We are very impressed with this company. We noticed significant roof damage, and many shingles were missing. They came out the same day and gave us an estimate. We accepted the estimate, and they returned the next day and did the job in a few hours. They did a great job. We highly recommend them and will be using their services again in the future!

I set up the contract in October. He told me they'd be out in a few weeks, but it was only a small job, so it should only take about a day to do. I waited and waited, and called back, and they just kept telling me that they'd call me when they were ready. They called us at the end of December, the weekend before Christmas, while it was snowing. We told them that was no good. They finally came out at the end of January, and just showed up, with no call ahead of time. They did the roofing, but didn't do the gutters. I spoke to them, and it took them weeks to come out. Again, they came out with no appointment. I don't think that this small job should have taken so long to get done.

I hired another company that bid slightly cheaper to replace a roof, but the overall experience with Brad Smith Roofing was very good. Diane returned my email requesting an estimate the same day, and an appointment was made with Bill Blevins two days later. Bill arrived on time and performed a thorough inspection of the roof and gutters. He was obviously experienced and knowledgeable. Their price was about 5% higher than another company I hired though. I would give them a try again if I need remodeling work in the future.

STARTED ON TIME. THEY WERE DELAYED IN THE FINISH BUT IT WAS COMPLETED TO MY SATISFACTION. EVERYTHING CAME OUT VERY NICE. THE FINAL PRICE WAS MORE THAN THE ESTIMATE. THEY NEED TO GIVE BETTER ESTIMATES.

Overall, a very good job. Very polite. Thorough and clearly stated job estimate and up-front statement of additional work that might be necessary. I had to call to confirm that my deposit had been received and that I was scheduled. Once I was scheduled, they arrived and finished the job promptly. Wished it was less expensive. Had to clean up a few nails from my gutter.

They did the work in time and did a good job, however the price increased dramatically since they felt that all of the plywood needed to be replaced. It was difficult for us to decide whether the plywood needed to be replaced. There were other additional costs related to skylights and siding. It would have been better if we had known all these costs ahead of time. They should be able to let us know these in the contract since they do these things all the time and not us.

NEAT, CLEAN, JUST AN ALL AROUND EXCELLENT COMPANY.

I CANNOT MAKE ENOUGH GOOD COMMENTS ABOUT THE PROFESSIONALISM AND JOB WHICH THEY PERFORMED. THEY VISITED US 3 TIMES PRIOR TO BEGINNING WORK. OF THE 3 CONTRACTORS WE INTERVIEWED, THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES WHO WENT TO CHECK THE ATTIC. THE 2 OTHER CONTRACTORS ONLY NOTICED 2 STACKS ON ROOF AND COMPLETELY MISSED ONE. THE SKY LIGHTS WERE AN EXTRA, HOWEVER THEY TOLD US UP FRONT OF POTENTIAL PROBLEMS WE MIGHT HAVE AT TEAR OFF SO WE DECIDED TO REPLACE THEM. THE WORK WAS DELAYED FROM ORIGINAL SCHEDULE BECAUSE OF WEATHER, BUT THEN COMPLETED IN 2 DAYS. CLEAN UP WAS EXCEPTIONAL AND THE CREW WAS TERRIFIC. THEY WERE NOT THE HIGHEST PRICED OF THE 3 COMPANIES WE INTERVIEW. COMPANY FOLLOW-UP HAS BEEN TERRIFIC. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BRAD SMITH ROOFING.

SCOTT WAS TERRIFIC TO WORK WITH- KNOWLEDGEABLE & PROFESSIONAL. THEIR QUOTE, HOWEVER, WAS MUCH HIGHER THAN OTHER COMPETITORS. I WOULD STILL CONTACT THEM FOR QUOTES ON OTHER JOBS.

BRAD SMITH, THE OWNER, CAME OUT TO DO THE ESTIMATE. HE WAS VERY HELPFUL & CLEARLY VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEIR PRICE WAS SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER THAN OTHER ESTIMATES WE RECEIVED & WE ELECTED TO USE A DIFFERENT CONTRACTOR.

SALESMAN KNOWLEDGEABLE, THOROUGHLY SURVEYED HOUSE PRIOR TO ESTIMATE. OFFICE STAFF WAS COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY. WORK WAS DONE AS SCHEDULED; CREW WAS THOROUGH AND CLEANED UP AFTER THE WORK. CREW CHIEF INDICATED WHERE THEY WERE SHORT ON TRIM MATERIALS. OFFICE STAFF HELPFUL IN SCHEDULING FOLLOW-UP & ENSURING WORK WAS COMPLETE BEFORE PROCESSING FINAL PAYMENT.

EXTREMELY RARE TO FIND AN HONEST, HELPFUL REPAIRMAN LIKE THIS.

NO WORK PERFORMED. REPRESENTATIVE WAS TIMELY WITH THE FIRST APPOINTMENT. THE REPRESENTATIVE WOULD NOT RETURN CALLS OR GET ESTIMATES AS PROMISED. WHEN FINALLY REACHED AFTER WAITING 2 WEEKS WITH MULTIPLE CALLS, THE REPRESENTATIVES REASONING IS THEY ARE TOO BUSY. I HAVE WASTED TIME IN THE FALL TO HAVE ROOF REPAIRS DONE, DUE TO PROMISES THAT THE CONTRACTOR COULD NOT KEEP. I HAVE EXPERIENCED FURTHER DAMAGE WHILE WAITING. THEY APPEAR TO BE VERY PROFESSIONAL, BUT ARE OVEREXTENDED AT THIS TIME AND SHOULD NOT BE RECOMMENDED. I AM GIVING F RATING ON ALL AS THE SYSTEM IS SET TO HAVE ALL FIELDS CHECKED. I CANNOT RATE THE PRICE, AND QUALITY TO BE FAIR.

