Dan took a much ugly front yard and created a beautiful walkway, porch and landscaping walls. Dan is a very personable and a good person to work with. His workmanship is spectacular. He pays close attention to the details. The job started by Dan removing the sidewalk and existing landscaping curb. The house has a side loaded garage so the walkway went from the garage to the front door. The length of the walkway 35 feet, as it got to the half way point the width expanded to 8 feet deep. He then trenched the walkway area very deep maybe 18 inches in depth to make sure that the pavers would not shift. He then placed stones in to the trench and spent many hours pounding tightly into the trench. Then he placed smaller stones on top of this and pounded it in again for many hours until it was exactly right. He then laid the pavers done. The pattern of the pavers were challenging and Dan made it look amazing. He spent time making sure the pitch of the walkway and porch area has a small pitch to ensure water would run off towards the grass. He tested the pavers to make sure it did. He then placed up the landscaping walls on both sides of the house and the walls are perfectly level. Then he filled in the sand between pavers to place the finishing touches of the paver walk area and porch Dan transformed the front of my house from a unclean, ugly area to a beautiful area that me and my wife now frequent sit on outside enjoying life. Dan also works well with other contractors that were at the site. The irrigation system needed to be re-worked do to the trenching and Dan worked together with the irrigation team which enabled continuity with the project. Overall I wish I could add photo of before and after on this page to show what a fantastic job Dan did.
