Description of Work: The driver arrived within 30 minutes of my call as was able to determine immediately that my car battery was completely drained. He successfully jump-started the car and provided valuable advice as to where to go to get the battery fully diagnosed and replaced if necessary. I can't imagine a better experience under the circumstances.

Description of Work: My car was legally parked in Kingsdale Shopping Center 5/30/09 at 2:30 in the afternoon. I was shopping and have receipts from my purchases. At 6 pm ,I went out to my car to find it was gone. It had been towed by Shamrock Towing. When I called they said it had been parked for too long and had a forsale sign on it, which they told me was illegal. When I retrieved my car 2 hours later, I found the original rubber car mats stolen from the car. When I inquired about this, I was told I would have to talk to their manager Ina on Monday.

We are hired by the owners of the Kingsdale shopping complex to impound vehicles at the property owner's discretion. If the customer's vehicle was impounded because it was "sitting too long" or had a For Sale sign in the window, it is the decision of the property owner, not Shamrock Towing, to have that vehicle impounded. We don't sit around and dream up rules about what constitutes "too long". We simply follow the rules set in place by the property owner and dispatch a truck when they request us. Any person with a pulse and half their brain cells remaining will take the customer's claim that we stole his rubber mats with a large grain of salt. (Could I please see the police report on the stolen goods while we're at it? We stole his rubber mats, so surely the customer filed a police report, no?). The customer needs to aim his or her anger at the owners of the property (the only people who had the power to order his vehicle into impound), not the towing company that provided the service to the property owner.
