The Drainworks

Cleaned out the main sewer line from the house to the main sewer. Had to replace the drain connection in the basement as cleaning the line to the main sewer had never been done. The house was built in 1965 and had never been done. The man was EXCELLENT, professional and very knowledgeable. Also, his electric powered snake was clean and didn't leave tracks in the house anywhere. He was concerned to make sure he didn't make a mess in the house.

Great. They were out very quickly to provide an estimate and were out in a week or so to complete the work. They were extremely punctual and courteous. They got the work done quickly and tested. They did not hit any of our irrigation lines which was very important to us.

Not only did they do good work (we've used them for years), when the problem first appeared it was an emergency situation, and even though they couldn't come out immediately, they arranged for some plumbers from another plumbing company in Westerville to come and help us out until they could get to the job. We are, as always, grateful for their kindness and consideration (and the guys from the other plumbing company did a great job too)!

He came out to grind out some tree roots from the main line, but his cable was not long enough to do the job completely, so he thought it was better that we use someone who had a longer cable. He didn't even want to try and do as he would leave debris in the pipes. He didn't charge me for coming out. I appreciated his honesty.

We originally had Jeff come out to verify our suspicion of a crushed drain pipe. Sure enough we had a crushed pipe. Jeff offered two options (with estimates of each), repair the crushed area or replace to the underground storm system. We had had extensive landscaping done which entailed heavy equipment running over the full length of the line, so we elected to replace the line since there was a high probability the line was crushed on down the line. After talking with Jeff and him taking the time to fully explain our situation and options for the drain pipe, I talked with him about a French drain in our backyard. Again, Jeff took the time to fully look at our problem, explain options and provide an estimate. The installations were scheduled and I could not have been more pleased with the installers. On time, extremely courteous, and they took great pains in removing and preserving the sod to lay back down. Also, the price for the work done was very reasonable.

Owner, Jeff Sayre, came and gave us a quote which was fair. They first opened the sewer line in basement. Then we had them back to work on downspouts. They repaired one and replaced the other underground downspout, which they did in one day, replaced sod and did a fantastic job! They were professional and kept us informed at every step. Cathy, who answered the phone, at the company was polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this company

The Drain Works crew showed up as promised and worked very quickly and neatly. Our lawn was carefully cut so the sod could be replaced, the new ditches dug by machine (away from the trees that caused the damage to the original underground drainpipe), the new, larger pipe laid and connected to the appropriate downspouts, the dirt filled in, and the sod replaced. A crew member found me and asked if there was somewhere we could use the extra dirt displaced by the pipes and they put this excess dirt in some flowerbeds that needed raising for us. They also gave us very good instructions on how to treat the sod for the next 10 days and by following their instructions we can barely see where the new pipe was laid one month later! There was absolutely no collateral damage to our yard in spite of the use of large machinery and the nature of the job.

On the first visit, they arrived on time and worked efficiently to clear the bathtub and two sink drains. The service tech, Shawn, was professional and polite and explained what the problem was and what he was doing. Everything seemed fine but then two days later the bathtub was once again very slow to drain. I called them and they sent Shawn out again that afternoon. He found the source of the problem - greasy clogs from the kitchen blocking the point where the kitchen and tub drains meet. He snaked the line and was very careful to prevent making a mess in the basement. I would use them again and will recommend to others.

I called them and they were able to come out the next morning. The worker was professionally dressed in a uniform from the company. He was courteous. He cleaned the drain out and gave me some advice about keeping it clear. He was careful in his work habits and considerate about the workspace.

Arrived within a two hour time frame as promised. Worked efficiently and explained well what was happening.

Very well; serviceman explained exactly what he was doing from start to finish, including how he could tell where there was a break in the drainpipe.

THEY WERE GREAT. WHEN THEY CAME IN HERE, WE HAVE A VERY LARGE YARD, THEY USED A SOD CUTTER, AND LIFTED THE SOD OFF. WE ALSO HAVE A IN GROUND SPRINKLER SYSTEM AND THEY HIT NOTHING WHILE WORKING.

