The Drainworks

I had to call them to come back out when 4 days after the original work, my sewer overflowed into the basement. The first technician spent only about 45 minutes working, but the second visit took almost 2 hours. I was not charged for the second visit and The Drainworks willingly came back to do the job correctly.

They were prompt and professional. I would use them again in the future!

They scheduled my service within a few days of my call, they called prior to my appointment and arrived on time. They explained the problem, which fortunately was not as bad as I feared. The problem was fixed quickly and professionally. The cost for resolving the issue was very reasonable and they even gave me tips to avoid the issue in the future.

They did a really good job. I would definitely give them A's across the board. I talked to him on the phone and he was very responsive. The price was very reasonable.

Very professional and courteous from start to finish, showed up on time, worked through a light rain, and cleaned up the mess. Just what you would expect from a service company, and far better than you usually get.

They were on time and professional for the estimate. We needed approximately 125 feet of drain line replaced (from downspouts and sump to street). However, they were about $200 more expensive than another Angie's List "A" contractor, so we did not hire them. They estimated $1250.

It now works properly, without backing-up or flooding the driveway!

They did a great job. They said they would be out between eleven and one, and they were. They were here early and they cleaned out the drains, and now they run properly. The guy was very friendly and explained what he was doing.

Very well. They cleaned up. Came out when they said they were going to come out. Their prices are very reasonable.

They said there was soap residue, didn't really take anything out. They recommended for me to have other work done to clear any possible tree roots in the drain. I'm not sure if I'd use them again.

They showed up on time (always appreciated !) and indicated what they were going to do to diagnose the problem. They worked for about an hour and got the line opened again. It was full of roofing nails and debris from my recent roof replacement. They were professional, answered all my questions and cleaned up neatly before leaving. I would definitely call them again if I have any more problems.

We called them and they came right out. They knew exactly what to do. They were great. They were very friendly and professional and they cleaned up after themselves. He was very careful not to get dirt anywhere.

I thought they were very professional, they showed up when they said they would and made sure everything was back to where it should be and everything working properly.

Ninety ft. of line was replaced with thicker, wider pipe. They tunneled under our sidewalk so they could tie the new line into our old curb hole to save us the expense of having a new hole drilled. Our sod was rolled up very neatly and replaced after the work was done. The excess dirt was placed around our foundation and graded away from the house. They also tested the new line with a hose to be sure it was working properly. We were very pleased with the work and you can hardly tell they were even here.

Real well. Recommended I change the pipe out because it is crushed in places. Smart move in the long run probably.

They were very responsive and came out and cleaned things up. The price was reasonable.

They were helpful, prompt, courteous and communicated well throughout the process. They actually had to snake the drain twice, but in the end the problem is solved. They cleaned up well, I would use them again. The price is high because they did have to return after the repair to snake the line again.

They came out to look at the job but only looked at the downspouts. When I asked them about the drainage system I wanted installed to properly drain the water away from the house, they informed me that they do not do that type of work. They would have to hire a subcontractor to do it for me. At no time was I informed that they used subcontractors for that type of work. That's why I called this company in the first place.

Our toilet wasn't flushing properly, and plunging wasn't helping. We thought we would have to have it snaked. The tech came and looked at it, and didn't think snaking would help. We only paid a trip charge, which seems like a lot just to have someone stand there and flush your toilet repeatedly, but it was also cheaper than paying a snake charge (est at several hundred dollars) if it wouldn't have made a difference.

They did a good job for us and I would recommend them.

Jeff came out within a day of our call. He was very courteous and knowledgeable, explained the entire process, stopped the water from gushing out of the line.

As always, the folks at Drainworks are quick to respond to a phone message. Jeff came out promptly as scheduled, did the work efficiently and explained the result to me in a way that was easy to understand.

Jeff provided an estimate--calls were returned promptly and the work scheduled within a week. The crew was timely, thorough, open to questions, knowledgeable, and took care in what they did, as well as the area afterward.

Jeff was recommended to me by a local plumbing company. Called them on Monday, came out Tuesday. Walked through my issues as I saw them, was left to work on his own from there. Not usually the way I do things, but Jeff impressed me so much with his sincerity and demeanor, I knew he was the man. Jeff completed all work quickly and professionally, explained everything to my wife prior to departure, drew a diagram of the layout for my drains and left no evidence whatsoever he was ever there. Then took the time to call me personally after completing the job and walked me through everything that was done as well. Extremely impressed by Jeff and his service.
