I called a local plumber to ask about an odor in my basement. They seemed distracted and asked if I could call them back in the afternoon. I was discouraged and wanted to find a decent plumber, so I logged into Angies List and found Fazio Sewer and Plumbing. They were rated highly, so I gave them a call. They listened to what I had to say, and they showed up within a few hours since they were close by working another job. Joe took the time to answer questions, and gave me his opinion of the possible cause of the odor. I am taking his advice, which I think is pretty good advice. Joe never charged for the visit. I definitely have a new plumber, and anyone else I know that needs a plumber will get the number for Fazio from me. It was nice of them to try to help me figure out my issue. There is no doubt they are rated highly for a reason.

Nice person and personality. Came out to do the estimate (on a Holiday) and ended up doing the job right then and there! Very professional.

It went very well.Joe was very professional, explaining what needed to be done and snaked and flushed non broken part of lines. He was very patient with the questions we asked, answering everyone of them. As part of the job, Joe had to dig up three bushes and after he made the repairs replanted them, they never looked like they had been moved. After the job was completed Joe cleaned up the site and it looked like it had never been worked on.

Identified problem during cleaning of downspouts. Fixed issue with cracked pipes. Basement water problem is gone.

The tech came out and checked out what I thought was an internal water line leak as I would hear tapping noises after running the water in the kitchen and upstairs bathroom. Tech explained that what I was hearing was the expansion and contraction of the plastic (pvc) water lines against the wood joists and assured me there was no leak. Didn't even charge a service call fee and I asked for a card. If I ever have a plumbing problem, I will be calling them!!

I am VERY pleased with the service we got from Fazio Sewer and Plumbing and would not hesitate to use them again in the future and recommend them to others. They were here promptly and explained everything they were doing as they went along. They even explained ways to keep our problem from happening again in the future. Called Fazio's because the toilets would not flush properly. Joe came and used a small snake, and thought that he had broken through the blockage. Re-installed the toilet and tested it, and it appeared to flush properly. Unfortunately, by the next morning, the blockage had re-occurred. Called again, and Joe indicated since there was no cleanout provided in the main drain line, he would have to cut the main drain, use the BIG snake, and re-assemble it with a cleanout access. He could not come that day, which was fine as we needed to clear some working space around the drain in the basement. Joe came back (on Sunday of Labor Day weekend), did the work, and since then, the drains have worked as if they were brand new. The blockage appears to have come from tree roots, and Joe provided recommendation as to how to prevent this in the future. The service was excellent, the pricing was fair, and the charges were less than the estimate provided. If I ever have another plumbing emergency, I will certainly call Fazios again.

When I called Joe I was rather upset; for the 2nd time in 3 weeks I had 2" of water throughout the basement. Granted, it was clean water, not sewer, from overflow due to rain storms, but I had just finished cleaning all the floors from the first storm. He came out immediately on a Saturday, and worked into the dinner hour. He removed the tree roots that were blocking the drain, and when the water ran out, he even sponged down the floor. Such a nice guy! I will use him again, and recommend him to anyone!

Excellent! I was given an estimated price over the phone when I scheduled the appointment based on the number of downspouts I have. Joe came out as scheduled and immediately went to work. When Joe was done he told me that it wasn't necessary to clean one of my downspouts due to its proximity between two other downspouts, and didn't find it necessary to clean the drain between my house and the storm sewer in the street. Joe is an honest service provider and the end result was that the cost came in less than expected.

Fazio came to the house, looked at the problem, then went to the hardware store to pick up a part. The plumber returned nearly 2 hours later (from the store a mile away) and worked on the leak. A couple of days later, the leak returned. I called the warranty company again, but they told me I would owe another deductible payment to Fazio to come back. I don't know whether this is Fazio's policy or the warranty company's. Before I was willing to pay a second deductible I watched some You Tube videos on how to fix a leaky faucet and fixed it myself. I should have done that before I paid Fazio for the first visit.