Jeff was on time and did a god job. He recommended follow up work that was completed by another contractor.

The drain was full of tree roots and even had a piece of copper tubing the previous owner apparently tried to use to clean the drains with stuck in it. Shawn's snake kept getting caught in the area where the tree roots were. But he was persistent and continued to work on them until we got the water draining well. There is however some of the pipe that I will need to replace soon. Shawn was a real professional and did a good job. It took a little over 3 hours to clear satisfactory.

I was really disappointed with them. I talked to them about the problem and said they could send someone out. The man that came had an irritated attitude and said he couldn't do it and charged me $40 for no work.

They sent one man to do a two man job and I had to help him. I don't believe the technician was knowledgeable in working with the sanitary line. However, he was prompt and professional.

Called about midmorning day after Christmas hoping to get someone to come out sometime that same day. They were very courteous on the phone in that they re-arranged a non-emergency appointment in order to fit us in about mid-afternoon. Jeff cleaned out the drain, and recommended later camera examination and line repair in the future since this was the second time in the last several years we've had problems with this drain (tree roots are compressing the pipe). Professional and courteous.

Their response time for the estimate was very quick and in line with other companies I contacted. They were the first to evaluate the job and quickly turned around the estimate. They increased pipe diameter and quality for improved drainage and to avoid possibility of pipe cracking or shattering. The work is outside. They had to set work date based on other job commitments and mother nature, which I had expected. They kept me informed of when they would be there to work, and I am completely satisfied with work done. A plus was the extra dirt from digging they incorporated into my flower beds. What a nice extra! They saved me the time of doing it!!

Called them yesterday at 4:30, and they came today at 9:30. Jeff was very punctual and professional. He showed me what was happening inside the sewer clean out, and spent exactly the amount of time needed to get the job done without incurring any overage. I even got a 90 day warranty for the work performed. I would recommend calling Drain Works for any plumbing needs. (The only reason I gave them a B on price was because I had someone do it last year for $135, but I had to book them 2 weeks out. Waterworks wanted $210 for this job).

Excellent. I had a gutter that was overflowing. The Village Handyman recommended this company to check the drain tiles since they could not come out. Problem was some roof flashing that had come down and was covering hole to downspout. Shawn found that. But I had him snake the drain tiles and cleaned them out. He checked to make sure water flowed out. Because it flowed he did not run a camera up to check for breaks. We decided to wait on that since the water flowed well. Shawn worked quickly and left no mess.

My experience with Drain Works was positive. I was able to get an appointment on the same day of the call, which was great because it was a minor emergency. I was given the time of 12-2 that Shawn would be at the house. The office called to advise that he would be delayed by about an hour -- which was okay for my schedule and very professional for them to call. Thank you for that! When the work was completed, I had a few other, unrelated, questions regarding our bathroom sink. He was very help in suggesting how to prevent clogs/build up in the future.

They gave me a two-hour time period in which they would arrive and Shawn arrived at the end of it, but within the stated time. He was courteous and professional and had my drain cleaned in 15 minutes. He was very conscious of preventing a mess/cleaning up afterwards.

They were very good. They even put on the booties over their shoes each time they came in. He was here for at least an hour and a half. He was very careful about everything.

We called Drain Works and they made an appointment to come out the next day. Shawn arrived promptly. The gutter downspout was not draining and water was running down along side the house and not to the street causing a large hole and wetness on the basement wall. Shawn dug up the area and saw the drain pipe was not connected to the line. He reconnected the drain pipe to the downspout and cleaned the drain line of roots and debris. He did a great job. He was very thorough and checked the line to see if it was running properly. I would not hesitate to call Drain Works again. We were very pleased with the work.

This is the second time I have used this company for this work. I have trees that I refuse to get ride of so I have my drains cleaned out every 2 years. They are efficient and quick. I called for an appointment and got one right away. I will use this company in the future.
