Joe came out to clean the sewer after I had purchased a special deal. There was a larger problem as water was seeping from a broken pipe under the floor. After explaining the problem I was given an estimate and he returned to complete the work. This included digging up a part of the cement, replacing the damaged pipe and putting in an above

 groung clean out. The area was recemented .  This is a rental property and the repair was done in a timely fashion.

I was very impressed with the plumber, his knowledge, courteousness, and professionalism. 
Most significantly, I had been told by a different plumbing company that it would take up to a week to do the above mentioned repairs.  The other company said they would have to go into the wall to fix the sink drain and would have to go through my kitchen ceiling to fix the shower.  They quoted me $1500 to $3000 to get this done.  I was horrified. 
Fazio's was honest and got the job done promptly and for an honest price.  I have had no problems with the repair.

Mr. Fazio and his wife are extremely nice and responsive. This review is not to bash them at all, but only to provide what happened. When Mr. Fazio came out, I explained the issue. I have 3 different sewer drains in the basement. I asked him to snake the ones in the utility room since that is where the water was coming up. He stated he could not and no one SHOULD snake those areas because of sewer gas. I understood about sewer gas and explained that I have had that drain snaked before. He only wanted to snake the one drain that goes out to the street (which the city does for free).
Mr. Fazio told me to pour Copper Sulfate in the drain to try to kill off some of the roots. I have a root issue that needs to be addressed sometime in the near future, and Mr. Fazio gave me a quote for jackhammering the floor and getting the roots out, but at the very least, Mr. Fazio should have snaked where I asked him to snake before jumping right in to breaking up the floor (which I know will have to be done).
As soon as he left, I started washing dishes and the drain started flooding! This had never happened. I called back right away. They are really busy. We could not get our schedules together, so they said he may be able to come back at the beginning of the year since they were closing for the Holidays.
Meanwhile, I put the Copper Sulfate in the drain as he suggested and every time I flushed, washed clothes, dishes, ANYTHING with the water, there was a big mess in the basement.
I called the city. They came out right away and told me the plumber should have snaked the other 2 drains like I had asked (they don't snake those areas because they are my responsibility). The main drain was stopped again.
I called Roto Rooter because I could no longer wait until the beginning of the year. They came out right away. Again, I was told the other plumber should have snaked out the 2 drains I had asked him to snake. They snaked through all 3 drains (big job) and now the water is no longer coming up, drains are clear and the sewer smell is gone!
The job may have been bigger than he could handle because Roto Rooter was there for hours and they even used a camera to see where the blockage was.
As I said, Fazio's Plumbing is a good company. They are very nice and responsive and I believe they really wanted to solve my issue.  I would use them and would recommend them for jobs that are not as big and messy as my sewer issue.

This was part of Home Warranty service, so I paid only the deductible.  I had to wait a few days to get an appointment with Fazio Plumbing (since they were very busy), but I didn't mind that since the problem wasn't urgent and also because of my prior positive experience with this company.  Joe came at the scheduled time, and replaced the toilet flushing mechanism and unclogged the bathtub drain.  He also checked to make sure there was no leakage around a second toilet that he had repaired during a prior service visit. 
(In the days after the flushing mechanism was replaced, I noticed water leakage around the inlet to the tank and I had to contact warranty company again.  Since Fazio Plumbing was not available (due to vacation), warranty company sent another provider for the repair.  The technician said the nut around the inlet needed to be tightened, which he did.  He also replaced the rubber "flap valve" inside the tank.  It hasn't leaked since). 
In addition to the warranty services, Joe was kind enough to install a handheld bidet that I had purchased.  He did not charge for the installation (he rightly said he did not want to be liable for leakage etc. since these sprayers are notorious for leakage problems because most of them are not very well-made).  The sprayer has been working quite well, as long as the control valve is turned to off position when not in use, as recommended by the manufacturer.  If the valve is left open, the sprayer head does leak, but I see from online reviews that this is a known problem associated with this sprayer. 

Joe was very professional and polite.  He had to install all new plumbing after vagrants ripped out all the pipes.  He was right on the mark with his estimate and worked all day to complete the job.  The only glitch was a shutoff valve which was plastic started leaking two days later, but I called and his partner Jack came and replaced it that day with a better metal valve under the warranty.  I would definatley recommend him and this company.  Good people.

After experiencing drain problems with 2 toilets and reviewing ratings in Angies list I called Joe. Joe came and looked at each toilet and each shaft and determined there were no drainage issues. The problem was with 2 very old toilets. The Fazio's promptly scheduled a date to replace each toilet with Gerber toilets. After 2 weeks I can honestly that I have never been more completely satisfied with a plumber.  Thank you!  David Marchi

I originally called to have two drains cleared and was very pleased with quick response time and excellent service.  While clearing the kitchen sink drain they noticed that the garbage disposal had a small leak and provided a quote for replacing the unit.  About a month later the kitchen sink drain clogged again and I called to have the drain snaked and the garbage disposal replaced.  Despite a busy schedule, they were able to juggle things around to move my appointment up two days. Upon arrival they installed the garbage disposal for less than the quoted price and snaked the sink drain at no charge!
The excellent work and commitment to customer service will keep me coming back to Fazio's for all future plumbing needs!

I used Angie's list to narrow down vendors for the work I needed performed, called a few and dismissed them for various reasons, and gave Fazio the contract based on price, firm experience, and responsiveness. Joe & son spent one full work day and Joe spent half a day completing the concrete application and clean-up.

The gentlemen arrived on time.  After about 15-20 minutes they found the problem.  They were very professional and offered common sense recommendations.

