Called for estimate for partial roof repair and ideas on improving ventilation. Went with another company.

We had 6 different people who came in here to give us estimates. They are the only ones who would take on the job. In fact, one of the other people just said that he had to go out to his truck and he left and didn't come back. Brad Smith is the only company who would do that for us. The work that they did, once they got here, was fabulous. Definitely "A" work. However, we had some problems getting them here. We contacted them in September to come out. I called them once in October and they still didn't come out. Finally my husband called and yelled at them. It was the end of November when they finally did the work. The workmen themselves were great, but we had issues with the scheduling department.

An excellent transaction. Brad Smith Roofing is a high-quality, completely professional and trustworthy contractor. Their rep was great to work with and their crew was totally experienced and good at what they do. Five months after the installation I realized that the gutter guards were not capable of handling the heavy crop of fine particulate from my large trees. They came out and inspected it, they agreed, and they gave me a full refund without any hassles. The roof is attractive and well ventilated (they installed the 'Edge' vent system).

They sent someone out right away. If we had a strong rain from a certain direction water would enter the window frame. Roof looked OK, Josh took off some vinyl siding above the window and found the problem. Sent out two carpenters to fix the problem.

Excellent and thorough job on the roof. Extremely responsive and attentive to details. Made us feel very comfortable. Had a person on site at all times to answer questions throughout the process. I would recommend this company. I think they subcontracted to someone else for gutters and the siding repair. That is where the punctuality and overall rating dropped to a B. Clean up was OK. Still finding gutter nails around. Had to have someone come out long after job to do another sweep (but... they did come out and do a sweep with few questions asked). The work the gutter crew and siding crew was good - just plagued with delays in communication which wasn't a problem for roofing part of job.

I have nothing but glowing comments. They are top notch, were the most thorough and had all their bases covered. I had first used their services in 2012 to replace a skylight. I have very high standards. They were so professional and left such a good impression that I knew I would hold them in high regard when the time came to replace my roof. I worked with Drew Smith. He was knowledgeable, laid back, professional and not at all pushy. He was very good at putting things into Lehman's terms. He took more time to explain everything than any of the other companies. He showed me all the literature during the estimate so I could physically see what they were talking about. Drew explained what other roofing options are out there and the issues his company has experienced should and warranty issues arise. He worked very hard with me to help bring the project into my budget while not sacrificing quality. For example, I was able to choose OSB plywood boards, rather than CDX laminate plywood boards that are $30 more per board. Unlike many other roofing companies that gave me estimates, Drew climbed up onto my roof, went into all the interior and exterior crevices, and took photos to justify all expenses. Drew provided six different quotes on six different types of roofs and left it to me to decide which option I wanted to choose. I chose the top of the line GAF Timberline roof. This is the only roof that came with the 25 year labor warranty and a 50 year material warranty, that is transferable once if I sell my home. Their crew was excellent. I didn't hear a single swear word from them and quickly came to trust them. I felt very comfortable leaving my house and knowing it was in secure hands. Before they started anything on the roof, they did a phenomenal job covering my landscaping, windows, decking and any other area that could be damaged. The work started, there were probably 20+ men on the job and everything was meticulously timed out. They have a system and boy did it work. They also cleaned up every day before they left. If I had allowed the job would have taken three to four days to complete. I had a clause added that the roof could only be replaced if there was absolutely no chance of rain or high humidity, which deterred any chance of mold spores to grow. Drew and his team respected my wishes and my criteria. A fluke leak did occur from a skylight after the work was done. Drew was out to my house the same day and the repair was made within 24 hours. This is exceptional. I have already recommended them to six other people who have also ended up hiring them.

Scott was timely and professional when he gave the estimate. Crew was timely, professional, and respectful of our property. This is the third time we have used Brad Smith Roofing and will continue to use them for future work.

He did a great job. He actually quoted us price that was initially higher than the final cost, it was a really nice surprise.

It was good. I interacted just basically with the original walk through guy and their billing department. I wasn't here when they did the job but when I got home it was done. That is always nice. I don't really have any reason to not give them anything but an A overall. I want to give them a B just because it seemed expensive but I didn't get any other quotes so you might as well give them an A. They didn't damage my roof. They called me back within an hour so that was good. The guy showed up when he said he was going to.

We called the company and were able to get an estimate about 5 days later. We wanted to proceed asap with the repair, as we are selling our home. The workers squeezed in our job much sooner than we had anticipated, much to our great delight. Two men arrived, introduced themselves, and immediately went to work. I was so thrilled with their presence and professionalism that I baked them cookies! When finished, everything was taken away - including the cookies. We would definitely deal with this company again for any future repairs.

This company has a great reputation, and for good reason. Work was done on time as promised. Workers did an amazing job of finishing in one day. Impeccable clean up afterwards. I have nothing but good things to say about this company.

I mostly spoke with Cindy and Josh. They were both polite and professional. They got back to me in a timely fashion and once I signed contract came quicker than I expected. I see a lot of complaints on price on Angie's list. They were on they higher end but I feel sometimes you get what you pay for. I contacted other companies that didn't respond or just wanted to replace my roof without even seeing it first. I would recommend Brad Smith Roofing and use them again.

Consultant came to look at roof. Said would provide estimate. I emailed him two weeks later, said he had been busy and would get back to me in a few days. Have not yet had anything from him. Decided to use gridiron guys! Very happy with them!

I contacted several roofing experts to come out to a home I was going to purchase to inspect the roof because my home inspector suggested there may be shingle failure. When I contacted Brad Smith roofing, I was told it would cost me $350.00 to come out and 'walk" the roof! This was totally unreasonable, being that I found several other roofing companies that charged anywhere from $85.00 to no cost! I would not use Brad Smith Roofing for any job!

Brett arrived earlier than expected. Looked at everything inside and outside. Advised me how to repair it for much less than what he would do it for, but offered to return and do a larger repair if his suggestions do not do the job. Just need to do his repairs and wait for another rain to see if it works. Appreciate the honesty and tips, and no cost estimate. Will definitely call them for any future needs if necessary.

Contacted Brad Smith Roofing for an estimate to roof my house, install new gutters, and put siding on my garage. The experience was a pleasant one, from the initial contact, through the arrival of Josh Rees, their project manager, at my house. He's personable & knowledgeable about the varied aspects of that business. He's a definite asset to Brad Smith Roofing. But, due to a warranty issue, I went with another roofing company. I also want to point out that I have no doubt they would have done a stellar job for me. They're a quality outfit & i appreciate the time that was spent with me.

My experience has gone very well. The pricing is reasonable and I have been pleased with their services. They have great customer service and I would recommend this company to others.
