Overall a good experience, although some things need to be kicked up a notch. Next time the contract will specify all sub contractors can be changed per owner. The strong subs were the framers, electricians, trim workers, new roof contractors, independent Hennessy Landscaping, and a couple others. The weak sub contractors were plumbing ( fergusons and joe baumann) , appliances (hh gregg), independent contractor for the old windows (the " wood window surgeon "), Jae Company for cabinets, sidewalks/car park contractor, and a couple others. Overall, I would recommend people be open to contractors and sub contractors that are not part of the package. Be willing to get your own and get competitive bids, it is not that hard to do and is worth the time.

When we did the final walk through, there was NOTHING that needed to be done! I couldn't believe it! They put the same quality in the lower priced homes as they do with the million dollar homes. It was a joy to build with them! Mr. Romanelli has an impeccable reputation!

Overall decent experience as builders go, but superintendent was not a top performer. Interior design consultant was also difficult to work with and made us conform to her limited schedule. Many days went by with no progress on house and many things were unfinished or not to our standards at close. Several errors resulting from poor job site supervision occurred and had to be resolved. Interior painting is sloppy (apparently done by superintendent s cousin). Superintendent recommended repair to concrete driveway flaw that made problem worse, and had to argue for nearly a year to have the fix made the correct way. Owner finally intervened on our behalf and we are happy with the results. Unfortunate that the effort was needed to get a few hundred dollar fix done on a home this expensive. Most other issues were resolved as of one year repair date. No house is perfect, and no builder is easy to work with. In the end, R&H makes a nice home.

They did a beautiful job. Everything is of good quality and reasonably priced. If any problems arose, they took care of them. They were very responsive. This is the second time they have built for us.

PHIL IS A CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL BUILDER. ESTIMATE WAS VERY, VERY CLOSE TO TOTAL FEE. HIS PRIMARY WORKER/FOREMAN, JEFF, WAS ALSO WONDERFUL. WORKED FOR 2 WEEKS, MON-FRI. DELIVERED WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. WILL DO MORE WITH THIS COMPANY.

I MOVED IN 2 WEEKS AGO AND IT IS GREAT. I LIKE MY CONDO AND THE PEOPLE ARE VERY GOOD.