Excellent service provided by fast efficient knowledgable employees The gentleman came over within the hour that he promised he showed up at my door wearing booties to protect my flooring and finished installing my sink and garbage disposal within a half hour. I would recommend this company to everyone.

Joe explained to me possible solutions to fix the problem, and did not up sale me on something that I really didn?t need. Also, there was no fee for the estimate. Very knowledgeable, and provided me with cheap do it yourself solutions.

It went very well. We've used Joe Fazio before, and we'll use him again when the need arises. He is everything you would want in a service provider: friendly, professional, competent, and quick.

Contacted the service provider in the late afternoon and they were able to fit us into their schedule that evening. Got a phone call to confirm the appointment as well as a call 30 minutes before arrival. Joe arrived and diagnosed the issue quickly and in less than an hour he snaked our main line to the street and cleared the blockages. He even recommended some tips for biannual maintenance to help prevent future blockages. We will definitely contact Fazio again for professional plumbing needs again.

There were no troubles with scheduling. There were no additional fees beyond the cost of the deal. I thought they were reasonable and did really great work. They were able to complete the work in no longer than an hour and the work was pretty quick. I had no troubles with the company or service. I have even dealt with them additionally since outside of Angie’s List as well. I have even recommended them to several others.

Joe showed up well before the appointment and began working even before I got there. I was very pleased that they agreed to work on a Sunday. It was the only day warm enough to be able to work, since we had postponed it three times because of the snow and cold. Joe's wife, who manages the office, was very responsive and accommodating. Joe worked very hard and successfully opened the sewer lines. He is not the least expensive, but he certainly works hard for his money. I would definitely use him again.

They did not introduce themselves nor their company. The guy got out of his truck and just said "water heater?". Really? In this day and age, this is what passes for professionalism? I don't think so.I explained the symptoms, they verified that hot water was running through the pipes (which was not the issue, the issue was capacity of hot water) and while admitted to me that the unit likely is failing due to age and lack of upkeep from previous owner, they declared that the unit was working properly to the insurance company.Okay, so I'm out $75 to verify something I already knew (that I have hot water) and have no additional information as to why I run out of hot water much faster than just a few months ago. I sure won't use them to actually replace my tanks (which seems to be my next step) -- or any other work that I have. The simple fact that he didn't introduce himself (nor did his assistant) put him on bad footing to start out.The sad thing is that the people on the phone were very nice and responsive, even calling ahead when they knew their schedule was behind due to weather.

Never scheduled the service.

We had a couple pipes burst due to the freezing temperatures. It was difficult to find which pipes had burst since there wasn't easy access to the attic area. We contacted Fazio Sewer and Plumbing late Wednesday afternoon and they came out to the house around 6:30 PM the same day. There was only one shutoff valve for the entire house so Joe worked until 8:45 PM to install another shutoff to the second level so we would not be without water. The next day Jack came out and found the exact location of the burst pipes staying until late evening. Due to the confined space and configuration of the attic Jack required assistance so both he and Joe came back on Sunday morning to complete the job. They installed new pipes and fittings and put insulation around the pipes. They worked tirelessly and never once complained about the late days they had to work or having to work on a Sunday. Both individuals were friendly while still being professional. Joe's wife, who handles the scheduling was so nice to work with as well. Should we ever need plumbing services in the future, they will be our first call.

I really appreciate the Fazio's team today. My initial contact was through an HSA warranty (which doesn't cover frozen pipe bursts). Ms. Fazio returned my call multiple times. She returned my call on a sunday to communicate when she'd be able to discuss scheduling. She was able to get Jack here on Monday morning. This is during the fallout of the cold snap, so everyone was super busy. Jack communicated well. He cut through the tile wall very cleanly, diagnosed the problem. He expediently retrieved parts and materials and fixed the piping. He did a great job. I really appreciate how responsive and helpful the Fazio team has been. Thank you!