WE NEEDED OUR 2 CHIMNEYS FLASHED AND SOME OTHER MINOR ROOF REPAIRS. BRAD SMITH QUOTED $2,700.00 AND HIS COMPETITOR QUOTED $450.00. THE QUOTES WERE FOR THE EXACT REPAIRS.

WORKERS WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND DILIGENT. THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE RIGHT KIND OF REPLACEMENT WOOD WITH THEM, SO THEY WENT TO A NEARBY HOME DEPOT TO GET THE RIGHT KIND. THEY COMPLETED THE WORK IN A TIMELY FASHION AND CLEANED UP AFTERWARD. THEY EVEN SWEPT OFF FRONT PORCH. THEY REMOVED ALL OLD MATERIALS FROM PREMISES.

WE CALLED SMITH ROOFING TO DO AN ESTIMATE FOR A COMPLETE TEAR OFF AND RE-ROOF OF OUR HOME. ANOTHER COMPANY HAD QUOTED $10,500 AND WE WERE NOT SURE IF IT WAS A GOOD PRICE. THE GENTLEMAN CAME OUT 7/20 MEASURED THE ROOF, SAID HE WOULD NEED 5 TO 7 DAYS TO COMPLETE AN ESTIMATE, SINCE WE HAD EXTENSIVE CARPENTRY WORK. HE HAS NEVER COME BACK OR CALLED. CALLS TO THE COMPANY 30 DAYS LATER, SAID THEY WERE RUNNING BEHIND, SINCE IT WAS THERE BUSY SEASON. WE STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THE COMPANY TO DATE.

ARRIVED ON TIME FOR APPT., BUT DIDN'T FURNISH ESTIMATE PROMISED IN WRITING.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD AND POLITE, THEY DID A GOOD JOB. I WAS VERY PLEASED.

EXCELLENT. THE OWNER, BRAD SMITH, ARRIVED ON TIME. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COURTEOUS. HE CREATED A WRITTEN ESTIMATE ON THE SPOT THAT WAS VERY COMPETITIVE WITH OTHER COMPANIES. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. THE WORK WAS OF HIGH QUALITY AND CLEAN UP WAS FANTASTIC. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

THEIR PRICING WAS OKAY, IT WAS AROUND THE SAME AS THE OTHER PRICES I GOT. THEIR CALL BACK WAS PRETTY TIMELY. THE ONLY THING WAS, THEY WANTED TO PULL OUT MY THREE VENTS AND PUT IN FIVE, THEY SAID I DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH. THE OTHER ESTIMATES I HAD DONE DID NOT SAY NEW VENTING WAS NECESSARY.

GREAT JOB. CLEANUP EXCELLENT. ALMOST WOULDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY WERE HERE. GREAT COMPANY AND COMMUNICATION. WOULD HIRE AGAIN. LOWEST OUT OF FOUR ESTIMATES.

VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY. FROM ESTIMATE TO THE FINAL CLEANUP. THE UNPLEASANT SURPRISE WAS THE DECAYED CONDITION OF THE DECKING WHICH HAD TO BE REPLACED AT ADDED COST. BRAD SMITH SHOWED THE DAMAGED DECKING TO ME AND EXPLAINED HOW IT COULD HAVE AN ADVERSE AFFECT ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE NEW ROOF. I DECIDED TO HAVE IT REPLACED.

I DID NOT END UP HIRING THIS COMPANY BECAUSE ITS ESTIMATE TO REPLACE A SKYLIGHT WAS EXTRAORDINARILY HIGH COMPARED TO OTHER ESTIMATES. MOREOVER, WHEN I ASKED IF THE ESTIMATE INCLUDED THE DISCOUNT FOR ANGIE'S LIST MEMBERS, I WAS INFORMED THEY AUTOMATICALLY GIVE THAT DISCOUNT TO EVERYONE B/C EVERYONE IS A MEMBER NOW A DAYS. I FOUND THIS DISINGENUOUS.

THEY HAD VERY GOOD SERVICE. THEY WERE ON TIME AND HAD EXCELLENT CLEAN UP AFTERWARDS.

BRAD SMITH WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. THE COMPANY COMPLETED ALL WORK IN A TIMELY AND CONSCIENTIOUS WAY. THE WORK WAS CLEANED UP AND HAULED AWAY. STACY IN THE OFFICE WAS VERY PLEASANT AND KEPT ME UPDATED ON THE PROGRESS OF THE WORK. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THAT THE ESTIMATE DID NOT INCLUDE THE CONSIDERABLE NUMBER OF ROTTED BOARDS THAT HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE ESTIMATE INCLUDED A PRICE IF BOARDS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, HOWEVER, MANY OF THE BOARDS THAT WERE REPLACED WERE EASILY VISIBLE AND COULD HAVE BEEN SEEN AT THE TIME THE ESTIMATE WAS MADE. IT WOULD HAVE ALLOWED ME TO HAVE A BETTER IDEA OF THE TOTAL COST OF THE JOB BEFORE I SELECTED THE ROOFER.
