dJohn and his team arrived on schedule, evaluated the house and made some on-the-spot recommendations that I accepted. They protected the siding and porch surface and made very little mess (everything was cleaned afterwards, in fact...it was better then before they arrive). The Team was knowledgeable and did not waste time. There was a particularly small crawl area that they wedged themselves into to get the job done right. They were conscientious about every aspect of the project and made sure that I was happy (even though I was least knowledgeable person on site!!). I read another review that said they they were about the same cost as a competitor and scored them a 'D' for price. This was not my experience. I had three people come out and look at the job. John was the lowest priced (one of the competitors was over twice the cost of John!). The third was 15% higher and could not get to me for 4 months. John was able to fit me into his busy schedule within 10days of meeting me face to face. Needless to say, I will use Johna an his team ANYTIME I have a spray foam project. I have recommended him to two of my friends and will continue to do so. You will love working with John, you will love his price and you will love his work!!

John and his crew were great. They did a good job making sure there was even coverage and if anything, I got a little more than I paid for. Anytime you have someone perform a service you are not familiar with, it's good when the job is done and you don't feel ripped off. These guys were efficient and clean and got the job done within just a couple of days of me calling to schedule. I have had an estimate done for additional work and would not hesitate to use them again. Based on my research, Foam Crafters is your go to spray foam insulation company in the Northeast Ohio.

It was good. I liked that they came in, did the job and they were gone in one day. It thought the price was high but not that much higher than a different insulation company was.

I contacted several foam insulation contractors after reviewing reports on Angie's List. I did not alert any contractor that I was a member of Angie's List through this process. Jon returned my call promptly and set up an appointment and arrived as scheduled to view the project. A written estimate arrived by email and in the mail as promised. I selected Jon based on our interview and his willingness to register with the City of Strongsville as a contractor. This is a requirement for all work performed within city limits and inspected by the city. Scheduling was haphazard due to my fault. I am doing the project on my own and waited until the last minute to contact Jon to schedule the project. After passing rough framing on Monday, I contacted Jon to set up an appointment. Due to a weather cancellation, Jon was able to schedule me the same week. Jon and his crew arrived at the worksite promptly and set to work. We reviewed the work to be performed and his crew leader Steve amended the work at my request to address additional concerns I had. The crew worked without inconvenience to me and as I watched the application of foam to the cathedral ceiling, I noted their attention to detail. Work was completed on time with clean up performed to my satisfaction. Jon checked with me personally to ensure I had no issues with the job or cleanup of the site. While I have seen this type of application on HGTV, the costs associated with my specific application were below those of fiberglass insulation. With foam applied directly to the underside of the ceiling, I was able to avoid venting the roof, ensuring an airspace was between the roof and insulation and adding a ridge-vent. All reducing labor and material costs. City inspection went smoothly with the specific information that Jon supplied on foam and building code compliance. Wish I could do the whole house!
Description of Work: Provide all labor and materials to apply foam insulation to a cathedral ceiling and 3 walls in a sunroom addition. Create a foam wall and insulate roof portion above existing house where sunroom ties into the house. Included masking, structure prep work and scaffolding assembly/tear down. Apply spray foam 1.2# open cell foam to the structure according to manufacture specifications. Trim foam where necessary. Treat windows and doors. Seal headers, plates, corners, and butt joints with 45 year latex caulk.
