WE AGREED UPON THE DATE FOR THE WORK TO BE DONE THEN A CHANGE IN MY PLANS REQUIRED A CHANGE IN THE SCHEDULE. THEY WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING TO THE RE-SCHEDULE. WE AGREED ON A TIME OF DAY FOR THE WORK TO START AND THEY COURTEOUSLY CALLED AHEAD AND ARRIVED IN THE WINDOW OF TIME AGREED UPON.. ONCE STARTED, THEY PUT and quot;BOOTIESand quot; OVER THER SHOES WHENEVER THEY CAME INTO THE LIVING AREAS.THE THREE-MAN CREW (FRANK, LLOYD AND jOHNNY) WORKED WELL TOGETHER, QUIETLY, AND WITH LITTLE IDLE CONVERSATION AMONG THEMSELVES AS THEY DISPERSED INTO THE HOME AND TO THE OVER-GARAGE FURNACE. THEY WORKED CONTINUOUSLY AND TOOK NO BREAK, MID-WAY INTO THE JOB, THEIR PROJECT MANAGER. MATT WITTE, STOPPED TO REVIEW THE WORK PROGRESS. ALL THE DUCT VENTS WERE PLASTIC-SHIELDED DURING THE WORK. THE SEALING WORK WENT SMOOTHLY. TO DETERMINE THE CHANGE IN FLOW VOLUME,MEASUREMENTS WERE MADE PRIOR TO AND AFTER THE WORK THE ENTIRE JOB TOOK ABOUT 2-1/2 HOURS, INCLUDING CLEANUP. THE FINAL RESULT INDICATED A 75% REDUCTION IN LEAKAGE.VOLUME.. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK AND AWAIT ITS BENEFIT. I RECOMMEND TACOMA ENERGY FOR THIS WORK.

Matt performed energy auditing service, promised to give me a detailed report on energy conservation, and insulation recommendations in two weeks. I called in 2 weeks for the report, no response. After two months, I called Matt again, he said he just mailed the report. I waited another two month, still no report. I do not wish to have any contact with Tacoma energy again.

Overall they did well in describing what I could do to increase efficiency and also provided em with a list of costs to do any work as well as prioritization of the work, and to some thoughts int what I could do vs better for professionals to deal with. The person doing my audit was non pressuring and interested in providing information for use at a later date.

It was a lady and she did a through job from the attic down to the basement. They did some testing and found that my gas fireplace had a slow leak and my water heater was also back-drafting. They’re supposed to prepare a detailed report and give me a list of contractors that can help me fix this. I’m looking forward to getting it taken care of.