Over the years I've had a reoccurring problem with a slow draining storm sewer.  I had it snaked out several years ago, however, that person did not reach the house with the snake (180 feet from the road). I even installed a sump pump as a safety backup.  Well a few weeks ago I heard the sump working after a rain storm.  At that point I searched Angie's List and found Joe.  On his first visit he got 80 feet in and hit an obstruction.  I dug it out and he returned in a few days and proceeded to clear the run to the house.  What a mess of roots he got.  We then ran water through the basement drain to make certain the system was working.  What a feeling of relief  
to know the job was done right.  Joe, also, provided good information on how to keep the system working properly over time.  I thought his price was very fair, especially for two trips.

The job went extremely well.  No surprises and they told us what preventive measures we could use.  Very pleased with the work performed.

The Fazio folks were excellent to work with. They showed up on time, were diligent and polite, performed the work that was required without attempting to up-sell, and were forthcoming about potential issues in the future and what I could do to avoid the problems myself. And they were quick! Great experience, will recommend them and use them again.

No problems at all. Joe and his assistant were on-time, professional, and courteous. They stayed a bit late to finish the job, and left the site very clean. The total bill was extraordinarily reasonable, given the amount of work done and the time spent. Joe has been to my house several times for drain cleaning and plumbing issues, and I've always been very pleased with his work and his prices. Will definitely keep using him whenever I have plumbing and drain issues.

I used this company, previous, through my home warranty and was assigned them again.  It's a family business and they are probably the nicest, most thorough, fair plumbers I've had the pleasure of using.It was a father/son team who did the work on my "new to me" house, aged 52 years old.  They were courteous, helpful with my questions, and did extra jobs (caulking) for me that shouldn't have been included in my warranty claim, but did it to help me make my first home functional.  I would use them even without my warranty!

The service was done as a home warranty claim, so I only paid the deductible.  However, I specifically asked for this provider due to positive prior experience.  I noticed the leak on a Saturday while checking the crawl, called warranty company and asked for Fazio Plumbing to do the service, which they obliged but told me that I probably won't be hearing from the provider till Monday since it was the weekend.  But surprisingly, I got a call from Fazio Plumbing later that day, and I was told they were working weekends to clear backlogs and would be able to schedule my service  the next day (Sunday) itself.  This was great news since I was anxious to get the leak fixed as soon as possible.

Joe came over the next day (a little late, due to an emergency service call they had to attend to in the morning, I was told), diagnosed the problem promptly (which involved going to the crawl to inspect the leakage, and pulling the toilet) and took care of the issue by replacing the worn out/displaced wax seal.  He was professional, prompt & courteous throughout, and showed me exactly what was going on.  I checked the crawl couple of weeks later, and, as expected, the leak was no more and everything was completely dry. 
I am very happy about the prompt service that was done right, and won't hesitate to call this provider if I need plumbing/sewer service again in the future. 

This is a really nice company to deal with.  They are friendly, responsive and eager to do the job.  I definitely will call them for any plumbing issues that come up in the future.  They were able to quickly figure out why we were unable to light the pilot in our water heater.   The work was completed a day sooner than I had thought which made the painters happy.  They had hot water for clean-up.  I do not know the dollar amount of the repair as this was an insurance claim from a home warranty company.

I utilized the services of this company through Angie's List Big Deal offer.  The company came out in a timely manner and did the required work, checking all plumbing areas in the house. One of the problems was the laundry room would fog up and heat up like a green house whenever the hot water tank wuold run.  They discovered that some of the problems that I thought were plumbing issues  with the hot water tank were from a block chimney that could cause carbon monoxide issues  and presented a potential fire hazard. They did all the plumbing work and advised me to have the chimney's checked.

When our hot water tank stopped working the home warranty company referred us to Fazio's as their service provider.  Joe Fazio came out to the house and gave an estimate as well as explaining how the process worked to my wife.  From the time they came out to the house to give the estimate to the day Joe and his son came back to install the water tank both Joe and his wife were in regular contact with us giving updates and ensuring that they would return our hot water as soon as possible.  Given that the home warranty company dragged their feet ordering the tank and getting approval for the claim Fazio's really made it a priority to get the new tank installed ASAP.  They even came out on a Saturday afternoon and working into the evening.

I am very happy with the quality of the service and the install that Fazio's provided as well.  Joe had to move the hot and cold water lines as well as the vent pipe to accommodate the new tank and he took his time and made everything look nice and made sure it was properly connected.  They cleaned up after themselves and left the place looking exactly as it did when they arrived.

I did not rate the price on this review because I didn't pay for the work so I don't know if the price Fazio's charges for a new tank or installation are comparable to other plumbers.  I will say that I had to pay for some things that were not covered by the home warranty and I felt that the prices for those charges were definitely reasonable.

Overall I would definitely recommend Fazio's Sewer and Plumbing.

In my first review I stated that I wouldn't hesitate to call Joe if we ever needed a plumber again. I had occasion to do so when a new toilet was leaking from the bolts where the tank meets the bowl. Joe's wife called me about two hours before the scheduled time to let me know that Joe had finished early on the job before mine and was on his way. He spent about an hour or so adjusting the bolts and fixed the leaks. Apparently these bolts can be quite touchy and need to be adjusted pretty precisely, not too tight or too loose. We are very happy that this relatively minor problem is now taken care of., and will call Joe again should we need to.

I called Fazio Plumbing and spoke with Mrs. Gehan Fazio (she was terrific).  Joe Fazio was out the next day to evaluate the problem, a broken drain pipe in front of the house.  He gave me a verbal estimate and an assurance that they would begin within 2 weeks.  The next day I received a written estimate and contract.  They started the job within 2 weeks of my first call, finished in a week.  Very professional and punctual.

I would recommend Fazio Plumbing without reservation.
