" generators online we contacted a local provider - Hurley Electric. From the start, all employees were very courteous. The generator had to be shipped and was sent directly to Hurley Electric. Shipping took about two weeks but was no problem since this was a long-planned purchase and not for an emergency situation. Hurley Electric contacted us the day it arrived and scheduled installation. Concrete had to be poured for the generator to sit level so installation was actually a two day process. When installing the actual generator, all employees were attentive to our requests, double-checked all of their work, and were professional and friendly. Everything has worked great. During a rather furious storm two nights ago, we were thankful for the generator! Many of our neighbors lost food and spent hours in the darkness and over 100 degree temperatures. But thanks to the "whole house" generator, 20 seconds following the outage and we were once again enjoying air conditioning, television, Internet and all the other modern amenitities we are used to. Thanks Hurley Electric! Update: Mr. Hurley contacted us last week and inquired about how we held up during the storms and if the generator worked properly. It was really great to have follow-up service. He also gave us a friendly reminder about upkeep (oil changes, checking the gas level, etc.), all with kindness and professionalism. Thanks again!
Description of Work: We contracted Hurley Electric to install a Kohler "whole house" generator. They installed the generator, ensured it worked on all requested outlets/power sources, and set up the needed fuse box.
