they confirmed that the existing sump pump had burned out and cited the history of their service work for us. replaced the sunp pump and upgraded to one with a 7 year warranty versus a 1 year warranty.

They solved the problem. Pete, I believe he is the boss, seemed to be the best with the camera. He found a problem that the first worker who came out with the camera missed. But in the end, they solved the problem and were polite and their costs seem reasonable -- in line with what others charge. I would use them again.

Hofmann Plumbing is a wonderful plumbing company. Responsive, neat, kept costs down to help me. They were our plumbers at another house we owned some years ago and I'll always use them for any plumbing work I need. Top notch!

Developed a leak when trying to fix pop-up assembly on bathroom faucet. Called Hofmann Plumbing and they responded the same day. Fixed the problem to our satisfaction.

They have been in business for many years and they are family owned and operated. They are very truthful and I trust them completely. I know they won't try to fix something unless it really needs to be done. They have also put in a new water heater and disposal for us in the past. They come quickly and call on their way. They are punctual and the employees are very nice and professional. Their prices are usually the same or even less than competitor's.

Hofmann ordered a toilet and grab bar that we selected. Old toilet was removed and hauled away. New toilet was installed. Also, a 12" grab bar was mounted for us. Rich was prompt and efficient.

They've been around for many, many years. I had problems with the company that I purchased it from and they wouldn't install it because they said there was a problem with my plumbing. Hofmann has been around for many, many years. They are an old, reliable firm. They do very good work. Their charges are a little high but the work is good.

These guys were local and I wanted to use someone on the Angie's and they worked out fine.

The service was good. The only problem was that I thought the price was a little excessive. Other than the price, everything was great. I would probably use them again.

The plumbers from Hoffman Plumbing worked very efficiently and professionally. They had to work within a crawl space, which made the job harder and certainly could not have been pleasant. There was no extra charge for that inconvenience. I have asked Hoffman Plumbing to come out before and had a good result that time, too. Hoffman is a professional plumbing company.

I had been given a two hour window for service from 2 to 4 PM. Rich, from Hofmann plumbing, arrived right on time at 2 PM. I live in a townhouse and the water heater is in a rather small cramped closet on the ground floor. I showed Rich the old water heater and then left him alone to do the installation. About an hour and a half later he said he was done. He did a great job. The old water heater was gone. The new one was installed and the closet was immaculate. I had a few questions for Rich about the water heater and some other plumbing issues. He took his time and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. It was nice to be able to not worry about the details of the installation. The total cost was about $710 including tax but I was fully aware of the cost even before Rich got to my place. He installed a top of the line 40 gallon Rheem water heater and it's working just fine. I couldn't have asked for more and would definitely hire Hofmann again for any plumbing jobs I have in the future. I would also ask for Rich to do the job. I was very impressed with his professionalism.

They are professional and courteous. They were here when they said they would be. They called to let us know when they were on their way. We are cautious about who we let in the house, but we trust these guys. They are so nice and courteous.

They were prompt. They came when they said they would and were done much quicker than I thought they would be. Their pricing was very reasonable. They were very respectful about coming into my house.

It went well, they were clean, professional and prompt in returning phone calls. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

I called my HVAC Service Company who recommended Hoffman Plumbing. I then checked Angie's List and the Cuyahoga BBB site to see if Hoffman Plumbing was listed or a member of the Cuyahoga County BBB. I called Hoffman to replace my 75 gal gas water heater on Good Friday after reading the Angie's list service reports. They advised me that they would have to order the 75 gallon gas water heater and, unfortunately, they couldn't install it until Monday. They quoted me a price for the removal,installation of the new gas water heater and installation of a water pan. Their quotation was not the least inexpensive but based on the Angie's List reports, recommendation of my HAVC company and the fact they were a local Westlake company I went with them. On Monday they came as promised. However, the new tank was dented and they suggested that the supplier replace it. On Tuesday the replacement tank was installed professionally.

They were able to add me to their schedule and get to me fairly quickly in a situation where I was dealing with a leak and shutoff valves that would not work. Uncontrolled water leaks are somewhat distressing. The plumber worked quickly and was very careful about leaving the area clean and tidy.

It was an excellent service. They were neat, punctual- the whole nine yards.

They came and took care of the trouble, they were very helpful.

They are always on time, do a responsible job, and are comparable in price.

My experience was excellent. When the technician realized I had multiple problems with supply lines leaking, he went throughout the house and checked every one, as well as checked all the drains and repaired those that were loose. He was polite and courteous and cleaned up everything when he finished. I was very pleased and I thought the price was reasonable in light of all the work he did. I have used this company before and have always been pleased with their work.

We have used Hofmann's 3 times. They are prompt and reasonably priced. There is excellent communication from Laura at the office, who sets up a time, then calls before the plumber comes to allow 45 minutes or so lead time. Have always been able to come to us on very short notice. Of all the contracters we had to use for this patio project, which included moving the AC compressor, siding issues, etc., we were most pleased with the responsiveness of Hofmann's. Would use again in a heartbeat.

Owner pays close attention to what his men are doing, and there has never been a problem.

COMPANY TOLD ME TO CALL BACK TO SCHEDULE AN ESTIMATE. WHEN I DID OWNER WAS NOT IN. I LEFT A MESSAGE WITH THE WOMAN WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE. HE DID NOT CALL BACK. A FEW DAYS LATER I SAW THEIR TRUCK ON THE STREET AND TOLD THE DRIVER ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE. STILL NO CALL.

THE SERVICEMAN, DOUG, WAS VERY HELPFUL IN HIS SUGGESTIONS ON PROBLEM SOLVING. HE WAS QUICK, NEAT, ON TIME AND VERY PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH THROUGHOUT THIS PROCESS. THEY MADE TWO TRIPS AND TOOK CARE OF ALL OF THESE TASKS FOR A REASONABLE COST (NOT THE CHEAPEST, BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR IN THIS AREA) AND WITHOUT DELAYS OR ISSUES. OUTSTANDING SERVICE IN ALL RESPECTS!!
