Description of Work: Excellent work on complete stone chimney rebuild. The crew discovered and informed us of structural damage that others missed. Excellent work on interior stone facade installed above mantle of fireplace. Workers were courteous and highly skilled. Protected interior and cleaned up after job was completed. I would highly recommend this company for any masonry needs.

Description of Work: They replaced our old gas fireplace and installed a new one for us. They arrived own time and although it was a miserable day, were very professional and got the job done within about five hours. They had to install a new firebox and chimney as well as doing some electrical work and rework some of the gas line. | |The previous fireplace was very inefficient and not safe to deal with; the new one is a lot more efficient and looks much better. We are very pleased with the work and price from the Chimney and Masonry Service and would use them again.

Description of Work: I got an estimate. When they came out and got into the job they realized something did not need to be done so they called me and deducted it off the bill. The choices to match the existing painted brick were good and no one can tell there has been a rebuild.

Description of Work: Phone call made in late April and returned by provider. Appt. made. Person came out a few days later to give estimate. told me he would be mailing me estimate within the week. Waited week and then called office. Woman checked and said no written report had been received from employee who came out. Said she would contact him so I could receive estimate. Never heard from office or person who promised written estimate. I expected some kind of communication. NONE EVER RECEIVED.

Description of Work: Called to ask about services, was told they couldn't guarantee they could work on my chimney this year that they are booked two weeks out. I asked if they could at least have someone review the information I had from my other two estimates to know whether or not they might be able to fit it in this year. Was told I might be able to have someone contact me, that they would try. I understand that this is a busy time of year, but someone should be available to speak with me about the job to determine whether or not we would be wasting time having them come out for an estimate if it's a job they couldn't complete this year.

JOHN ANGHILANTE AND COMPANY PROMPTLY RETURNED MY INITIAL CALL, PREPARED A BID, AND PERFORMED THE WORK, ALL WITH GREAT CARE.

 + -1 moreTHE COMPANY MATCHED THE BRICK VERY WELL EVEN THOUGH THE ORIGINAL BRICK WAS DISCONTINUED. THEY WORKED QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT WAS RAINING WHEN THE JOB WAS BEING COMPLETED, SOMETHING RAN DOWN THE SIDES OF THE CHIMNEY. AS SOON AS IT WAS PRACTICABLE, THEY RETURNED TO REMOVE IT.
Description of Work: THE BRICK ON THE TOP SEVERAL ROWS OF OUR CHIMNEY HAD TO BE REMOVED AND BEBUILT DUE TO DEFECTIVE BRICK.
