Suburban Door

I called the company on 10/13 and they sent someone out the following day. Khris installed the new spring and replaced the cables within an hour. I've never had that quick a response! Khris was both knowledgable and courteous and I felt the price for the work and materials was very reasonable. I would definitely hire this company again and would highly recommend to others. What great customer service!!

Suburban (Owner - Jim) was very responsive and provided a free written estimate. Jim showed up when promised, did a professional job installing the door and hardware and removed the old door and hardware. To save money he recommended that I purchase a garage door opener and suggested where I could get one at a good price. He installed the opener at a nominal charge. He honored the Angie's List discount. The experience was very positive with Suburban. I would recommend them and use them in the future.

Very punctual, polite, friendly and efficient. My garage door was stopping very frequently when closing. I had no idea what was wrong with it. He fixed it in a matter of 30 minutes. It works like new. I would highly recommend.

Went perfectly. While waiting to get a call from dept store installers to schedule, I called Suburban Door and spoke to Jim. He was able to come by the same day. I called the store and was given a refund for the installation fee I had paid the previous day. Jim came out installed everything, cleaned up, showed us the newer features and was on his way in a matter of a couple hours from the initial phone call. Highly recommend.

The door had been making noises for a couple of days so we thought that we had better get it fixed. He came out quickly and did the work in about an hour. Jim called me back within 24 hours. In addition to his quote for the opener and installation, he gave me the option of purchasing an opener on my own, and directed me to a store near my home. I ended up purchasing my own unit, and Jim installed it the next morning. I would definitely call on him again!

Jim contacted me right away and scheduled an appointment for the estimate. He was prompt and very friendly. While I was explaining my concern about the garage door opener light not working, and that I figured I probably needed a new opener, he suggested an alternate solution. He said to buy a motion detector and scew it into the existing light fixture in the ceiling. It would automatically turn on the overhead light when I pulled into the garage. I did and it works great! The quality of his work was very good and completed promptly. I have already given his name to several of my friends.

As alway, Jim was great. He was out first thing in the morning and repaired it. He said it was a broken gear inside the unit. It works great and we're glad to have it repaired with all this cold weather and snow! We've had Jim out several times over the years and he does a great job. We highly recommend Suburban Door!!

Jim , the owner came the next day after I called about my problem. The door would not stay closed and would have to be tried many times to stay closed. Jim was able to make the adjustment with only a normal service call. He also gave me several good pointers about maintenance of the garage door. I was very pleased with the service and the price was very fair.

Jim, the owner, responded very quickly to my voice-mail and, after connecting, was at our home within 30 minutes. Once on site, he quickly assessed that one of our garage door springs had broken. He highly recommended that we replace both springs to preclude the cost of a follow-up call when/if the other spring broke. He replaced both springs, lubricated the door hinges, and provided professional advice on how to properly maintain the door. He was in and out within 45 minutes and the door is back in perfect operating order.

His recommendation saved me $50. on the garage door opener and I got a more reliable model. He was prompt to the time he told me he would come, courteous, and explained my new garage door opener with tips to avoid problems from dirt build-up, etc. I received a 10% angieslist discount and would absolutely call him again. It's been about a week and the garage door works perfectly!

I placed a call to Surbauban Doors, and reached the owner, Jim Heineman. He was in the neighborhood and said he could come right over. Unfortunately, I work downtown Columbus, so I said I would have to meet him later. He met me after work at 5 pm and told me what to do with the remote. I explained that I needed to be able to get into the garage when our electric was out, and he showed me a quick release coil and explained how it worked. I said I'd take one, and he installed it right then. My neighbor came out and had him install one for her too. He let us split the service fee since we live right next to each other.
