In spite of his busy summer schedule he managed to find a time for the work in the following week after providing the estimate.

Brian has installed trim for other rooms in my house. He has always been articulate, professional and honest. He did an excellent job installing the trim and doors. A closet door he installed works better now than when the original contractors first installed it. He pays close attention to detail and strives to make the trim look as good as possible. He has always been honest as to problems and the best way to fix them. It is obvious high quality is a priority with every job I have hired him for.

True North was excellent. They were very conscientious, patient, efficient, and clean. They vaccuumed behind them and left everything ship shape. They were respectful of the property and me: no smoking, cursing, or loud music. His thoughtful approach had a huge impact on the project. What I thought I wanted to do is not what we ended up doing and it ended up bettter that way. He helped me think through everything and advised me. He also did not mind that I took a long time to make decisions.

Trim had to be installed around the windows, doorways and ceiling. My house is an older house and installing trim is difficult. Bryan did an excellent job. He explained what had to done and immediately notified me of any problems. Bryan is detailed oriented, professional and friendly. The windows look wonderful! Also, the time line he gave me (he was working about 1 1/2 to 2 months out) was accurate. I've had him do work for me in the past and will definitely hire him in the future.

When I originally called Bryan about the job, he was honest and told me he was working around 2 months out. As soon as an opening became available, Bryan called to set up a time to start working. He was very thorough and detailed about his work. He kept me updated on any problems or concerns. He even encouraged me to check on his progress. The trim ended up looking better than I even imagined (especially around the window.) The project took around 1 1/2 days to complete. Bryan cleaned up after himself at the end of each day. He was always friendly and extremely professional. His prices were also very reasonable. Will definitely use him again.

He was very creative and put a lot of extra time into the project and held to his estimate since the work took a lot more time than he anticipated. I would highly recommend him.

The whole process was great. Bryan met with me and we discussed what I wanted. I wasn't entirely sure about all the specifics, so he left me with some books. He was very patient along the way and asked a lot of questions to make sure we were both on the same page. Communication is key in these situations, and Bryan is a good communicator. As the job proceeded, he filled me in on what he had done each day and asked questions in preparation for the next day. One day I noticed he was putting 2x4s in on the railing, only he was putting them in vertically when we had agreed on horizontal. This is sometimes what happens when you have a client like me who is changing her mind up to the last minute. Bryan was very apologetic and corrected the problem immediately. The rest of the work went smoothly. In the end, we have a beautiful deck and stairs that greatly increase the appeal of our backyard.

We had a cabinet come loose from the wall. Bryan came out, fixed the cabinet and it now works great.

We called Bryan to see if we could get an estimate on replacing our porch lattice work. He came out while we were at work to look at the job, then we talked on the phone several times to select specific materials. He was friendly and a good listener, and he had good ideas. He was working on another job, so we appreciated that he fit us in before the weather got bad. It took him one day, and he did a fantastic job! Very nice quality.

We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom and had called another roofing company to determine the source. They came back with a quote of $595 and a major replacement of some flashing around the chimney. We couldn't believe that our 5 year old home built by a reputable builder would require this extensive work. So we called Bryan at True North. He responded quickly and determined that some caulking had dried up in a crevice on the roof. He recommended we have it resealed and see if that fixes the problem. He returned quickly to repair the caulking and told us to call if the leak persisted. Well...so far, so good.

Bryan was prompt when called, showed up at the scheduled time, fully explained everything to be done, and was very professional. The work was completed exactly as he said it would be and when he was finished there was no mess left to clean up. Except for the repairs and the painted trim, there was no evidence that he had ever been there.

We had a good experience with Bryan. He came on time every day and always cleaned up after himself. He is very nice to deal with.

Range hood and dishwasher installation was fine, but plumbing fixtures were not. Bathroom sink leaked, which installer said he didn't want to go get supplies to complete installation. Note: other supplies were obtained and included in the amount paid. Toilet seat was broken during installation, not disclosed by installer and not discovered until later. Another individual was hired to repair sink and toilet seat.

Excellent communicator, did exactly what he said he would do and he works quietly.

I was impressed and grateful that he was willing to come out on a Sunday to do this job. He was on time, very professional, and did an excellent job. He gave me a quote over the phone (before we agreed to him doing the job on Sunday) and he did not charge me extra for Sunday work. I would definitely hire him again for another job.

WE HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH BRYAN FRANC. HE RESPONDED IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER, WITH THE ESTIMATE, THE QUOTE, AND THE WORK PERFORMED. HIS PRICES WERE EXTREMELY REASONABLE, AND I FEEL THAT HE WAS AN INDIVIDUAL OF GREAT HONESTY AND INTEGRITY. WHEN WE NEEDED HIM TO HOP ON A JOB BEFORE HIS ORIGINAL ESTIMATED STARTING DATE, HE WAS ABLE TO WORK US IN AROUND ANOTHER JOB, AND DID SO GRACIOUSLY. WE ARE ALSO EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK.

BRIAN IS VERY PERSONABLE AND PROFESSIONAL, HE RESPONDS TO PHONE CALLS IMMEDIATELY. HE STICKS TO A STRICT SCHEDULE. AS FAR AS WORK GOES, HE IS VERY CAREFUL AND DOES THE BEST HE CAN. OUR PROJECT WAS A LITTLE DIFFICULT, BUT HE DID A GOOD JOB. ONE DRAWBACK WAS, WHEN HE REFINISHED THE ATTIC VENTS, HE PUT A LADDER ON OUR PORCH ROOF AND HE DRILLED SOME HOLES IN THE ROOF TO SUPPORT THE LADDER, AND THEN WHEN HE WAS DONE HE TARRED THOSE HOLES, BUT DIDN'T COMPLETELY TAR THEM SO THE ROOF LEAKED. I CALLED AND HE CAME OUT THE NEXT MORNING AFTER THE LEAK AND RE-SHINGLED WITH OUR SHINGLES SO THAT THEY MATCHED. EXCEPT FOR THAT, EVERYTHING WAS FINE. WE WOULD USE HIM AGAIN.

BRYAN WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH. HE WAS VERY FLEXIBLE AND COURTEOUS.
